This will be my main Marshalls! I like the other locations, but this location is better. I don't like saying that, but it's true. The selection of soaps is plentiful! I l love the Castelbel brand soaps, and I was able to get all of my favorite scents. Plus, the popular clothing, purse, and shoe brands were here too. I was also searching for some furniture pieces, and I have my eye on three different sets. Now I have to decide which one. That's a nice problem to have. Also, the wide range of colorful pots and pans caught my attention, too. I moved over to the comforter and sheets; they were very pretty. I like the prices on the sheets; given the high thread count and the fact that they were sateen, the prices were pretty reasonable. I even saw some candy I really like. This is a standard Marshalls, but noticeably cleaner. Somehow, the staff at this location manages to stay on top of keeping all the shelves and racks pretty organized. It's always neatly arranged which makes it easier to try to find the things you need. The pricing here is solid, just like a typical Marshalls. I like coming here for random not-quite-necessity type things like dish sponges, dog toys, and hangers. I am also huuuge fan of the snack aisle in every discount department store. Random chip and popcorn flavors are typically available. Plus there are the syrup flavors! You can typically get a zero sugar syrup for coffee or other drinks. If you can get the Torani brand in a glass bottle it's a great deal. The glass elevates the vibe for me. read more

I was looking for some summer tops to wear to work, and also a valentines blouse. I think I nailed it. I didn't want anything that was too valentine-ish. Cause you can only wear it once and then what? I did like this black and white top with the hearts on it. Not too valentine, just enough. I think I could wear this again, say on Ash Wednesday or something. The store is really neat and organized. I browsed around for quite some time. I stood in line with my purchases. Even though there were a lot of customers in line, it did move rather fast. My cashier was nice and helpful. She offered me a credit card and told me how much I could save on this purchase. But I declined the credit card. I my total for 3 blouses was $50.00 which I think was a good deal. They are very nice tops, if I do say so myself. read more

This store is huge and Love the collection in this store but the staff is least bothered! The checkout lines are usually pretty long during busy hours but there are only like 2or 3 checkout counters open and the line wraps around the store ! Don't expect any help around the store . I've gone to this Marshall's before, but today was exceptionally epic. They seemed to be fully restocked AND the organization is crazy. No one hiding randomly hello kitty items here. I like to change up the Marshall's location I go to so I came to this one. It wasn't crazy on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was still organized. I am used to the chaos from other locations. I definitely found a different selection from the other location. I found some beauty items here that I couldn't find elsewhere. I don't think to come here for decorations, but I need to check it out for the holidays. They had Fourth of July decorations and Pride decorations. Large selection of lunch bags. The line may look intimidating, but it goes fast since they have multiple cashiers. They definitely keep you busy in line with all the merchandise to look at before you get to the register. read more

Through the Shopkick app, Marshall's demonstrates its generosity by rewarding you for coming in with big rewards. I wanted a pair of pants with zippered pockets. I saw some options. T.J. Maxx's store had better options, so I got what I needed there. It works out, because T.J. Maxx and Marshall's belong to the same parent company. We came here to get some baby clothes for a baby shower and we're surprised by the selection to choose from. Although there was nearly twice as much items for girls than boys we still managed to get some good gifts. Then the cashier named Bradley was really nice and funny. He made conversation with us and got us to laugh a couple of times. Overall great experience and no complaints. read more

This is a nice Marshall's: clean, bright, organized and roomy. The clothing racks are not jam packed, and you can browse through easily. Today I found a set of measuring spoons (Kitchen Aid brand) for $2 in the clearance section. Two dollars! Do not neglect the "clearance" signs throughout the store, because if you do find something here, it will be like getting an additional discount on Marshall's already discounted price. read more

The internet said they close at 11pm for the Holiday hours but we just tried to walk in at 7:55 and were promptly told by the woman stationed at the door that " they close in 5 min". Weren't even allow to walk in. If the internet states you are open then why are you closing early? Staffing issues? Then change the info posted online. I had some great success here finding a number of summer dresses. Extremely well priced, very well made and up to date. Many of the dresses were professional, and I found a knockout "date night" dress from Lauren Ralph Lauren for half off. A girl can't ask for more than that. read more

