I just went through the checkout at the target here and was met by a very nice young man, but he has a condition and he was under severe stress, having trouble breathing completely stressed out kept saying I'm sorry and that we are so busy. We are so busy. While I applied target for hiring someone with a special needs and yes, it is a special needs even though damn the manager that I spoke with defy that comment I don't think it's fair to your customers or to Your employee to be that stressed out. Well, I was told he takes on all the shifts and the cashier is the best fit for him. I suggested maybe he do something different on Saturdays and Sundays when they're extra busy. Granted I'm not the manager, but I was trying to speak up for this young man. But I was met with a person who did not want to hear my opinion he was on the defense and he continually spoke over me that would be Dan the manager. I don't believe Dan is that the highest up manager because I've dealt with that gentleman before and he was not like this person. I just spoke with. I usually have very good customer service at this target but today I'm extremely disappointed. Stop the woke agenda stop saying there's nothing wrong with him. Although I did not start out this conversation with Dan as a complaint, but with regard to his defensiveness and unable to have a conversation with me, I am now saying that this experience has affected me negatively standing in that young man's line gave me stress and anxiety that I don't need. I live in Phoenix Arizona in July where is 117°. Target you need to take better employee care. I love that the Target all tells you what aisle things are in. It makes for trips to be way easier when you're trying to get in and out without walking down every aisle. The self check out line is always pretty long and there are limited cashiers but nothing out of the ordinary. read more

This review is specifically for the Starbucks inside this target. I came in today and purchased a gift card. I already had a starbucks drink in hand but it was so awful I asked her to remake it. The girl who rang me up told me she couldn't remake the drink if it wasn't purchased here but yet didn't ask me if it was purchased here. Which it was but I didn't have a receipt to show her cuz they didn't give me one I then asked if I could get just get some classic sweetener to put in it. She told me they indeed had syrups and sweetners (which I already knew) but then she diidn't give me any? I was even willing to pay for it? She pointed to the counter and then told me I could put stevia or sugar in it (which I did not want) cuz it's not the same. I left super frustrated and I won't be coming back to this Starbucks. I stopped in with a little time to kill. I had not been inside a Target to shop in I don't even remember how long... I walked in expecting to see rubber ducks, but I guess they have not made an appearance at this location. I wandered through aisles, just looking for things to spark my interest. While I did not see any mini brands books, there were a TON of other mini brands items. Their summer or springtime section had a lovely selection of cotton candy that I just had to have. The store has really changed from the last time I was in, but if you give yourself a moment to look around you will find something. I like the app is so user friendly, so I was able to add on a 5% savings for my purchase. I don't do in person shopping much, but I can see myself going back to entertain myself in the future. read more

Waited 20 minutes for someone to unlock a lego for me. I asked a guy in a black shirt in the tech department if he could unlock a lego for me. He said he didn't work for Target but could walkie a team member to come help. I heard him walkie, I waited by the toys for about 5 minutes, went back to the guy, he walkied again, i waited 10 minutes, went back to him and by that time, the girl from that department was back from her lunch and unlocked it for me. Please do not buy gift cards from this store! In fact, I'd recommend against shopping at Target, altogether, due to their sketchy security, terrible policies and lack of customer care. I purchased two $100 gift cards (Visa & Amex) on 7/31 and BOTH were compromised/fraudulent! I activated them right after I bought them and they were immediately drained of funds. The store manager (Dylan) and the Target corporate office took ZERO accountability for the cards THEY sold me and the gift card companies will only "open a fraud case, which will take up to 90-days to resolve". So, I've just been ripped off for $212 by Target and they couldn't care less! The manager clearly stated that this is a known issue, but they just keep selling these fraudulent cards, without attempting to secure them and/or offering to make things right for their customers! read more

I always have found what I needed at this location and I feel as though because it's busier they are stocked fur the foot traffic. The store is clean and employees friendly. So since I'm here every day it seems. Mainly as an excuse to just get out of the house with the kids. This target is finally doing some major upgrading and it doesn't look so dumpy as it did a couple years ago when I made this review. Do you only get four stars because your bathroom in front of the store and at the pharmacy are always disgustingly dirty and smelly.. Along with the fact that during the week you only have two registers open and there's always lines. But I do enjoy my nice walk around. If I am going to do a big target shop I end up going to the super target that is off of Happyvalley or the one that's off Tatum because everybody loves a super target. read more

