Today I had the pleasure of meeting Allison and Carly when they gave my elderly mother with dementia her Covid and flu shots. Allison and Carly were so incredibly kind and patient with my mother, and they had her taken care of so quickly! My mother got the exact flu shot that she needed for her age and she normally complains about the soreness afterwards, but she hasn't said a word. These ladies know what they're doing! I would definitely recommend this pharmacy because the staff is so amazing. read more

We have had nothing but amazing experiences here and have been using this pharmacy for over 4 years. We previously had been working with big name pharmacies when we had a major issue and left us wanting better service and a personalized experience. This is exactly what we got at Arnold Professional Pharmacy. They are able to compound which has been especially helpful with young children. If there's ever something we need to talk through with the pharmacist, they are thoughtful, responsive, and helpful. To me, they have been a great extension of our healthcare team for our family. I would highly recommend that you consider supporting a local business and come here to receive exceptional service. Neil and Allison are wonderful team members that we have enjoyed working with! read more

This has been my pharmacy for over a decade. As a transgender woman, I'm sure you can appreciate that navigating healthcare in the United States can be difficult and I need to put my health in the hands of people with empathy and understanding versus closed minded people who are living in the past. I have never felt any kind of pressure or discomfort here as a customer. The service here is top notch: the staff knows everyone by first name, they're incredibly courteous and conscientious, and if they can't fill a prescription for you they will work diligently to find a pharmacy close by who can. They also understand that insurance can be tricky and the cost of maintaining health in America presents its own challenges, so while they can't dictate the cost of medications, they try to make it as easy and as painfree as humanly possible to get what you need. They also have a solid selection of other things you might need in a pinch and are super knowledgeable about the pros and cons between different brands / products. Not to mention they also have little things like a section dedicated to the community featuring books from local authors. I respect that a lot. When people talk about the benefits of choosing smaller local businesses over bigger companies, I immediately think of places like this little pharmacy. My experience here is that they really care about their backyard and those of us who live here. read more

If ten stars were available, I'd give it to Arnold Pharmacy! By far, it is the best service anyone could expect. Fast, courteous and reliable. I'll be moving from the Arnold area soon but will still return here for my Rx needs. read more

Bottom Line: A reliable family owned pharmacy with great service located in the Arnold Station shopping center. I waited way too long to start getting prescriptions filed at Arnold Professional Pharmacy. This is a wonderful business that is friendly, professional and customer focused. I've visited Arnold Professional Pharmacy several times in recent months and on every visit service was prompt and friendly. Service over the phone is equally as delightful. The parking lot can get busy with lots of people coming and going from the various businesses in the shopping center but there is always plenty of parking. read more

Always a pleasant experience. The staff is always welcoming. It's very clean and organized and I'm always in and out with no long wait.

Awesome, amazing, great customer service. I appreciate a small local business that cares about their clientele. Thumbs up, good job as usual. Highly recommended. read more

Arnold Professional Pharmacy is truly professional in every aspect of service. Timely to fill prescriptions, and best of all, no wait to pick up and easy parking. Need shots, no problem, make an appointment no wait. Took too long to find. read more

Over the past 15+ years my family and I have been amazed by the level of service that continues to improve year over year at this pharmacy. As a business owner myself I know the effort an owner must put in to be successful. It begins with the people. The team that works here are a great group of people. Keep up the good work. We appreciate that you've kept it friendly, local, and always professional. read more

The owners and employees are nothing short of amazing! I use them for my own prescriptions and what I can get covered for my parents. We were in a bind when my father was discharged and needed a very expensive medication. Not only did their regular, retail pharmacy not have it in stock but would have paid hundreds of dollars, whenever they could get it. Arnold had it in stock as part of a donation program and we got it that night at no cost. Thank you to the person that kindly donated this to our family as well. Highly recommended and I send everyone here that I can! Thanks for all you do! read more

The staff are all very helpful, and if there is another customer at the counter, often a pharmacist will call me over to the side counter, getting us all taken care of faster. I'm not in a hurry when I go pick up my cat's prescription, but it's nice for the sake of COVID safety. I also really like the selection of over the counter medicines etc and the ease of proper disposal of expired meds since I have been decluttering and organizing. read more

I've been using Arnold Pharmacy for years. The staff is always super friendly, professional, consultative, courteous, and discreet. It's always nice to see a small, local business thrive as they continue to grow. They continue to set the bar high and make it really easy to not go with a more corporate pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens. read more

