Today is the very first time calling Walgreens that someone picked up after holding for only 2 minutes. I spoke to Summer who is the kindest, caring, professional and friendliest customer service rep I have ever spoke to. I gave her all my information. She quickly responded yes I have that prescription and I'll get it ready for you. I was sooo happy. I thanked her for her quick response. She stated she'd try and get it ready for today but would it be okay for tomorrow? It was 30 mins to closing I said no problem. But she actually did get it ready for today and sent me a notification! This was the best outcome EVER!! Thank you Summer. Only if the others were more like you I wouldn't have switched my prescriptions to CVS! read more

I have used this specific Walgreens forever for all my medical needs. Usually never have an issue. Y'all normally take awhile, which is whatever, but the reason for my review today is that I was notified that my prescription was ready. So I got there 40 minutes after it was ready and they told me it wasn't even in stock. Fix. Your fucking. Notification system. And the chick working the drive thru had an attitude and didn't understand my frustration, which they then called another location and had it fulfilled there and they got it ASAP. May switch locations or just pharmacies in general. Fuckin ridiculous service. read more

I've been coming here for 13years and the staff here are always SUPER helpful and kind but today I want to talk about Theresa. The tech at the pharmacy has really gone above and beyond today. We have been batting with our Drs office for a week to properly submit the Rx to our insurance literally nothing to do with the pharmacy but Theresa helped us sort it out and even when we finally got the Rx through it was out of stock but Theresa made sure to send it to another Walgreens and had it ready for us within an hour. After dealing for a week with the Drs office not doing their part it was such a relief to have someone so efficient and helpful. Thank you Theresa! read more

They do not have the floors marked correctly for social distancing while in line. They do not enforce social distancing while in line, as the guy behind me is literally breathing on my neck. My guess is he had chicken fajitas for lunch. They do not understand a sense of urgency. My cashier was insistent on handing me a receipt when I was walking away and said I didn't need one. Then she insisted on handing me a $5 off $20 purchase coupon AND EXPLAINING IT as if I couldn't read and as if I wasn't acting like I was in a hurry. The cashier across from me finished a transaction, saw the next lady with a sleeping baby on her shoulder and decided to do her (non-refrigerated) go-backs right then. She came back after only a few mins, but everyone with a sleeping baby knows at any given moment, calm sleeping baby can disappear and woken fussy baby can appear. Sleeping baby customer handed her cashier the diapers, money & rewards card all at once. That cashier decided to not help out and hand back the rewards card and tell her to swipe it. Again, with sleeping baby, you don't exactly have two free hands...a little help swiping that card would have been nice. Then, that cashier also took forever bagging and getting change. Don't shop at this location if you have somewhere to be or if you are in any kind of hurry. read more

This Walgreens looks like it seen too many winters.. all run down and stuff. The staffs working is always friendly and they all will greet you as you are coming in. Please don't greet me when I'm on a mission. They will always want me to sign up for crap for cosmetics... hello I'm not interested in that crap, and I careless for the bonus points. Their prices are ridiculously high even with their Walgreens card... you must be a fool to pay 50cents for the basic chicken or beef flavour cup of noodles. You can go to the local grocery store and pay a quarter or less for the more exotic flavours like roasted chicken, and spicy shrimp, and cheddar cheese.......I don't recommend that one unless you want the Hershey Squirts for a week, and much much more to choose from. However if you are wise, they do have some really good deals at times. 2 Arizona ice tea for a dollar, and occasional random candy bars for 69cents. Overall a typical Walgreens that is pretty clean and organised. Super friendly staffs. read more

I called today to have my prescription refilled. I have been getting my prescriptions from RiteAid for nearly a decade, originally in NC, and now in ME (York, ME). When I first transferred my prescription from NC to ME I had no problems. When I was in vacation in NC and had to get my scripts refilled, I had no problem. But today, I had a problem. The woman who answered the phone told me it would be an ORDEAL for her, because she had to contact the last pharmacy I was refilled at. She no longer had my prescriptions in her data base. Now, I understand that RiteAid has become Walgreens, and filling prescriptions in different locations might cause some confusion, but there is NO REASON it should cause an attitude, and that is what I got today. And that is why you will have no more business from me. Sidenote: I originally started going to Riteaid because the pharmacists at the Walgreens I went to first were also rude. Just left Walgreens where I commented to the clerk that I had purchased a product at a grocery store yesterday and paid substantially less than Walgreens offers it. The sassy clerk smiled and responded that you always have to pay more at Walgreens for the convenience of not going to a grocery store. Perhaps that is true, but it is very poor customer service to say that to a customer. I will NEVER take advantage of that "convenience" again at Walgreens. read more

