If I could give this pharmacy a 0 I would. However, it is only due to pharmacist Duane. He is by far the rudest pharmacist we have ever had the "pleasure" of working with. Back story, the CVS at 91st and Lake Pleasant closed and we were all transferred to this one. John, the pharmacist we had previously was AMAZING. A few weeks ago, my husband called, as the CVS app wasn't showing correct information. He was on hold for 10 minutes, then heard some beeps, like dialing a number, and then was hung up on. My husband called back, and got Duane and my husband said he had been hung up on, Duane kept talking over him, and then got frustrated when my husband asked a question, he snapped back saying "I have 15 pages to look through." Then stated that the script hadn't been transferred to them yet from the previous CVS, which was funny, as we had already picked it up previously from this location, this was the refill. When my husband stated that, Duane was still rude and didn't change his attitude. He finally "found it, was very rude about it and said it would be refilled. Then, it wasn't and my husband had to call the Dr.'s office and tried to get it all worked out, Duane did NOTHING but be rude, and did nothing to help the situation. Fast forward to today, I called as the CVS app showed a script ready that was about $280 and we have paid a lot less. I had the pleasure of talking with Duane, he was very rude, constantly interrupted me, and wouldn't listen to what I was asking. We have provided our insurance card multiple times, and he kept saying, they didn't have it. (Funny as we have had our new card on file since the switch and haven't had issues!) He then said he was putting me on hold because he had a line of customers in front of him, guess I wasn't a customer. I said no worries we would be there in a few minutes, and hung up. He called back my husband's phone number within a minute, although I called from my phone, and was once again very rude. My husband explained we were on our way there and hung up. We were less than a minute away. There was no line at all, nor any cars in the drive thru. I walked up, and Duane said he would be right with me, I told him I did not want to speak with him, I wanted to talk to someone else. Again, he was very rude, saying he had a long line, again, phone customers must not matter, and he wouldn't have called us back that fast with a long line of customers. He kept going and I would try to talk, and he would interrupt every time I was talking. I pointed to my hat, and said "shut up and listen," which is what my hat said. He got even more rude and told me not to tell him to shut up, I asked him to listen to me instead of interrupting. By this time my husband was at the counter and Duane started arguing with him. My husband explained this wasn't the first encounter and when he was explaining the first situation, Duane kept arguing, saying it didn't happen. He said he was going to cancel our order, which is fine, as we weren't paying $280 when we paid about $70 last time. I refused to talk to him and worked with Fiona, who is AMAZING. She figured out the issue, sent a note to the Dr. and helped us out greatly, all while Duane kept being rude. I asked for a corporate number to provide a complaint against Duane and give KUDOS to Fiona, which Fiona provided. I will be calling first thing Monday morning, as they were already closed. The other pharmacist at this CVS is great, I wish I knew his name. I have heard Duane talk to other customers and we have had the other pharmacy techs say, "oh that was probably Duane," when people would complain. I could see the other pharmacy tech trying not to smile as my husband was telling Duane how rude he was, so I don't think this is new or a secret. We are working on switching all of our prescriptions from this CVS because of this man and how he treats people. I would caution anyone who has to come into contact with him and yes, he is a liar, and he will never apologize when wrong, he just blames others. I've heard other people who had their prescriptions transferred here had issues as well. If you can work with Fiona, you're golden, but if you get Duane, be ready to be treated like garbage. read more

I wanted to let you know to stay away from using PayNearMe as CVS Pharmacy " This company is a scam. They took about $2000 of child support from me and they never paid to my kid's mom. They were offered as a payment option for the Arizona Maricopa Superior Court to pay child support. Instead of paying the money, they told me that they could not find the money. They have stolen my money and made me responsible for thousands of dollars of court fees, child support, and potential jail time. Do not ever use these people. Either they are thieves or they have a faulty system or both. If it was not for the fact that I had my receipt, I could have lost another $300 and they were made to miraculously find $500 but not the other $2000. If there are more victims of this company or any attorneys aware of them, I would like to file a class action law suit against them." read more

This company provides prescriptions for Omnicare for the Alzheimer's facility my husband resides. This is the biggest rip off ever. They charge me 300% percent over what I could get the prescriptions for at Fry's. They have a contract with Brookdale so I am unable to bring my own prescriptions in. I have been hassling with this company for over a year. I used to shop at CVS but with the nightmare of dealing with Omnicare I will never shop this store again. read more

I had a question about why my prescription wasn't automatically filled as it usually was this month. The person on the phone had a very rude tone. She said, "Ok...so what's your question?" Without even getting my name or anything. She then told me that this prescription isn't able to be automatically filled. It has been the past two months, but she says this was supposedly a mistake. Then tells me, "It's your responsibility to call in your own prescription, not ours," I was stunned by how rude the comment came across I didn't know how to respond. I wish I got her name. No need to be rude. A simple "please call ahead of time to fill," would have been a decent response. Going to move my prescriptions to another location. read more

