I come to this pharmacy often, not because I have the itchy and scratchies, rather because of the population I manage. Normally there are minor hiccups, but nothing too major. I don't fault them for that because I get it,... I'm going to the drug dealer and not everything is gonna go smoothly ALL the time. I want my dope man to have some level of efficiency though. I waited in a standing line for over an hour just to be told that the medications aren't ready. I explained that the order should have been sent over when my client was medically discharged a couple days ago. The gal told me it was, but since they were about to close I'd need to return the following day. Ahhh hell to the naw! I'll go purchase a tent and an air mattress, (cause I'm kinda bougie like that) and camp inside this store but this prescription is gonna be filled today. The young lady who was very sweet btw happily obliged. Whatever system this pharmacy has going on is highly ineffective and managed poorly. In this town I've never seen so many people employed that DON'T want to work, yet there are so many unemployed people, EAGER to work but cannot get hired for past history reasons. MERICA!! Wild HUH? I stood in line for 25 min with 1 person in front of me. I finally was able to ask for the meds. The tech said " they are not all ready yet" she asked if I wanted to stay..... I explained that wouldn't work and to give me the ones that were ready. Then she told me that none were ready. WTH. When I tried to tell her that the system is sending text messages out to pick up prescriptions when in fact its not ready. Seemed like a tech issue. But then she got snappy with me. Rude and slow. Pharmacist "Do" could care less. Very poor customer service…read more Another CVS pharmacy transferred two prescriptions. I arrived about 60 minutes after it was called in. When I arrived I waited in a longer than normal line to get service. When it was my turn I was told only one of the 2 prescriptions was filled. They had no record of the second one. The clerk transferred me to the pharmacist who searched further on the computer and found it. He said it was "lost in the system". It needed to be filled. I said ok I'll be patient. Then he said come back in 40 minutes because he was closing the pharmacy for lunch. I said I have perishables inside the car and it's 98 degrees outside. He said "I'm sorry, come back in 40 minutes." Now you would think if this was my fault or I arrived just at lunch time to have a prescription filled I could understand waiting around. But it wasn't my fault. You would think he would have taken 5 minutes to fill the lost prescription rather making me wait 40+ minutes with perishables inside the car. Very poor customer service.

This Walgreens is nice and clean with a huge wrap around parking lot. The also have a drive through pharmacy around back that usually never has lines. If the checkout line is long, go to the makeup counter right past the door and they'll get you in a jiffy.

Since the Baskin Robbins on Churn Creek Road closed, there's been no other place to get an old-fashioned scoop. And the new owners are very stingy with a portion that's like a child's scoop size and it costs almost $3.00 for one tiny scoop! They are always under-staffed, but they are polite and try to help you as soon as you step-up to the ice cream counter. They are also opened late, and there's even less staff during those summer hours, so be nice and you'll be pleased with the service!

Rite aid told me that Medi-cal will NOT COVER ANY opioid pain medication and that my meds would cost $1255.00 per month qty 180 Instead I went to Costco and at the time they did not accept Medi-cal for any persons or prescriptions so my meds were costing $65.79 per month qty 180. I believe that Rite aid is prejudiced against those having to take opioid and those on Medi-cal. They also violate hippa laws and will share your medical information with third party marketing services with out your permission! I will NEVER have any prescriptions filled at any Rite aid pharmacies in the future!

I guess there was the time we had trouble getting the twins the same med when they were babies and couldn't at first because they have the same birthday. Before and after that, I can report weekly positive experiences. My elderly mother was on several meds and they got it right. Dane for the rest of the family. Problems were usually solved within five minutes and for sticky problems, I got in Yvonne's line. The woman is a magician. If I needed a med for Mom, she made it happen (unless it was in the doctors end but even then she got it done ASAP). You don't many people like her. Of course she often isn't working and the others are good, too. I appreciate that the retail section is best and clean. It's better stocked than many other drugstores and if I see it on their website or app and it's supposed to be at this location, it almost always is. Again, unlike their competitors. At this location I am shears greeted at the door. People are helpful. I wanted a tiny tube of Vaseline for my lips once and an employee walked the store with me, checking five location as well as digging through the inventory in the back. I'm sure issues emerge with about-to-be-fired staff or others having a bad day. People steal items so it's incorrectly listed on the app. Compared to other stores, this CVS is leaps and bounds ahead.