Went in to make a purchase. Two ladies accompanied me. One was pregnant and not feeling well. Asked to use the bathroom. Was refused twice and rudely. Ine actually said We don't have time to open it for you. I was in line to make a purchase and had to put it down and leave and drive a mile so she could use the bathroom. If you want to go pick up your RX's, you will have to go twice because they lose one of or both of them. They cannot update their system with the correct information and they lose the prescriptions. I know because I have updated my information three times. Went to pick up two prescriptions today that I verified with the doctors office and they stated (AGAIN) we only got one. Guess what, my information was from where I lived until 2013??? (The information that I changed three times!!!)When I tried to get the pharmacy lady to look under the other/correct information she acted as though I had already walked away and began a conversation with a co worker. So, we start off the day after surgery without the much needed antibiotic. I work a full time job and I have excellence customer service skills because my employer pays me to do that. I know Covid has made things difficult. But if you are working, and making money, Do it right! Make sure your employees know you have standards. Or has all the work ethics been lost to Covid? On Monday June 9, 2014 I had a computer printed prescription filled at your pharmacy. (I had been getting all of my prescriptions filled there as I suffer from Fibromyalgia and I am also a chronic asthmatic haven been intubated 7 times.) Haven taken the prescriptions daily for 5 days I decided to Google the medications because I was having a hard time focusing and was feeling drugged, sleepy and very depressed I had never experienced that before while taking antibiotics. To my shock I found that instead of giving me Levoflazacin I was given levetiracetam an anti-seizure, anti epileptic medication. Of course I phoned the pharmacy and they found they had made an error and then had me come in to get the correct medication. BUT, that was a very dangerous error. I also phoned my doctor and explained your error and was told that because of the high dosage 750mg I must be weaned off because to just stop could now cause me to seizure. Your pharmacist did give me a half hearted apology but because of his nonchalant attitude it leads me to think he found it no big thing and maybe they make these kind of errors frequently. As I said this script was computer printed so not being able to read it was impossible ... this was just incompetence. read more

Had to take the time to say the positive about this Walgreens!! For the first time I enter a Walgreens store and for the first time I run into someone who is smiling and happy to be at work!! He is the store manager name Matthew.. he was smiling and greeted me very nicely and you can tell he is happy to be there!! Walgreens should be very lucky to have an employee like him who care and wants to be there!! He also went above and beyond to assist and answered my question!! The pharmacy at this location is horrible. There is an abundance of pharmacy's to go to and I would think that they might care about the customer service. They Don't! I was called a liar and put in hold as i was in mid sentence. Because of their mess up and lack of follow thru I get to pay full price for my son's prescription. Please whatever you do go somewhere else. They need to be replaced!!! read more

Walgreens healthcare clinic is a waste of time and your money! I went in explaining that I head a severe headache and was taking Aleve and tried other NSAIDS. After being asked a bunch of computer based questions like I could have completed on WEBMD I received a RX that is equivalent to Aleve! Literally - I could have stayed at home and saved my time waiting and money on a co-pay for the nurse practitioner and the pharmacy. I don't recommend this as a healthcare clinic- they didn't help! The pharmacy staff members were nice and the staff in the store were friendly, always heard them greeting people as they walked in. This one star is not on the Walgreens itself but on the lack of quality care of the clinic and not given something to help me with a headache! Certainly there is something stronger than NSAIDs that could be helpful after a week of horrible headaches that interfere with daily life. One of the WORST pharmacies ever! I live near here (for many years) and have used them ONLY because of the location. I am now moving ALL my prescriptions elsewhere.... EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to refill a med I have been on since 1999 IT IS NOTHING BUT A MAJOR HASSLE ! They can't seem to co-ordinate their phone system with their email system etc. I only recently found out that THEY USE A CALL CENTER WHICH IS A HUGE PART OF THE PROBLEM ! Last time I went to refill they kept trying to blame my Dr.s office and when I called my Dr. they have this same issue with Walgreens ALL THE TIME ! I AM SO SICK OF DEALING WITH THEM THERE I AM MOVING EVERYTHING TO THE CLOSEST CVS to me. I called CVS to see if they use a 'call center' for their scripts and they DO NOT. I HATE THIS WALGREENS, AND there is a pharmacy tech there who has a REALLY BAD ATTITUDE all the time! When you call this store you don't realize that you are actually NOT talking to the store... but to a call center nowhere near your store that you THOUGHT you were talking to !!!