The CVS on 75th and Cactus is the absolute worst. They have online scheduling for the flu shot but when you go there and no one else is in line, they make you wait 20 minutes and then don't explain why you're waiting. What is the point of having an appointment if you're asked to wait that long afterwards. This is the 3rd time I've gone to that pharmacy and walked out empty handed. I will not go back there again. They don't know how to treat their customers and there's too many other pharmacies in this town that would appreciate my business. read more

I am bummed to see a 1 star. I get all my RX filled here while in Arizona and their customer service is excellent. Not to mention the guy at the window Joe, is super nice. He remembers little things. (Like my 3 year old loves, waving hi from the car and orange is her favorite color, so he gives her an orange lollipop) . I can't imagine bad customer service at this location. read more

Called in to the pharmacy a few minutes ago to check on a prescription. My first sentence was I'm calling to see if there is a prescription for me ready. Next steps are usually for pharmacist to ask for name and date of birth. Instead the person who answered (Amanda) says "Well who are you just so you know we don't have caller ID". She must have been the rudest person I have ever encountered and really needs to learn some customer service. I will be switching my pharmacy because there's no way someone should address a customer that way!! read more

I am very disappointed with how I was treated during my visit. I went in to return an item as was being helped by a woman named Rhonda. When she took the receipt out of the bag she was very disrespectful and yelled at me for the receipt being too "scrunched up" and had a fit about hand typing it in. She proceeded to slam her hand on the counter multiple times and walked away from me while I waited. This is my go to pharmacy and CVS store I go to. The clerks are always very helpful, friendly, and will literally leave the register to help you look for items unlike most stores. They also greet you whenever you come in. read more

The staff at this pharmacy is always very helpful and kind. We've been having our prescriptions refilled here for the whole family for about 2 1/2 years now, and we've never had any issues. Once in a while our doctors office will reject a refill, and the pharmacy is very quick to notify us so that we can get the issue resolved without any delays in prescription coverage. I don't go in the store often, but the few times I have, the staff is always been very nice and the store is always clean. read more

WOWEE!!! Super happy to have discovered CVS instead of loser Walgreens!!! I was in line at Walgreens last night for 20 minutes and not ONE car moved!!! I decided "screw this crap" and LEFT!!! I noticed there were NO cars in the spacious drive thru at CVS!! I scooted right in and had my prescription filled in TWO MINUTES FLAT!!! And, the honored my prescription insurance!!! And, when I say spacious drive through, I say it for a reason! Walgreens drive thru is very tight, as evidenced by all of the impact marks on the pillar. I almost hit the left hand side of my vehicle!! I called to say they need to post some warning signs or red tape down that pillar, and I was told he has had a lot of complaints, but it is "not a priority." WTH??? NEVER again Walgreens!!! CVS had stolen me from you and you (Walgreens) will NEVER see me again!!!! read more

I made a small purchase in the pharmacy area of the store at 9172 W Union Hills, Peoria, AZ. There was not a cashier at the front of the store so I went back to the pharmacy to pay. One of the female pharmacists said they were too busy filling customer prescriptions and couldn't ring my purchase. This woman had a very bad attitude and frankly shouldn't be dealing with customers. However, a male pharmacist stopped what he was doing and rung up the sale (his rating is 5 stars). It took all of one minute. He was very pleasant and apologized for the other person attitude. CVS is Aetna Insurance preferred drug store and I will be forwarding this email to Aetna to let them know they should talk to someone at CVS head quarters in Florida to instruct their employees that the people who pay their paycheck are customers and it's important to treat them properly and drop the attitude. Open 24 hours and conveniently located near me and on my way to work. Needed something at 6am, and it was easy to navigate the store and find exactly what I was looking for. The gentleman on shift was pleasant and friendly. I didn't get his name but he was an older gentleman. I can't really ask for much more. read more

I brought my prescription up to the pharmacist at the counter. He took a look and said he had a question he would have to contact the doctor about. I had just come from the doctor, so I said no problem, he is there now. I had my drivers license and insurance card, so the pharmacist punched something into his computer and said since I had not had a prescription filled there before he would not be willing to do that. Really?! I had never been told that by a pharmacist before. Then he punch some more into his computer and said he didn't have it in stock anyway and I should just go somewhere else. He suggested the Walgreen across the street! I have been told "We can order it for you" or "I can check with another of our pharmacies to see if they have it in stock" but never this! He then - and this was the real kicker - made a very judgmental and unprofessional remark about the medication I was prescribed! I could hardly believe my ears! WTH! I can only think he must've wanted me out of the store as quickly as possible for some reason, because that is how it worked. I won't be going back. read more
