Pharmacist Paul and pharmacy technician Michael were both extremely helpful in working with me through a complex series of challenges involving insurance and connecting with physicians at Saint Agnes Hospital on a late Sunday afternoon. They even kept the pharmacy open 10-12 minutes past closing to issue for my daughter (who just was released from the hospital) a much needed pain relief medication and antibiotic that cost over 98% less than what the hospital physician prescribed. I had to drive to the hospital as pharmacy closing time approached since phone connection to a physician there was unreliable, and the information Michael gave me (missing diagnostic code) for insurance prescription reject spurred immediate action at the hospital nurse station, ultimately leading to pharmacist Paul's persistent phone interaction with hospital physicians to resolve yet another problem. 5 star service! read more

My insurance makes me go to CVS, which is the only reason I go here. I just spent 20 minutes in the pick up counter line, only to be told to get my medicine from the dude at the drop off counter. Which was another 20 minute wait since there are others who were told to do the same thing. My doctor called in the prescription last week and they had it, but said it would be another hour before I could pick it up. What a jacked up operation. Look. It was very hard for me to write this review because I really liked this location. I used to live in the area and didn't mind driving out of the way to continue to go to this pharmacy. The drive thru service was always nice. I've been understanding that they closed their drive thru for the past couple months because we are in a pandemic. I've been understanding that they have taken 4-5+ days to fill a script. I've been understanding that their parking lot is always full and the line to the pharmacy has been 10 people deep. I understood that the pharmacy isn't going to pick up the phone after waiting on hold for over an hour only to hang up in frustration. What I don't have sympathy for is CVS not taking action to their severely understaffed stores. I'm sure the CEO is taking home good chunk of change of out all these prescriptions that keep rolling in. I've seen the staff behind the counter busting their butts to pump out these medications for months! However, there hasn't been an visible change or alleviation. CVS needs to starting paying their pharmacists and staff MORE! The stresses of the jobs are only going to burn out your staff but there will be serious errors in providing critical medications for your customers. DO BETTER CVS! read more

Horrible location! I came in last Tuesday for a TB test for work and needed to come back today Friday 7/1 to have it read.. the nurse asked me what time I'd like to come back and I told her Friday morning was perfect, she gave me the date and time and put me in the computer. I come in at 9:10am for my 9:20 appointment and was told I can't been seen because I'm not in their system. I stated the nurse at the minute clinic made my appointment for me and I wouldn't have drove all the way here from Severna Park if I didn't have an appointment! The physician refused to see me, stating she was running behind and I could wait until she had time for a walk in. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT BUT THEY CANCELED IT WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME! Here it is well after 10am and I still have not been seen. I I see stand due to the pandemic there been an increase in hospital and clinic visits but for something that only takes two minutes that I originally had an appointment for to not be seen and have to wait all day is ridiculous! I came here because again I needed this for work and today is the last day it can be read, I would have taken the Thursday appointment but it was near closing time and the nurse rescheduled it for the following day! Not the worst CVS and definitely not the best. Traveling on business and needed a few things. I will still have to find another place to find my Febreze anti-wrinkle spray. Almost nothing on those shelves. Weird small items are locked up to keep from theft. Had to walk to the front of the store to find a clerk who (very kindly) walked back with me and liberated a $5 tweezer. Multitudes of other much more expensive items free to take around the store. Then 10 cents for a big paper grocery bag? Not even a handle to make it more portable. I guess the choice if you don't live here is to leave with a pile of random items in your hand so you can dump them in the front seat of the rental car and watch them roll around. Guess I'll have to start carrying a purse so I can carry my random drugstore items. Other states handle their ecological choices better. read more

Never fail to encounter an issue. It takes 48 hours to fill basic prescriptions. If you need to speak to a pharmacist you will be on hold for an hour. Once you reach the pharmacist he is usually gruff. He's told me that if I can't pronounce the prescription he can't provide an eta. I advised that my profile is on his computer screen and he can read what is in process. What a miserable place. read more

