Hot Topic never disappoints when it comes to quirky finds and cool tees and even while their main store is being remodeled, they're still delivering! This location is temporarily set up in a different spot within the mall, so the selection was slightly more limited than usual, but still solid. Both of my daughters managed to find unique shirts they absolutely love, which is no small feat given their very different styles. What really stood out, though, was the service, super friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The staff was quick to answer questions and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. The people here we so nice, my sister and I (both teens) walked in looking for merch from artists we like. Immediately we saw Olivia Rodrigo pins and we decided to grab them. A worker immediately noticed our interest in the OR merch and led us to more OR stickers and pins. She also helped my sister with Conan Gray merch as well. She was sooo very nice. The cashier lady was super nice as well and helped me set up an account with my phone number. I unfortunately did not get the names of these wonderful people, but the treatment and experience of our visit was so great that I needed to write a review. I am a very indecisive person and the staff here were beyond excellent. I came in earlier to pick up an order and the staff here were fabulous, particularly Moose, Mia and Terra helped me pick the right outfit for me and walk me through why sizes are different between boys and girls. I lost a lot of weight and as someone who wants to show off their skinniness I come to realize girls clothing helps accentuate that thin figure while boys clothing are just square. You know? And they help me understand that the larger size for girls is the same for guys. On top of that, the next day when I tried on the order I ordered I realized that the hoodie I got was too small but I wasn't so sure. So I came back and another employee Heleigh with the help of Kya help me decide which size was better, turns out a medium LOL, And help me exchange my hoodie for a larger size. Natalie, the manager was extremely professional, helpful and patient with me. Once again, I'm very indecisive and they helped me bring some decisiveness and comfort into the decisions I made in the store If you ever have any questions with your style or fashion or something you want, the people here are fantastic staff members and once again it's a Hot topic. I mean the selection is excellent, right? You know what you're getting into, but these staff definitely made me feel more comfortable with what I wanted to get into. today i was able to find exactly what i was looking for (in this instance, clothes that are compatible with hotter weather since i still haven't gotten adjusted to the hellish phoenix heat)! as a precaution, try not to shop here on saturdays unless you like an extremely cramped and crowded experience! thankfully i was able to get in and out after i got what i wanted in less than ten minutes. as mentioned previously, i docked a star because of how packed it was. things usually go smoother whenever i come during a weekday right after the mall opens. despite this hiccup, the service was stellar! our cashier was very friendly and i was able to use my hot cash for my purchase. this is my favorite hot topic location due to its consistency, and i can't wait to make another visit soon! :3 read more

There's several customer service reps available at any given time. If they don't have it in the store, they will order it for you. We love our hot topic. read more

I was helped and the workers were nice, but I experienced some difficulties. I debated if I should buy my items in store or online, and figured I'd just go in store. Little did I know that the items are way cheaper online, but I thought that it was my fault since I could've bought it online. I called the store to ask why it was different after spending $70 on just a few small items. They mentioned that they do price matches, which I was unaware of, and they also did not use the coupon I had under my phone number. I went in to return the items, and figured I'd buy them online another time, but the manager told me I was not allowed to do so. Definitely recommend looking online and ordering online instead of going in store if you want to save money!!! read more

I remember back in the day when Hot Topic and Spencers seemed like different stores. Today, I can't really tell a difference as they kind of sell the same weird kind of crap. I went with a friend and they didn't have what they were looking for. This hot topic is so roomy. The ones I usually go to are small and cramped. The workers here are so helpful! I had one help me find a dress for almost half an hour today. Was really above and beyond. They also more often than not have bigger sizes in stock which is a rarity. read more

I was in there yesterday trying to find some Christmas presents for my sister, no one helped me at all the store was Chaotic. I only found one thing and when I went to go wait in line I was standing for about 3 mins already and then guy rung up someone who had just walked up. At that point I was so frustrated but I was patient. Then when he rung me up he was extremely rude to me and said "you know the line was over there right" I said yes I've been standing there for quite sometime, he responded with "k" he did not ask me if I found everything alright and when he want to give me the bag he practically threw it at me . I used to go here all the time when I lived in Glendale to buy cool stuff. But the best thing about the store was the rocker chic assistant manager who used to work there. She was piping hot crazy gorgeous. We were good friends. I don't know what ever became of her, but anyone who shopped there and knew her knows what I'm talking about. She was incredibly breathtaking to look at, yet so friendly, approachable, and down to earth. She usually had her long black hair in French braid pigtails, and had the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen in my life. Plus she had the most amazing gigantic rack in all of the Phoenix area.