This Marshall's seems to have a lot more name brand items than it's competition, Ross Dress For Less. The prices are more expensive than Ross, but the quality of stuff is better too. I was killing time before the stores at the Domain opened and this Marshall's opened at 9:30, I was looking for a specific color of shoes so I thought what the hell. I should preface by saying I HATE Ross. It gives me anxiety attacks at the amount of crap on the floor, not finding two shoes that match, having to step over screaming kids that were obviously left there by their gypsy parents. On the other hand I LOVE TJ Maxx. To me it's everything Ross isn't but with all the great deals. Marshall's has always been eh, somewhere in the middle to me, until today. This store had SO many great things! It was clean, well organized, it even organized the racks by brands (which I loved). Sometimes the racks at TJ Maxx are so close together it's impossible for two people to pass down either side, but this Marshall's wasn't like that at all. I know it was because I was there so early, that it was so empty, but it was awesome to practically have a whole store to yourself. I can't believe I'm praising a Marshalls but I was really VERY impressed and excited at this new find. read more

When I was a kid, we totally loved Marshall's because we could get Polo's for cheap, so our mom would buy us more! So imagine my excitement when I found out Marshall's would be opening in Austin... Then I went in yesterday, and man, that was kind of a let down. I found NOTHING in the clothe aisles. I mean, not even something mediocre. Hoisery was decent, I picked up some multi-packs of trouser socks (not to be confused with trouser-snakes) for $5.99 each. Housewares were OK too. I got a couple of cute Jonathan Adler coffee mugs and some plain white pillow cases that I needed. So it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood, but I don't think I'd make a special trip any time soon. read more

This is by far the best and most organized/well stocked location in Austin. Also it is oddly never crowded in my experience, and there are plenty of employees. Side note: do not sign up for their email list because you'll have to fake your death, or at the very least change your identity and flee the country for the emails to stop. read more

I did some Christmas shopping here just a few days before the holiday. I wasn't paying attention to my transaction and mindlessly signed the receipt. Fast-forward 6 weeks--I was adding up holiday receipts and realized I'd been charged twice for an item I'd purchased. An $18 item. Their return policy is 30 days, & though I figured I was screwed, I decided to give it a shot. The cashier was very friendly and directed me to the manager, Mimi. I explained my predicament and she agreed to give me store credit, even though there's obviously no way to prove that I didn't just purchase two of the same item. She was even apologetic that they could only give me store credit instead of returning it to my credit card. (Heck, I was pleased as punch that I was even getting that!) I've shopped at this store multiple times in the past, and my only complaint is the screaming children running all over the store like it's a playground, unattended. Every. Time. I'm. There. My main concern is that if one of them falls and gets hurt, the parents will probably sue and Marshall's will have to raise their prices to cover the lawsuit :-P Not to mention my splitting eardrums. Overall this is a decent Marshall's: clean, not totally trashed like some discount department stores, good selection, and friendly staff. read more

I really like the merchandise here and the layout. The staff keep the place well-organized and the pricing of course is always great! We have found things here that we could not find anywhere else. We were in search of a nice hard-case luggage bag that was made by a good brand yet cheap and voila~ we found it at this Marshalls! The managers are friendly and if you have questions then there always seems to be someone nearby that you can ask questions to. I wanted to buy all of the white and black coffee mugs but got some blue bowls instead. Got a fantastic set of sheets for $40...so soft and pretty. - The purses seem kind of pricey but everything else seemed well priced. I'm not the normal Marshall's shopper. When it comes to Marshall's I'm a connoisseur. Yep, I have been to Marshall's in multiple states and hubby will tell you that I can find them like a hound dog can sniff out trail. This one, okay, not my favorite Marshall's in the world in terms of having the best brand names. And the men's section is rather sparse, especially when it comes to men's suits. And, while they have women's handbags, there is a decided lack of the big names. What they need is a good Home Goods store in the area. That will probably make up for the small housewares section in this store. But, hey, this is a Marshall's and I love Marshall's. read more