I used to be a customer at Annapolis professional pharmacy for my basically whole life until I moved over to the Arnold area about four years ago. The staff is so friendly and helpful at Arnold professional pharmacy, I get all my vaccines and prescriptions filled there. They have convenient hours and they also fill prescriptions quickly so I don't have much waiting time. I am very happy to be a loyal Arnold professional pharmacy customer! read more

I have never written a review ever but my experience today was so awful I couldn't let it go. I have always loved this place and thought they were helpful but, I had a terrible experience today. I was asking a question to the lady at the register helping me about my prescription, and another blonde lady not even wearing a pharmacy outfit started yelling from the back about my question. She was very rude and unhelpful, and I don't know if I'll want to return back here after today. I am disappointed as this was supposed to be the friendly pharmacy and my experience today was completely opposite. read more

After being told at another pharmacy my son's prescription would take almost a week I decided to give this place a try. I didn't try it originally because they don't have a drive thru which makes things easier for me with kids. I had a great experience! They were friendly and helpful and filled my Rx in 10 minutes while I waited. They even take TRICARE which is awesome. It was nice to do business with a small business and get treated like a person and not a number. The plaza is also easy to get into and back onto Ritchie which is nice. read more

Arnold PP is outstanding. Customer service with a smile. Warm friendly folks. My Daughter sent me to them and I have been so happy. Emails to remind me that I have Rxs and the costs. Arnold Professional Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Arnold, Maryland

Better customer service is often my main motivation when seeking out small, local businesses. It's difficult for me to sacrifice the convenience of larger chains when I can't find a small, local substitute that provides great service. I moved to the other side of the Severn River (to Annapolis) and I still use this pharmacy. The stellar level of service provided by Arnold Professional Pharmacy more than makes up for the longer-than-necessary drive across the Severn River Bridge. The entire staff is prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Recently, my insurance changed. When I went to refill a prescription, the staff member found out that the new insurance provider required pre-authorization (proof of medical necessity) before filling the prescription. Without having to ask, she immediately sent the necessary forms to my doctor and obtained the pre-authorization. In the meantime, they filled the prescription and billed me the full cost of the prescription. The very next day I received a call from the pharmacy to let me know that the pre-authorization had gone through and they had placed a credit on my account for the portion that was covered by insurance. That kind of uninitiated follow up is so rare these days. Yeah, a CVS was just built across the street, but if you live in the area there is absolutely no reason to use any pharmacy other than Arnold Professional Pharmacy. read more

After Safeway across the street being redone I was less than satisfied with their new pharmacy. (http://www.yelp.com/biz/safeway-pharmacy-arnold#hrid:FcvA9S_6dU5TmD0f46o8tA) Not knowing where to go I was completely thrilled to learn that my favorite Pharmacists had picked up and opened their own location right across the street in Arnold Station Shopping Center. Their staff is ones I've known since I was a small child, and my Mother even goes in there and they remember her name. They are so sweet, and will find the best prices on medications for you even when your insurance isn't helping. I get my flu shots here and they also have a small convenience center area in case you forgot common items at home. read more

I drive all the way from Fort Meade to have my medicines filled here. This is the only pharmacy I have been to where everyone is extremely polite, my medicines are always filled in less than 10 minutes (usually 5), and the owners are kindhearted, devoted, honest local people. I just don't understand some of the other ratings on here unless they have mistaken the name of the shop. There is NO way this pharmacy deserves anything less than 5 stars. When you walk in you see pictures of local history and are greeted with an immediate hello. The owner displays local written work on the counter, along with a local lip balm (which is the best lip balm I've ever used), they keep their probiotics refrigerated, and they sell anything you could possibly need. The one day I brought my son in the owner gave him free candy and talked to him about his day at school. My son left with the biggest smile on his face and still has fond memories of his visit. Also, if on the very rare chance they cannot fill the entire order, they will deliver the rest to your home! I've never been to a pharmacy like this, and though it's a bit of a distance for me I will always continue to use and appreciate their services. 5 stars all the way! read more

