Home Goods is one of my favorite stores ever! My mom introduced me to this store many years ago while she was visiting. I honestly felt like I could have spent hours shopping in there. They have so much to see and such amazing prices. I have purchased so many beautiful things ranging from towels to beautiful furniture to art. As long as this store is around I will shop there. This location is dirty and very cluttered. There is way TOO much merchandise on the shelves and overflows onto the floor in the aisles. They need a BIGGER location with more square footage or stop piling so much merchandise on top of each other and restock when needed. Feels so claustrophobic. You feel like you are going to knock merchandise over because the aisles are narrow with excessive merchandise on the floor. Visual overload too. There are never enough cashiers staffed. I have observed usually 2 cashiers with a long line snaking down the aisle. Not all of the HM/TJMaxx locations are like this. Not a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I've been at this store many times for various things. Always had great service and friendly people there, NOT TODAY! Had Liz wait on us- no smile, no words, no kindness, no nothing. She looked disgusted with her life, disgusted that she was waiting on us and disgusted that we had the audacity to check out in her line. If this had been my first visit to this store- regardless of how many wonderful items they have here- I would never be back! First off, the store was very sloppy and is in need of some employees that are willing to actually organize and straighten things. But the real kicker was when I got to the register. Maureen, I believe was the name of the cashier and she was just straight up rude. She threw a metal candle into a painted bowl that I purchased and when I asked her if she could kindly wrap it, so it didn't damage the bowl, she threw it in a plastic bag and threw it back into the bowl. Based on that kind of behavior, I would never consider coming back here again. At the very least, she should be moved off of registers and put somewhere in the stockroom. read more

Yet another store that has sucked me in. Decorations galore! Right when you walk in there was a beautiful arrangement of Thanksgiving decor and dishes. I loved the selection of office furniture and Christmas items as well. Prices seemed decent for the most part, but I noticed the farther back in the store I got the more disorganized and chaotic it became. Shelves were in disarray and it was hard to even see what was really on them . I ended up bypassing most in fear of breaking something like I witnessed another woman do when trying to move something on one of the shelfs. My wife loves this place. Why? Why? (Shaking my head.) We were out and about today and decided to stop by here because she saw some curtains she wanted for our new house. Right when I walked in, I knew I wouldn't like the place. There were way too many people there, the aisles were small, and the selection of stuff was just odd. Chocolate covered cashews were sitting next to a throw pillow which was sitting next to a huge clock which was sitting next to a soap dispenser which was sitting next to some coffee from Belize. The setup was just really fucking weird and random shit was everywhere! I did purchase a pretty nice shower caddy thing for $12.00 plus the cashier was really friendly and gave my son a sticker. Those are the only reason this gets 2 stars. My wife can come back anytime she wants...I know for damn sure I personally won't be back! read more

You can get: Pillows, Blankets Children's toys and furniture Furniture for your house anything pet related (clothes, costumes, beds, toys, etc) specialty foods seasonal offerings (christmas trees, Halloween decor, etc) Gift boxes and wrapping paper Rugs Towels, Bath accessories Plates, cups, bowls, tableclothes See what I mean?! A lot of the items they offer are popular brand names and at amazing prices. I like to shop for gifts for my friends here because they are always unique. People always come over to our house and ask where we get our decor, the secret is Homegoods! For those of you who are worried you are cheating on Homegoods with other retailers like TJMAXX or Marshalls you are in luck, they are owned by the same parent company! You may find similar items at those stores but generally if I'm looking for bigger matching sets, I can find them at those other stores to complete it. The prices are amazing! I got the best pet halloween costumes for $10 which is cheaper than Petco or Petsmart. They occasionally get some amazing rugs in for half the price that are huge and worth the value. The only plus and minus to home goods is you just don't know what they will get in. So hopefully they will have what you are looking for but if not, they get weekly deliveries and luckily the staff will check their inventory if you want to call first before driving out. read more

