I like to change up the Marshall's location I go to so I came to this one. It wasn't crazy on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was still organized. I am used to the chaos from other locations. I definitely found a different selection from the other location. I found some beauty items here that I couldn't find elsewhere. I don't think to come here for decorations, but I need to check it out for the holidays. They had Fourth of July decorations and Pride decorations. Large selection of lunch bags. The line may look intimidating, but it goes fast since they have multiple cashiers. They definitely keep you busy in line with all the merchandise to look at before you get to the register.

We came here to get some baby clothes for a baby shower and we're surprised by the selection to choose from. Although there was nearly twice as much items for girls than boys we still managed to get some good gifts. Then the cashier named Bradley was really nice and funny. He made conversation with us and got us to laugh a couple of times. Overall great experience and no complaints.

Clean location but please don't close your bathrooms at 10:30 right after the store opens. It's inconvenient to your customers.

Love Marshalls. Went for candles and they had a wide variety, just not the particular one I was in search for.

It's technically floor length, but I'm 5'10" so it stops at the ankle instead of covering my feet. So now the shoes have to be stunning enough that no one will even notice the hemline. I ordered a pair on Amazon that were supposed to arrive Friday. Then I got the dreaded update that they were delayed to Saturday... at 10 PM. Well, that's not going to work. So I made the mad dash to Nordstrom Rack Saturday morning. I walked in with low expectations, fully prepared to hit multiple stores before finding anything close to what I needed. Instead, I found the most gorgeous Badgley Mischka crystal pumps. They're slightly bigger than my normal size, but that actually works in my favor. They're comfortable, my toes can move, and I can already tell I won't be plotting my escape from them halfway through the evening. While I was there I grabbed a strapless bra and even found a formal bag that works better than the clutch I originally planned to carry. Sibyl at checkout was the perfect finishing touch to my morning. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like the Nordstrom culture of service I studied back in graduate school.

I was told that the item was in stock and would arrive within a few days. THE VERY NEXT MORNING, I checked on the order and it was canceled. No email, no phone call, just canceled. When I called customer service, I was told that if an item says "only a few left," I should be suspect that the order will be canceled. WHAT? In other words, don't count on receiving your order until it arrives, and don't bother to call and check on your order b/c we'll just tell you it's being shipped. Twice now this has happened. I expect better from Nordstrom.

The employee couldn't even locate the product, I ended up finding it myself. Then I got in line for the return. There are 2 registers. The manager who tried to help me was up front hanging things and told me the girl at the register would be right with me. That girl was working on a return with a guy who's girl was in the dressing room. They were waiting on her to come out to do something. All the while I had to stand and wait. I was disappointed the manager didn't offer to help with my return versus making me wait the nearly 10 min it took for them to finalize the other return. I like the jacket I bought, but will likely never shop Altar'd State again to avoid having to go in person to either shop or do an online return.

It's funny that people don't realize this is a Christian store because I got that vibe straight away, and you can tell by a lot of the clothing in here. More conservative than most places, and plenty of imagery on various products. It would be hard to miss. So it's a specialty shop then, and it's not for everyone. It's expensive stuff, but at least some of it is cute and at least some of it is not too overtly religious so it's not bad.

Gorgeous displays, stunning pieces everywhere you look, and it's honestly just fun to wander even if you're just browsing. Each floor is basically a little runway of gorgeousness, and I kept catching myself doing slow laps like I was at a museum of handbags and shoes. Everything is styled beautifully, so even if you don't plan to buy, it still feels like a full designer experience. There is luxury pricing, but even if you want to just browse there are tons of options and so much help in the store for your budget. What really made it stand out though was the service. I only had an actual consultant in Chanel, but everywhere else in the store I still felt taken care of. Staff were attentive and kind without hovering, and I never got that awkward vibe of being ignored or followed. I got to browse with zero pressure, which makes all shopping so much more enjoyable. Even the parking feels fun with palm trees out front. If you're going for a certain brand or inside boutique (like Chanel), give yourself extra time to explore. This location is also right by an area with a bunch of shopping, food spots, and fun stuff to do (we even did VR nearby), so it's easy to make this stop part of a whole outing.

Yes this is a very upscale store that is incredibly well merchandised. The bathrooms alone here out do some prominent hotel facilities. They have specials events from time to time in store. Service is the secret sauce in Kicking It! From the time you swing open the door you are greeted in a very pleasant way. The sales associate ask if you are looking for anything special. They are poised to direct you to the section of the store of the requested shoe. The sales folks feel like family, so there is no high pressure sales tactics. You could peruse the sneakers at your leisure. Sneakers are not cheap. My nephews and nieces have quite a selection of sneakers, so I was prepared to hear the prices. In life, sometimes you get what you pay for. In fact, if they were a cat they might have exceeded their nine lives. Have you had the feeling like you can feel air hitting your feet, yet you do not know where it was coming from. Then you look down and realize that your toe is poking out of your shoe. Yep, that's what happened to me. Fortunately, I have a backup pair of tennis shoes, so I quickly activated plan B. Off I went to the Nike store in search of new pair of tennis shoes. I walked into the store with the confidence of a woman who new exactly what she wanted in an absolutely uncertain way. I told the sales representative I needed tennis shoes that said, "I'm an athlete but also person who cry at romantic comedies." He handed me a pair that looked like they could be perfect until I saw the price tag. Who pays over $100 for tennis shoes...not me! Did $50 tennis shoes go out with the dark ages? Have I been living under a rock? Remember discounts and sales are my shopping love language. Trying them on was a feat. Size 9, please. Well, no 9's in that style, but here's a 8 for sizing. What exactly does that mean? I have worn a size 9 tennis shoes for about 15 years. First, I had to wrestle my foot in like I was stuffing an air mattress back into its original packaging. I stumbled up and felt like my feet was pulsating the song "We will rock you" by Queen. To test drive these shoes, I did a test jog down the aisle and back, narrowly avoiding a stack of shoeboxes and a child throwing tiny cars like little projectile missiles. The service was very good in the store. I cannot make a quick decision regarding expensive tennis shoes. So, I decided to wait for the Black Friday Sale in November or perhaps an earlier sale.

I was just sitting in the hallway outside the dressing room waiting for my daughter to show me her next outfit. Suddenly, what appears to be the manager comes into this hallway and asks me to get out of this hallway and stand in the main part of the store, as she said other women were coming in using a very snooty tone of voice. I wasn't doing anything wrong and I was just sitting in the hallway to the dressing booths. This in my view was horribly rude, especially for paying customers, which I am. The manager then proceeded to force her opinion on my daughter by telling her to show her, the manager, the outfit as she tried it on. My daughter told me she did not want her opinion but only mine, her father. Totally arrogant. The staff here is horrible and I have never experienced such arbitray and crash rudeness. This is NOT the way to treat customers. I agree with the other 1 and 2 star reviewers. The staff here has no idea how to treat their customers. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Please stay away at all costs. The store in my opinion is not very good anyway, and many items are not available in the right sizes. There are plenty of good clothing stores around where the staff is very polite and courteous to their customers. Not this place. Don't shop here, unless you like to be treated rudely and disrespectly. I buy my daughter a lot of clothes and spend fairly extravagantly on her attire, but we will never shop here again.