They say they have 30-day return policy. But when we bring back the shoes within 30 days, they refused to take them back. The reason we needed to return shoes because my mom slipped and fell when she was wearing that pair of shoes for the 1st time. So we decided to return them, but the store staff said they cannot take it back because it has been lightly worn, even though it's still within 30-day return window. If you are not sure if you will keep the things or not, please don't buy from Marshalls. read more

I must admit I rarely visit Marshall's because I always found the clothes expensive. However this location is legit! I visited twice since my move to Austin and was able to find something each time. Customer service can used some tighten. You will not be greeted when you enter the store and it's hard to find assistance when needed. The store is pretty neat and organized, but the clearance racks can be a little messy. Prepare to stand in line especially if you go on the weekend because only 3 lanes are opened. read more

Ive been to more Marshall's coast to coast than I care to admit. I travel quite a bit for work so it's afforded me the opportunity to seek them out. A few things I've come to count on at Marshall's, two sometimes three different languages will be overheard. Not just your garden variety Spanish either, no there is usually someone (on the phone seemingly shopping for someone else via proxy) speaking very loudly in some sort of Eastern European language. And a surplus of sports jerseys from teams states away with the names of players that haven't taken the field in years. This Marshall's is no exception. However, the main reason I seek out the cultural retail stew that is Marshall's is the big and tall section as well as the off chance of finding some sort of shoes in my size. Sadly those days seem to be gone. They seem to have gotten rid of the big and tall section all together. This has proven true in Atlanta as well. I see no mention of it on the website any more. This is disappointing. I have quite a few Marshall's bargains hanging in my closet as I was able to find a few high quality shirts (name brand!) for dirt cheap. Now most of the larger size clothes they carry seem to be rejects from the Guy Fieri collection. Very much on the chain. They do seem to still have a few larger size shoes however. I only took the time to write this so as to inform any other wayward big and tall bargain hunter that you can sadly take Marshall's off your list. Marshall's is owned by the same company that owns TJ Maxx, but it seems like Marshall's gets the cream of the crop as far as nice designer goods. I tend to find a lot more stuff I like at Marshall's - awesome sparkly jewelry by Liz Palacios, tops and dresses by Max Studio; gorgeous shoes I couldn't do without; and lots of other miscellaneous-but-fabulous designer finds have awaited me at Marshall's. They also carry a surprisingly interesting stock of housewares - both decorative (knick knack-y things, including picture frames, wall art, and just stuff - I have always suspected that Pier One is one source of merchandise for places like these, although they carry a much wider selection than Pier One does) and functional (nice pots and pans and dishes, a limited selection of bedding, towels, bath rugs, etc.). They also carry gourmet foodstuffs which are great for gift baskets or your own gourmet-snackin' self. For the longest time, Round Rock had the only Marshall's in town and being a somewhat lazy shopper, my trips there were limited to clandestine stops during working hours when I was on my way back from business trips in Killeen or Belton. So I was thrilled when this location popped up, followed not long afterwards by several others. I've found this location to be even better than the one in Round Rock as far as finding things I just had to have, which is lovely because it's infinitely closer to my house. In deference to my busting-at-the-seams closet, though, I try not to stop by too often. read more

Whoa. This Marshall's is gigantic. Talk about loads of space. And their shoe selection is pretty incredible. And I don't think I've seen a discount store so well organized, as far as clothing on the racks, shoes in the boxes-- even their Christmas stockings were perfectly arranged. I'm a little fanatic about checking multiple stores to see if their stock is different -- other than shoes, seems like this has the same stock as other Marshall's in town, so if this one's near you, enjoy it. read more

Any Marshalls is a good place to get name brand stuff for cheap. I usually get stuff from the food/kitchen department, so may different spices and brands that I usually never see at HEB and if I do see them at HEB they are double the price. But thats not all, I now have a collection of All-Clad cookware. They have something for everyone, whether its clothes, shoes, sports and swim wear, fitness and even some local teams jerseys and national teams. read more
