Also, the pharmacy has caused me many headaches, particularly in failing to inform me that they changed the brand of my prescription due to recalls at pickup. As often as I come here, I finally encountered what others have complained about. The young lady (Sharissa) in the pharmacy was completely rude and walked away when I was asking a question to 'verify' or 'recap' the issues discussed. If you are too young to understand that recapping is a way to ensure you have all the correct information so I don't have to come back later with more questions, then you need to get another job...and not in customer service! She really needs to learn how to service customers better! read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Multiple experiences with "doctor did not call it in" BS. Several times the docs had to call 2-4 times. Also multiple times CVS does not have the courtesy to call and tells us they are out of stock and will be X number of days.. Even with important scrips. Can't ever get through on the phone. And even when the recoding says they will be ready at "6", they are OR that's when you find out they don't even have it. Done hear moving to WAG. OMG! This should be deemed MEDICAL MALPRACTICE!!! This pharmacy is run by carnival staff. I had an Rx that was supposed to be ready a week ago. I went in two days ago and the lady said it was in the system. I left and called the store from home. The guy that answered (pharmacist, I believe) said it was the Rx was in the system, but that the lady didn't understand the system. He promised it would be ready last night. I came today and they couldn't find it again! WTF kind of third world pharmacy is this??? A cartel would run it better and more efficiently. I have a theory. The pharmacy employees are among the rudest people I've ever encountered. We stood at the window for five full minutes while two women, who clearly saw us, studiously avoided acknowledging our presence. Finally, we gave up and left and went to Wegmans. I've been a CVS customer at other locations probably longer than these stuck up, bad attitude, uncaring individuals have been alive, and I've never experienced such willful disregard of customer service anywhere else. I recently moved to Gambrills and tried to locate a Rite Aid pharmacy, however the closest one is in Severna Park. So, I found out that Target beside me in the Waugh Chapel Town Center has a CVS. Well so far the service has been horrible. I submitted 2 prescriptions for me and one for my daughter 9 days ago and all are still pending. No updates on when the scripts will be filled or why the delay. The one for my daughter is Flonase which is a basic allergy nasal spray. At Rite Aid we never had to wait literally scripts would be filled same day they were sent over yet 2 weeks almost and I still am no closer to getting them filled. I did ask the pharmacist if she could transfer the prescription to another location which she said she would if they requested it. Never again, thinking Wegmans may be a better option. read more

This pharmacy is an absolute disgrace and should lose their license to dispense medication. I just waited 40 minutes in line to get an Rx that I need by today that was prescribed yesterday. I was told that they are 7 days behind on filling prescriptions. 7 DAYS!!!! Imagine how chronically understaffed a pharmacy has to be to fall that far behind. If you want your Rx "expedited" then you have to call to request. Here's the rub: when you call, you can expect to be on hold for 30 minutes. So you have to get prescribed your Rx and then call and sit on hold... and wait... and wait... and wait... just to have a prescription filled properly and timely. So the insufficient staffing resources they do have are wasting their time answering phones to deal with people who know the process requires you to call to have the prescription expedited. They are a model of inefficiency. For a dying business model that only survives on their prescription dispensary, CVS sure does not appear to be trying to resolve the problem. Also, if you go inside and stare behind the counter, it looks like the floor has not been cleaned in months. I have seen roaches on the floor and one staff member in particular does not realize that face masks go OVER the nose. The whole operation is a joke from A to Z. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE. read more

I really WANT to like this pharmacy, their customer service is slipping. Because I'm a caregiver, I can compare to Wegmans, Walgreens, and Safeway. New leadership is not friendly and could care less about your order. The automated system has more interest in me than they do. I want them to succeed, but who will mentor them on the importance of good service. I recently had an expensive order. They took my money, but I got the feeling they didn't order my meds. Go to Brandermill inside the Target it's worth the 5 extra minute drive. They don't have their stuff together I don't think they ever did. They never seem to have my prescription, they either haven't verified with my doctor or it's on back order or they're 2 months behind on everything. I don't know who the manager is there but the store is awful, management is awful and it's been a lonnnng time since I've had a smooth experience at the pharmacy here. read more

My husband went in to get a shingles vaccination. He had a prescription from his doctor. He took the prescription to the drop off counter and was told to wait and they would call him. A few minutes later his name was called and he was given a form to fill out. He completed the form and gave it back to the technician and was told to wait again. About 5 minutes later his name was called, he was given a receipt and told to wait again. After another 10 minute wait, his name was called again and when he went to the counter the pharmacist told him to have a seat and she would be with him in a few minutes. 4 times he was told to wait and 3 of those times after his name was called. You would think that when the pharmacists calls your name and you are given a receipt they would have your prescription ready not call you 4 times and tell you to wait. On another note, I had a question and went to the consultation window. I was not acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. Finally a tech looked up saw me but went back to whatever she was doing. Not even a "we will be with you in a minute" Very poor service read more

We used to get our prescriptions filled at the Shoppers pharmacy across the street, but when they closed our prescriptions were automatically transferred to this store, so we gave them a try. This place is terrible! The employees move like sloths, they look like they hate working there! There is always a line, then after standing in line for about 20 minutes it seems that our prescriptions are never ready on time and they ask you to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for them to fill it, then once it's ready, you have to stand in line again! It's just terrible, never seen anything like it, wish the Shoppers pharmacy was still open! read more

