When I tried to tell her that the system is sending text messages out to pick up prescriptions when in fact its not ready. Seemed like a tech issue. But then she got snappy with me. Rude and slow. The doctor informed me he was sending the prescription to Anderson RX. I was on my way to Anderson to pick it up unsure if being so late, it would be filled that night. Not even five minutes later, I received a call from Anderson RX reminding me they were closing soon. When I arrived they were very friendly, even being so close to their closing timeframe I received my prescription. First pharmacy who looked up our insurance information and updated it without us having to provide new cards. Walgreens will not do that! Anderson RX is by far the best! We drive from Redding just to go to there, it's worth the drive for the service.

This Walgreens is nice and clean with a huge wrap around parking lot. The also have a drive through pharmacy around back that usually never has lines. If the checkout line is long, go to the makeup counter right past the door and they'll get you in a jiffy.

There have been many problems using this pharmacy since we moved our prescriptions after Rite Aid shut down. The staff either don't care about people or their jobs, except for a few people, like Cassie. The line is almost always 3 to twenty people long. They don't move with any sense of purpose. I think part of the problem is that the workspace is inadequate. They must have at least a thousand prescriptions a day, and they are working in such a confined space. Also, the basic operations are never up to par, which, reflex's poor management. The saddest part is watching elderly customers having to stand in line for 20-30 minutes just to find out their stuff isn't ready. If they need a chair there's only three. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I feel bad for all of the people who have been mistreated here. Even if you try to call ahead of time to see if your stuff is ready, good luck talking to someone. Having been a Store Manager for a large retail store, there is so much room for improvement, but it starts with the leadership which is clearly lacking. I recommend trying somewhere else!!!

This north Redding location of Raley's Pharmacy is not my usual place I get my prescriptions, but I…read morewas headed up the 5 to Oregon and I need something, so I phoned in the order the day before. I'd really like it if they had an online system to manage my orders, like Walmart has. But Raley's already had this one prescription, so it was just easier than doing a transfer. One thing I don't like about Raley's Pharmacy is the hours. They don't open till 10am and like Walmart opens at 9am and even on Sundays, where Raley's closes on Sunday. No biggie, just deal with it. There was a small line when I arrived, but it went OK. No problem customers with tons of dumb questions that the poor pharmacy tech can't answer, like what your doctor is thinking or some crazy stuff. I get my order no prob and they have all my insurance stuff there, so off I go. I'm lucky this location was easy access off the 5 and back on again. If you need groceries, or like I did, some road snacks, you can get it there, but you need to pay for that stuff at the regular check out.

I have been bringing my pharmacy business to the Dana location since Target opened…read more I have observed the service level go down and down with long lines and one cash register open, and their closing for lunch policy, in the last couple of years. CVS emailed me a survey, to take of how they did on my last pickup. I answered their questions honestly referencing my complaint listed above. Yesterday I received a call from the manager referencing my negative comments. She said when people leave negative reviews it reflects on the local staff, and that my complaints were not in their control. She said the closing at lunch is a corporate decision to be good to their employees so they call all go to lunch together. I asked her what other businesses do that, and commented that I thought a business is supposed to value their customers, and put the customers convivence first. She told me nothing was going to change, and that it appeared to her that I would never be happy at that location. Funny I was for like 30 years? She suggested that I take my business elsewhere so that is exactly what I put in motion this morning. I'm not going to continue to give my business to a business that does not appreciate if they have you as a customer or not. In summary CVS has no interest in improving their service to their customers. I was told by their management, if you do not like it, take your business someplace else. So I did.

I haven't needed substitutions for my dog food. (They were consistently out of stock at my previous location). So, considering my situation, It was a nice change. On a different note, my in-store experiences were less enjoyable. I tried to buy an inexpensive phone because mine was stolen. I still can't get it activated and it was supposed to be activated at the register. Also, it was my second time around with the same phone, because the first time was incomplete. Although I entered the store with more than 50% battery power, I soon discovered that it was draining quickly because of a malware problem. However, during checkout I was transferred from the phone counter to the front of the store because they were about to close. So, at 4% bp I had to waste the majority of what was left traveling to the front of the store. But once I reached the register, I was advised to turn off the phone while I was being rung up a second time. When I turned it on again, I was unable to get to the wallet on my phone in time to make the purchase and they kicked me out instead of helping me. So, in my opinion, they were part of the problem rather than the solution and didn't meet their responsibility to make it right. I believe It would have been better if the first guy had been more helpful and less concerned about his own issues with time management or whatever. In conclusion, I don't, like some of the employees who are here. But I do like that I am able to feed my doggy. To me that's the highest priority. Pettiness is better left to the less competent crowd.