Been shopping at this target for the last 3 years. It's always clean and tidy. The staff always seems like your typical target staff you find at most targets. I don't really recognize anyone here when I shop and I come in pretty much once a week. Anyone you catch is helpful and willing to help you find things. Shelves are stocked pretty well. I noticed the other day that all the people with carts to stock or pull orders all greeted me which was out of the ordinary and super refreshing since people are kinda avoiding each other and treating one another like the other has a plague, LOL. It was a nice change target. The registers are always a pain in the @ss like normal with their weird design of going diagonal and getting your card stuck trying to go through to the front registers. I don't think any of us can hold out for them to fix that terrible design lol. I do leave 4 stars though because their parking lot is the parking lot from hell. Theres constantly people stopping in front of the store which is right next to a 3 way stop so everyones always getting stuck there when trying to park while customers just walk out into traffic without looking. Add the new pick up parking spots right there making more traffic of employees going in and out and the parking lot is just a mess. I have always loved target but I shop there less than normal because I just don't want to deal with the traffic mess of simply parking the car to go in. The store was completely trashed and dirty. Very unorganized. It was so bad it looked like someone went in and purposely wreaked the store. Everything that should have been on a shelf or hung was all thrown on the floor. The amount of garbage dirt & dust on the floor was unreal. I tried to give it some grace considering it was just christmas a few days prior but honestly the condition of the store was not acceptable! To make matters worse, my 12 yr old son went and used the bathroom, that was also gross but as he was in there he was approached by a man asking him to help him with his jewelry!! I went in there to check on him because he was taking a long time and it was a very unsettling situation. I'm very upset about it and my son was freaked out. I like Target. It's clean. The employees are friendly. Stuff is always in stock and their variety is on par with Wal-Mart or anywhere else. I don't necessarily care for their prices because obvious items that we would buy everyday for our household are definitely more expensive at Target. They just are. There is absolutely no denying that. Some of the items are $0.20 - $1.30 more expensive. That may not seem like a lot, but obviously - it adds up. The upside to that is you obviously don't need to deal with the Wal-Martians and the stupidity that goes along with that. Depending upon the situation, time of day, day of the week and my mood and whether or not I'm up for dealing with a bunch of bullsh*t - I'd gladly pay a little more for the Target shopping experience. read more

I used to love shopping at this location prior to the remodel. Then they did away with cafe area and the fresh popped popcorn. They do have a self serve popcorn stand, but there is never any popcorn inside. I wish they would have done away with the Starbucks. If I wanted a $5 candy drink, I'd go to one of the other 20 locations within a 5 mile radius. Haven't been too impressed with their clothing since they did away with merona and mission. I used to love coming into target and I am not sure why it feels like it all went down hill after their huge remodel. First when you walk in it smells so bad, like sewage. My husband and I are expecting our first child and thought it would be fun to do a registry here. When we went in there was hardly even a maternity section for clothes and what the hell is their style supposed to be. It all seemed like little house on the prairie dresses. There was almost nothing stocked for baby essentials. Tried to set up the registry online through the app but majority of what we select never gets added in. Man that's the first time I've ever left a Target feeling sad. Right when you walk in it's underwhelming. A very tiny dollar section and just carts galore. I can usually wander a Target for hours and dream of all the crap I don't need that I will still purchase and full my house with. That was not the case. This Target is really gross! I wrote a review back in 2009 and it's still a dirty store! It's filthy and there are no self check out registers here. Seriously, for being located in a super busy shopping area, they need more cashiers too! The dollar section was terrible and not much selection compared to other Target stores. I even asked a nearby employee a very general question and she referred me to ask another employee. WTH?? (Just expect an "I don't know" answer, not "let me check for you." Terrible!) I remember shopping here every Sunday when they opened in the 90's and it was very nice. Recently came in and dealt with an employee named Beth who is absolutely incompetent. They must hire anyone off the street because. I was returning a tv mount because i didn't end up getting a tv so I i didn't need it. First off why would I take the time to install a mount for 2 weeks and then return it. This lady literally breaks the tape on the box and tells me I used the concrete anchors . Huh. She's out of her mind I never installed this and now she's telling me I need to keep it. I love Target. How can you not love Target. The store will definitely benefit from the remodel they just started, and I really hope they bring back the food court because my kids love the popcorn, Pizza Hut personal pizzas and icees. I have the RedCard, and love that 5% off. I buy a variety of items from Target, groceries, home decor, I go to the optical in the back of the store. Employees are always friendly, store is relatively clean although I'd like to acknowledge the lack of cleanliness sometimes is certainly just customers who don't pick up after themselves or puts items back where they find them.