Neil is great. I followed him & Trish from Safeway when I found them many years ago. They are friendly, helpful, professional & most of all they care. They care about their customers as people, as a pharmacy family. They set my medicine up for a monthly pick up since I have so many medications & if needed they deliver. As I get older I need this help. Neil is fantastic. Over the years he has helped me navigate Drs, prior auth's, med changes, insurance, etc to make sure I got the medications I need. He has let me know when medications didn't mix & so much more. Thank you Neil & Arnold Professional pharmacy. Thank you to everyone at Arnold Professionalism pharmacy. You are all wonderful & make my life healthier & easier to navigate all the medications. I thank all the staff their for their kindness, help & professionalism. read more

Where can you go and be guaranteed to be cared for by your pharmacist? Neal and Colleen and techs take such amazing care of their customers, bending over backwards to provide highly rated pharmaceutical advice. They treat their customers as family not just another number- Neal will always have mine and my families business besides- they're local read more

This place is amazing. They deliver with no fees and no hassle. The driver has brought medicine in anticipation of snow storms, holidays, etc, no problem. We moved, forgot to change the address, called the pharmacy, and medicine was here two hours later. You would be dead in Walgreens and CVS drive through by the time your medicine was ready. Want to change your address at CVS or Walgreens? By the time you get a live person on the phone to change your address, your medicine will have expired and then they'll tell you it's not in the system next time. There's a reason this is called a professional pharmacy! read more

The pharmacy when they first started was great. As they have grown the atmosphere has changed. They are not friendly, there are no smiles. Example: the greeting I typically receive : "last name?" There is little communication on delay of prescription readiness. And HIPPA is not followed here, they want you to yell your date of birth and name from the back of the line. I am in the process of changing my families prescriptions from here. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews of this business, especially one from the west coast. I prefer (and use) this pharmacy over the mail in supplier my insurance prefers me to use. It's a little more expensive because big pharma is in cahoots with the insurance companies and will only allow the large mail order pharmacies to fill 90 day supplies, while the small customer oriented stores like this one are only allowed to fill 30 days worth. To me being able to go to the pharmacist and ask a question is well worth the minor issue of only getting 30 days and paying a little more. The people in here are always extremely helpful and friendly. I do agree with one critique however regarding birth dates. DOB is PII, and it should be asked for discreetly. You really can't find a better local pharmacy. read more

I haven't even been here yet for pick up but since my quick phone call with April this place gets a 5star rating for me. You can tell there is a sincerity and compassion for each customer. Great customer service and thank you for helping me quickly without hesitation! read more

I agree with everything in the above review. from Victoria S. I too found Safeway's new pharmacy satisfactory and thought Neil had left the area when someone told me he had not.I was happy to find him and find him so close because I got back the service I was used to and then some. He has an amazing staff and it is so nice to have a pharmacy that goes above & beyond when you are not feeling well. You know they will work with you and do most if not all the work for you and get what you need. They are knowledgeable, kind, considerate & helpful. They are past as good as it gets .They are awesome.Thank you all. read more

This pharmacy is unreliable with time estimates for prescriptions. They are also disorganized. If you value your time, I would recommend to go elsewhere. read more

Do not use this pharmacy!!! The pharmacist is nasty, unprofessional and a danger especially to older patients. The owner of this pharmacy only cares about money not the patients. He has given patients the wrong medicine and failed to order medicine my elderly mother takes on a regular basis. This is not a safe pharmacy and they only have their friends write true reviews. If we could give this place a zero we would. read more

This is the best pharmacy around. The people are so very nice and helpful. Here's my story. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and there are a laundry list of medications. Trying to help out my Grandma I would take her to pick up her medications. Neil always remembered us and always made sure we were taken care of, every time. (and we were there about once a week) Her medication was on the counter before we made it to the counter. But most of all, he made her smile like no other every time. Trust worthy and good people. Avoid the chains. read more

Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. They have a nice sized store with some of the necessities in it but you can get in and out quickly. The staff is top notch. You feel like it's a small town shop, not a chain mentality which is a bonus these days. I even fill my dog's scripts there. very town should have a pharmacy like this one. We had long used one of the big chain pharmacies. My wife was frustrated by delays in prescriptions being filled, curious payment requests (co-pay when there was none) and rude staff. No more! She changed to Arnold Professional and we couldn't be happier. I mean, when does someone actually think much about their pharmacy? If you do, use this one. read more

This is a decent pharmacy. They are pretty quick and they are kind to you for the most part. They rarely make any mistakes and will work with the customer to help get them feeling well again.