I'm torn on this CVS. On the one hand, they are a 24-hour drugstore AND pharmacy, which always is handy to have in your neighborhood. Super convenient, especially in case of any medicinal emergencies. On the other hand, the store (while convenient) does not have a tremendous selection of non-pharmaceutical items. I'm kind of okay with this, since I don't need them to act as my grocery store as well. But, if you're going to make the effort, you should go all the way instead of halfway. Offering me a scant selection of overpriced items is not very convenient. Still, they have good sales from time to time, and you can probably find anything and everything you would need from the medical aisles. They have run out of certain medications from time to time (when the Giant next door did not have the same issue). So, it's a crap shoot depending on your medicinal needs. I'm still a fan, though, but they could use a clean up now and then. The trash can out front is usually overfull, and the carpet inside is pretty heinous. Minor quibbles next to the convenience of the all-day-all-night pharmacy; I still love that most of all. read more

Due to the absolute uselessness of the Pharmacy and it's staff I drive an extra mile to the Rite aid/Walgreens. These people are terrible. I've been here on two occasions and both times they didn't have the medication in-stock. Both times I was told to try back another time. Both times I asked to "drop off" my prescription and both times I was told that I couldn't. The second time I asked, "if every time I come you're out of stock and I cannot drop it off, how am I supposed to get my medication"? I was literally told that I can go to another pharmacy, so that's exactly what I did. Awesome business model CVS, send your customers to your competition. read more

Went in for a flu shot and it was easy. A small amount of waiting time for the pharmacist who had a great touch.

Do NOT go to this Pharmacy! They are NOT focused on customer service! Nor do they understand that if you are there to get a prescription the stress you may be under as the customer. They should offer alternatives/ solutions such as, " you should check GoodRx.com for a prescription code or ask your doctor to provide a coupon code for this medication," Instead they tell you the price of your medication with the demeanor of "do you want it or not". EVERYTIME!!!! and I do mean EVERYTIME!!! I drop off the same prescription, which I am unable to fill before the 30 day period, this pharmacy takes another 2-3 days to fill the prescription and we have to go without for a day or two. My issue is... they don't tell me when I drop the prescription off. They call me 3-4 hours later to inform me that it will take a couple of days to fill the prescription. At that time - I have to decide if I am going to pick the prescription up and take it to another pharmacy or wait for them to fill it. After all of that... I go to pick up the prescription and the woman that helped me (not sure that's the right word) was not helpful at all! and when I called back to provide a coupon code after going home to research, make calls etc. She was dismissive and did not seem to understand my reluctance to come to back to CVS to have another unfruitful conversation. I wanted to make sure the next time I arrived I would be leaving WITH the medication in hand not talking about why the coupon code didn't work. After she jotted down the coupon code... I asked for the new price and she said ... "I would have to apply the coupon in order to tell you what the price would be"... I started to think it was a joke. Yes! that's the idea! I want to know the cost before I drive to the CVS and am again unpleasantly surprised. I'll end by saying this... with everything going on in the world today, these people need to be a little more understanding, kindness is FREE! and customer service is part of your JOB! You know the job that you have and others may not be as fortunate right now... yes, that job! My sister work as a pharmacy technician for CVS for SEVERAL years. Two observations... when you hire people that do not have customer service skills it a recipe for disaster. CVS suffers from knowing that their customers are at a disadvantage because we need the service (medication). The reality is... you can make the biggest impact on someone in those moments where they do feel vulnerable and in need... Customer service could make all the difference in the world. Do not get a prescription filled here. I did an online refill to be picked up at 7 pm. My husband got there at at 7:10, and he didn't leave until 7:50. It was for a tube of yeast diaper rash cream so it was not even complicated. I don't care that this is the closest pharmacy to our house. I will find anywhere else. read more

This pharmacy is so bad that I saw it had 1.5 half stars on here and I was surprised the rating was that high. If you get your scripts filled here, make sure you clear your schedule for an hour before you decide to go pick it up. If there's more than a few people in line and you have somewhere to be anytime soon, just try again later. I also have no idea when they're actually open. Sometimes I show up and they're just randomly closed. read more

This is easily the worst pharmacy I've been to in my life. The wait times are always extremely long. The pharmacist is extremely condescending. The pharmacy in general always gives me the runaround or just gives me all together wrong information. You can also barely get in contact with this pharmacy unless you actually come to the pharmacy as they refuse to answer the phone. read more

The CVS in Crofton was my go to pharmacy for years. Great service, auto refilling, quickly contacted Drs for prescription renewals. Assistance was reachable via phone. Unfortunately, the service has changed dramatically. Auto refills are not occurring, contacting Drs for renewals take too long, and I've received slow, rude and dismissive communications from some of the staff. They also do not answer the phone in a timely manner. It's a shame, but I will soon undertake moving prescriptions elsewhere despite the convenience of the location. read more

As always, the staff at the Minute Clinic were thorough and efficient. My son complained of ear pain when I got hone from work. Was able to get a quick appointment in less than 20 mins ( just enough time to drive to the store). The NP, Amina, called me just a few minutes before we arrived and completed a quick prescreen interview. We got right in as we arrived. Amina was thorough and very friendly. My son felt at ease! We were in and out with the prescription we needed! Amina was fantastic!! read more

Made an appointment for a shingles vaccine a while back after my covid vaccination was effective. Found out my prescription was too old - my bad. I was told to come back anytime and it wouldn't be a problem. Got my prescription and came back Sunday evening. Made an appointment In the app while waiting on service. As I finished making it, they came to serve me and asked me to come back during the week as they were busy. Came back at 11 Monday, made an appointment while waiting to be served, and first thing they said is they weren't sure if they had it. Then it would be 30 minutes before they could do it. No one in line at this point but I suppose they are busy filling prescriptions. Years ago this pharmacy gave great service. Now every time I come (even before covid) they have staffing shortages and long lines/waits. Be aware and plan accordingly or find a better pharmacy. The people are nice enough especially when you are respectful of their situation, but clearly they are not being given enough resources to provide good customer service. read more