Always changing, if you find something you like, buy it that day! Odds are it won't be there when you go back. There are some great deals to be found here. Everything for the home, and then some. Employees are super helpful. The clearance areas are spread out, and those deals are better. Most of the time it's small blemishes that are hard to spot. Great store, check the, out. Give them 2 tries before you write them off, because the inventory changes. Like the changing inventory, each store is different. They have a great selection of furniture, pillows, seasonal items, kitchen and much more. I like the size of this store and the amount of products they carry. Furniture wise, they have a huge selection of chairs, recliners, sofas, ottomans and much more. They also have lots of room accessories like lamps, stools, side tables, accents, art, mirrors etc. In the kitchen section they have tons of dish sets, pots, pans, bakeware, and gourmet food items like spices, oils, dips, chips, crackers and a decent selection of gourmet gluten free food items. This place is something of a mixed bag, both literally and figuratively, but is certainly worth checking out. You often find some of the most remarkable stuff here, sometimes at startlingly low prices, even though everything is brand new. Shopping here is kind of fun, in much the same way as perusing a thrift store, but without having to wade through trashy people or pick through second hand merchandise. As others have noted, what you see is what you get in terms of the name, because this is indeed a store full of goods for furnishing your home. Aside from the usual stuff (lighting, decor, rugs, bedding, kitchen and bath, etc.) they also have fairly decent selections of pet stuff and some pieces of furniture, along with seasonal offerings (Christmas, Halloween and the like). The best thing about this place though, in my humble opinion, is that you can often find diamonds in the rough. Just in the last few days, my wife and I stumbled across an entire cache of Georg Jensen branded Christmas ornaments, decorations and candle holders. Georg Jensen is Danish designer brand, and the ornaments were all made in Denmark and brand new. These are some of the most expensive decorations you can buy in Denmark, and the prices are usually sky high. Everything we found was at least 80% below retail price, brand new and in the original boxes. We ended up getting over $750 worth of Georg Jensen for a modest $145, out the door. And to be clear, I'm not talking "compare to" pricing provided by the store (which was more modest, surprisingly), but actual prices from Danish department store websites (e.g. Imerco). One gift set in particular retails for $225 and Homegoods had it marked down to $40 for clearance. On another trip, we happened upon some Scanpan branded cookware. This is another higher end brand, also made in Denmark, so another one of those gems I mentioned. We found both an 11" griddle pan and an 8" covered pot. From their own Scanpan website, retail on these was something like $135 just for the 8" pot, but Homegoods had it for $35. I believe the 11" griddle was also over $100, but only $40 at Homegoods. You can't do much better than that. If that wasn't enough, we also came across some Stelton (another Danish designer brand) decorations from their "Tangle" collection. A glass vase with copper-coated, stainless steel base, along with the matching decorative tray / bowl. Retail on these two pieces is north of $245, but they were $30 a piece (again, brand new like everything else in the store). More pertinent to the holidays, we found this location had a good selection of Asas Tomtebod branded Christmas gnomes. These are hand-made in Sweden and are quite popular holiday decorations throughout Scandinavia, but uncommon and typically extremely expensive stateside. We purchased a handful of these, from small to large, all less than half of retail price. Our best find was a very large, 35-inch tall "Olga" gnome, which we bought the day after Christmas for only $65 (half off on holiday stuff). Prior to that, it was only marked at $130, but nobody bought it even at that price, which was astonishing given that they retail for over $200. Last but not least, I was also able to snag some really nice steak knives from Laguiole, which are French made and ridiculously high quality. Two sets of six, each with their own beech wood storage block, retailing around $50, but Homegoods had them for $14 a piece! Also grabbed a matching Laguiole waiter's corkscrew. Those retail around $100, but it was only $24 here. As my old man says, that kind of deal is almost hard to take. Yes, the store is sometimes cluttered, and yes, more often than not, the organization is questionable. Is it Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? Not quite, but sometimes (especially with the holiday stuff) it comes close. Nevertheless, the types of deals you're able to get with a good eye make it more than worth it to stroll through now and then, even if you're not looking for anything in particular. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it. You're almost certain to find something interesting, and most of the people working there are pretty friendly too. read more

I mostly pop in here for unique items for my kitchen and small furniture pieces. I have purchased outdoor furniture replacement pads, neat little unique kitchen items, and bedding supplies. They always have neat little tchotchkes, unique little items to pick up for decoration or little gifts. As Sabrina said in 2018 the lines are too long and the isles are too narrow. I received an ad today that said Homegoods cares about your health and they are practicing safety measures in their stores. So I thought I'd go in today real quick just to look for a few things. I've always love this store but not the long lines. I don't know why I thought things would be different today. They have their long lines in the same place in the same direction they could move some goods out and make more room for people to stand in their long lines, they could also have more cashiers. They also could be more creative and allow customers to select goods, leave them in a basket, pay for them online and do curbside pickup later! Be creative! read more

This store is WAY cleaner than the one near us in Scottsdale and all of the products aren't torn or broken either. Everything was nicely placed and not all over the floors. This is one of my favorite stores to shop. Yet, this location is one that would benefit from being cordial to the customer when they inquire about their product. Upon my recent visit I asked one of the associates about their product. She seemed irritated and bothered to have to pause and answer. I use to make excuses for those who work in customer service of having to deal with many variables. Well...I went to another store after leaving HomeGoods and had a wonderful encounter with a person who worked in a similar environment. She was pleasant, unbothered and stopped to answer my question. This is the reason I don't shop only online. There are still people out there who enjoy their job and treat the customer with kindness. I hope you take this post and consider talking to the staff about taking a moment to answer a question from the customer without an attitude. This can be a benefit to your bottom line. read more
