I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT GETTING YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! I am on PRESCRIPTION pain meds (opioids) and I have Medi-cal and Medi-cal covers all pain meds with a form that has to be filled out online by your doctor. Rite aid told me that Medi-cal will NOT COVER ANY opioid pain medication and that my meds would cost $1255.00 per month qty 180 Instead I went to Costco and at the time they did not accept Medi-cal for any persons or prescriptions so my meds were costing $65.79 per month qty 180. I believe that Rite aid is prejudiced against those having to take opioid and those on Medi-cal. They also violate hippa laws and will share your medical information with third party marketing services with out your permission! I will NEVER have any prescriptions filled at any Rite aid pharmacies in the future! read more

Go anywhere but here...I have medications I need refilled on time that are extremely important, it's been over a week and can't get ahold of anyone. These withdrawals symptoms have been fun. Signage of the door requests customers wear masks. I did. Two cashiers did, though one had it over her mouth and not her nose. A manager-like person was walking around the store with her mask under her chin only. Going to try CVS next time and see if they follow their own policy. read more

This place is ridiculous. The drive-thru is closed. Their website states that the pharmacy is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I went this morning at 8:10 a.m. and the gal said "Oh, they're not open until 9:00 a.m." Forget it. I'm going to switch my pharmacies. read more

I won't shop here any longer. The homeless lay on the sidewalk propped against the wall, or even worse, hiding around a corner. The last time I was there, I was verbally harassed by an apparently homeless and disheveled man asking for money from me. When I refused, he followed me into the store insulting me. I understand that there's not much the store personnel can do, but I'm taking my money to where I feel safe, where I can shop without feeling threatened. read more

The pharmacy on cypress and churn creek is unreliable and often so under staffed that they are unable to fill important prescriptions on time, which can be extremely dangerous to those who need time sensitive medications. They also have closed down early in the day with no other communication than a hand written sign (inside the store). And one other thing, if they are going to be closed for lunch, than please, please write on your hand written sign that your closed "for lunch" not because your," short staffed," This sign created a lot of confusion for rite aid patrons. This Rite Aid location is actually really good. This is probably my third of fourth time going to this location and every time I leave out being happy with the service I received. Many of the staff members that work at this location are super kind. I have not seen or had all of the staff members approach me about service but all of the ones I have were great at their job. It is not always easy to be in a public store and be an employee like a Rite Aid employee. Sometimes customers can be very rude and give the employees attitude. But all of the ploys that works at this location did a great job and they always kept a positive attitude. They were always super helpful in helping me find a lot of the items that I needed as well. It is not always easy finding things in these big stores because they have things spread out all over the place. Plus these locations are Always so big finding the things you were looking for I can be an arduous task sometimes. But all in all I am very happy with the service I received at this location. I always buy my daughters Aquaphor cream at this location. Every time I do it is always in the correct spot. I love that cream and I love the store read more

WORST EXPERIENCE IN A STORE EVER. I was accused of stealing, and allow me to just say I don't steal because I have money to buy things. The woman said that they had been taking pictures of me, I believe she was the manager of the store however I unfortunately did not get her last name because I was so hurt how someone could talk to someone else like that who comes in as a customer. She has a horribly bad attitude, trust me if you go to the store you will encounter her and you'll know exactly who I'm talking about. I couldn't say that statement and mean it anymore than I do. I was in town from Kansas staying at a hotel down the street, so I came to the Rite Aid because I didn't have a hairbrush, I didn't just buy one brush I bought two and I bought soda. How do I remember that so accurately? BECAUSE I STILL HAVE MY RECEIPT. Mind you when I'm at home in Kansas I go to Walmart the same Walmart At least four times a week. I spend a lot of money in that store, never once have I ever been accused of stealing, because I don't steal. If it's not mine I won't take it if I don't have the money to buy it I won't take it. With that being said I would highly advise you to go across the street to Walgreens where they are much nicer and don't accuse you of being a bad human being. I hope that store is forced to close its doors because evidently they kick people out all the for "stealing". Poor management obviously, Terrible people skills and highly uneducated people. I can't speak lower enough about the store and I have never once left and negative yelp review. Honestly I can't remember a time I've ever felt more insulted because the woman said I'm not accusing you, although she told me they have been watching me taking pictures and get my purse looked more full When I came out of the bathroom then when I went in. Simply, don't ever get a prescription filled here. Never once in 6 months have they had it ready on time. They even just admitted that if your quoted time is 1pm, you should just give them 24 hours to be sure. I cannot revolve my life around their false representations anymore. I need a place that I can show up and get a prescription without waiting an hour or more after the quoted time. Terrible. Go literally anywhere else. read more

These stars are about ICECREAM, this is the best place in town for ice cream. 1. Best price 2. Largest portion 3. Tastiest too! Since the Baskin Robbins on Churn Creek Road closed, there's been no other place to get an old-fashioned scoop. And the new owners are very stingy with a portion that's like a child's scoop size and it costs almost $3.00 for one tiny scoop! They are always under-staffed, but they are polite and try to help you as soon as you step-up to the ice cream counter. They are also opened late, and there's even less staff during those summer hours, so be nice and you'll be pleased with the service! read more

I received the Covid vaccination 04/29/21 at Rite Aid on Cypress. Although the staff was so kind and it was completed so promptly- I was not informed if I had side affects/ symptoms to NOT take ibuprofen. I found out at a later time when I had already felt sick and taken ibuprofen that Tylenol was supposed to be taken. I am disappointed that this main factor and education was not provided at the time of the vaccination. read more

They get one star only because I must to post. Horrible customer service!! Had passport photos done there. They didn't even cut them. When I spoke to the store manager and told her that Passport photos have very rigid rules for the size and will not be accepted unless cut to the exact size, she told me that they never cut them and have never had a complaint before. I drove across the street to Walgreens and asked them if they cut their passport photos. The clerk there said, "Of course - they need to be cut." I showed her what Rite Aid just gave me and she said, "I will cut them for you." I called Rite Aid later to ask AGAIN about this (hoping that maybe the persons that I got didn't really know about passport photos) and spoke to another person. She told me the same thing - they NEVER cut photos. I told her that they need be cut and her response was, "Well bring them back in and we'll get you a refund". Guess where I will be doing my business from now on...( and where I won't!) read more

This is NOT a good place to go get a prescription filled!! I went in on a Friday morning to have one filled and they were not friendly, and gave me a run around. Then they told me I would have to wait until Monday for them to fill it. So, I went in Monday around 2pm and they still gave me the run around, I was hurting and they made things worse! Very rude!! I had to go outside and call my doctor to have him call them so they would fill the script!!! That's ridiculous!!!!! I won't ever go there again!!! read more