Please save yourself from the minute clinic here at go to Patient First. Yvonne had no idea how to take out a stitch even though the service is offered and she claimed to know what she was doing. After over 20mins of her fumbling around I finally told her to stop. She should not be practicing medicine. Not the best customer service. I only ever come if I'm in the shopping center at my nail place, Pro Tips. The few times I've visited this store, it's the same. No one offers assistance and they never have what I'm looking for. I stopped in yesterday to redeem a coupon that was expiring soon. After my item was rung up, I mentioned I had a 40% off coupon on my card. The sales associate informed me that I didn't. That's weird but whatever. I stopped using this pharmacy for myself along time ago. It was always the same problem. I had to go back to pick up a prescription for my niece. The prescription was sent in by her doctor around 2:30 in the afternoon on Tuesday I went to pick it up at 4:30 on Wednesday. When I got to the window I was told that it was not ready that they could put a rush on it but it would be at least an hour before it would be ready. This happens all the time there. 24 hours should be more than enough time for a prescription to be ready. I will stick with my small personal pharmacy from now on. My prescription is always ready when I show up. They get to know you and give you great personalized service. read more

Honestly worst experience at any cvs. After making a group of us wait in a corner I decided to get in line and ask some questions, since we where not getting updates on the status of our shots. I got there at 4:30pm and I finally got to somebody at 5:15 just to tell me they didn't have what they need to gives us all the vaccine. This could all have been told to us 45 minutes ago instead they decided to withhold the information and do nothing about it. This is the most dysfunctional pharmacy in the area. Today I dropped off a prescription at 11:30 AM. They told me it would be an hour. I went back at 4:04 PM and they didn't have it. Eventually they told me it was out I'd stock. When I complained they told me it would be ready in an hour. This happens ALL the time. Lost and unfilled prescriptions are the norm. So this review is for the minute clinic. DO. NOT. COME. HERE. I left work to come here for a severe sore throat around 18:45, they closed at 19:30. So I wait for 20 or so minutes (which I'm not complaining about). I'm the last patient to go in, she checks my vitals, blah blah blah, says my throat isn't red and has no reason to believe that I have strep. She doesn't even DO a strep test and tells me to take Sudafed which isn't even a medication for sore throats. Please do not waste your time or money for this minute clinic. It's a drugstore. It sells stuff for when you are sick. It is closer than my local Walmart and almost as reasonably priced. Actually, some of their sale items crushed Walmart. We've never had an issue here to be unhappy about.. although I do dislike most "store discount card" programs, they always ask you to use their card... and the website never linked my phone# to the card properly, so it's always an issue for me, but I know that going in. read more

Sept 2, 5:15 PM, Called CVS to find out if my prescriptions were available for pickup using their automated call in system. The automated system told me I had three prescriptions in their system but when the names were read off by the automated voice only two of the three were named. I then called the local pharmacy (7400 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie MD) and waited for 15 minutes to talk to somebody and finally what sounded like a young African American lady (did not get her name) answered and told me there were three available for pickup. I then informed her that there was a bug in their automated system and she agreed to report it to her management. I then told her that I had been left on hold listening to a repetitive message for 15 minutes and that they should add a call back option, or increase staffing. She gave me the excuse that this was a busy time for them, but I said that is no excuse for not having a callback option. I then asked her to pass on this recommendation to her management but she was hemming and hawing and said I would need to call some other place at CVS to make that request. I then told her we have had many other issues with CVS and are considering switching pharmacies, will she report this issue to management or not - at which point she hung up on me.... read more

If I could leave them one star I would. I have been using CVS since our local mom and Pop pharmacy closed several years ago. They are the absolute worst pharmacy that I have ever come in contact with. Recently, I had a prescription called in there from my provider and they did not carry it at the time and it was on backorder. I was to figure out on my own that this was on backorder no thanks to them. You are just supposed to wait until you decide to give them a call to see what is going on with your prescription and why is it not being filled. There are several medications that people have to take every single day and cannot skip a day. Yet CVS has no type of system in place to where they will call you and let you know that your prescription is on back order and that maybe you should find another pharmacy that carries it. I have been dealing with them for the past seven days back-and-forth with no response in regards to another pharmacy that carries my medication and how they could maybe help facilitate the transfer of my prescription to a pharmacy that does have it. They hire people that have zero personality and no customer service skills. I spoke with one woman, by the name of Alex, who did end up being extremely helpful. She was the only one out of about 10 employees that I spoke to that actually sounded like she cared.I will never use a CVS pharmacy ever again and I highly recommend that you don't either. read more

I recently moved to the neighborhood near this CVS and the pharmacy is fabulous. The customer service is beyond any that I've experienced at any other pharmacy. All of the employees are extremely helpful and nice. I'm so happy we switched to this pharmacy. read more
