This pharmacy is the best! The people are always so helpful and friendly. By far the fastest…read morepharmacy I've ever seen too! Blew me away. Every time I've gone they've told me it would be 10 minutes and no joke, ONE MINUTE LATER it was ready. And this happens all the time! Prices are some of the best around and they offer a free delivery service which I love. Hours are very reasonable especially considering it's a smaller pharmacy. I believe it's 9am-6pm but don't quote me on that. Totally worth checking out. You'll never want to go anywhere else!

excellent service --- prescriptions filled quickly, pharmacist had a very professional disposition…read more it was a positive enough experience that I logged on specifically to write a review of this pharmacy. in recent weeks, I have needed to visit multiple pharmacies to get my monthly medication filled (my normal pharmacy, which is in the same building as my doctor - the only reason I go there, was out of both meds I needed, and so, I was forced to run around to other pharmacies to try and get my maintenance medication filled. half the pharmacies I tried wouldn't tell me over the phone whether they had the medication, so I had to come in for them to say "no, we don't have it", and the others were generally rude or dismissive, with the worst being Costco, in Glen Burnie, who told me it was my fault I didn't have my meds because a didn't go to the regular pharmacy I usually do (that was out of the medication in the first place!!!) in any case - I had an appointment with my neurologist, who is in the same building as Caremed pharmacy, so I decided to give them a try. I was very glad I did. 1) Very pleasant greeting upon arriving in the store. 2) From time to drop off to pickup of prescription was 12 minutes, which I consider excellent. there was only one pharmacy on duty, and he had to serve another customer while I was waiting, or else it would've been even quicker. (as a side item, the pharmacist did not have the medication the other customer wanted, but, he was very polite throughout the encounter, just as he was polite to me during the visit.) 3) No problems with insurance, prescription was filled correctly (surprising that I should have to mention that -- have had an incorrectly filled prescription twice in 2014 And once in 2015. no "sorry", no nothing, just a "you're bothering me" exchange trying to get what I should've had originally.. 4) Nasir Mahmood (sp), the pharmacist, took the time to explain how to take each medication I got filled; explaining when during the day would give maximum benefit, and whether I should take with food, water, etc. (it's rare to get even a "Thank you" or "have a good day" at other pharmacies, many of whom act like they're doing you a favor by filling the prescription your doctor told you to get... it took 15 seconds for Nasir to give me that information, but I will return to his (small, independent) pharmacy because he did so... 5) On check out, Nasir reminded me of how many refills I had left, number to call when I needed more medication, etc. 6) The store was very quiet --- no insanely loud elevator music like in most stores. that alone was a welcome respite... Actually being in a store without being accosted by "music" almost felt wrong, but it was very nice... in general, I try and patronize smaller, independent stores. I find the service is usually better. this experience was no exception - so much so that I took the time to write this review - since I had so many bad experiences in recent weeks. I don't know why pharmacists/pharmacy assistants feel they have to treat you like and imposition to their day when you are the reason for them being there in the first place, but, it's no picnic finding a place that has a professional attitude, has the meds you take in stock generally, and treats you like you actually matter.
