Wish I could give them 0 stars. I had a 6pm vaccine appointment. When I arrived I went to the counter as directed and waited in a super long line. No problem. They're busy. I finally get to the front and I'm told to go wait in the vaccine area. 15 minutes later I'm still sitting there. I go up and ask how much longer and she says "the pharmacist will be with you when she has time". I'm confused. This wasn't a walk in but an appointment. I waited another 15 minutes before walking out. No respect for other people's time. Very frustrating experience. read more

I had been a regular customer at this pharmacy for years. My wife attempted to drop off a prescription for me on Friday 2024-05-24. The pharmacist - "Miss Janet" - told my wife she wouldn't accept it because the doctor hadn't printed his name in the right place on the script. She sent my wife back to the doctor's office, 45 minutes away (one way), to get a new one. When my wife reached the doctor's office and tried to relay what Miss Janet needed, the doctor was confused, since the prescription, to him, was filled out properly and his name, NPI, DEA number, etc were all clear and imprinted. I called and asked to speak to Miss Janet, who told me something completely different -that the prescription had to be submitted electronically and that the signature wasn't the issue. Why didn't she tell my wife that? I tried to explain to Miss Janet that the office I visit, part of Ascension health, had a cyberattack and wasn't able to submit prescriptions electronically, hence the written prescription. This isn't an event impacting a single office - this a nationwide issue addressed on both Ascension's site and in the national news. In the middle of trying to explain this, Miss Janet interrupted me to say "Hold on" and hung up on me. I called back and she refused to get on the phone. The technician said she understood my issue, it made sense to her, that the written script was in order, and that a verbal verification to the office could've been done, but Miss Janet refused. She also directed me to another pharmacy, however, at this point, the doctor's office was closing for the Memorial Day weekend, leaving us no option to fill the prescription elsewhere because of the needed verbal confirmation. My wife and I spoke to 4 other pharmacists, 2 from other CVSs, who didn't understand why this happened. To answer the questions people may have: 1) I have been going to this CVS monthly for the same medication for many years, always on time. 2) I have been going to the same medical group and doctor for a decade - they are the only people to have ever prescribed to me this type of medication. 3) Miss Janet refused to check my CVS records to verify I was a regular customer with no previous issues. 4) I pay by credit card and use my employer-provided insurance. 5) At no time did I have an attitude with the staff or Miss Janet (who I only spoke to for barely a minute before she hung up on me.) I apologized several times to the technician that was placed in the middle when Miss Janet would not get back on the phone. 6) Yes, I have already called CVS corporate and shared all of this with them. Whether I receive a call back from the district manager, as I requested, we'll see. As is occurring over Memorial Day weekend 2024, my wife and I had planned to visit relatives out of state for several days. I now need to cut the trip short to come back to Maryland to fill the prescription. Also, it puts next month's refill off by several days, landing that date square on the day I half way across the world for a 3 week vacation. Completely unnecessary and potentially very costly If I can't find away around after speaking with my doctor on Tuesday. Two seconds to stop and listen could've saved my family what look to be issues on two trips. To say I am angry is an understatement. I fully understand there are strict rules surrounding some prescriptions. I follow them to the letter. I couldn't control that Ascension had a cyber-attack, thus forcing a written prescription instead of electronic. I'd hate to think this was a result of Miss Janet prejudging my wife - maybe because she is Asian, maybe because she didn't like what she was wearing - I don't know. I would've hoped my consistent record would've made some sort of difference in this situation, as well as the fact I do follow all of the many rules surrounding the type of prescription we were attempting to fill. Isn't that the point of all these regulations, so pharmacists can make accurate determinations about people and not gate keep based on race, gender, creed, perceived valued to society, etc. I only know this could've been handled a different way such that wasn't so blatantly disrespectful and frankly, mean spirited. If Miss Janet has said no in the beginning, and not forced my wife into a wild goose chase, this would've never gotten to this point. I would've had my medication from somewhere else, I would've have to come back early from our Memorial Day trip, and my refill date wouldn't now be the day I land 3000 miles away from Maryland. I would imagine that Miss Janet wouldn't appreciate it if someone treated her family members the way she treated my wife. Then again, given the attitude she gave me by hanging up the phone mid-explanation and refusing to even listen to a word I had to say about the nature of the issue, I suspect both she and CVS don't care one bit. Avoid this place at ALL costs. read more

This falls in the category of 'MUST' avoid. Slow, short staffed, long waits, hours of operation change daily... take your business somewhere else... a shame that YELP does not have a zero star rating because this location deserves zero stars read more

I have stage four cancer. CVS pharmacy never has my prescriptions then I wait days til they get it and then takes another two days to fill. That 4-5 days every month I'm out of my meds. So all those days in a year are days I'm missing out on living. I'm Kelly Lynn by the CVS read more

They push the APP down our throats but as soon as something goes wrong they can't control what goes on with the APP. Meanwhile I have a prescription that can't be filled in a different state and I'm leaving this state tomorrow . Now I'm being told the doctor has to send in a new request. We all know how that goes. I purchased a 16x20 canvas picture on 6/28/2024 and picked up about 3 days later. Took home and the whole back came off & picture ended up on floor. Took back to the store and older African man acted like he didn't want to take back an do over. 7/06/2024 received call from Ms. Juanita or Janice saying phot was ready for pickup after I had been there prior to this date to get it back and wasn't ready. I picked up and soon as I hung up this back came off as well. I was going to ask for a refund but my daughter liked the picture. I told Ms. Janice to make me another one and I'll bring this one back as well. I received the 3rd picture a few days later and guess what it has been sitting in my floor because it came apart as well. I don't have the time or energy to even ask for my money back. I've purchased 16x20's & 8x10's from CVS before but not this particular store and had no problem whatsoever with them. Now I feel like I've really been duped out of $32 sale price. read more

The wait times are terrible & the customer service is the worst ive experienced from a pharmacy

Keith was very helpful along with his staff. I was greeted and helped immediately after walking in. Thank You!

Waited in the drive thru line for over an hour for prescheduled Covid testing for travel. The clerk lost my drivers license stating she had given it back, despite my knowing 100 percent I had not received it. After hours searching, talking to store staff and finally calling to speak to the manager they found it. Such a frustrating unnecessary experience. Will definitely not be returning. read more

Recommended NOT to go to this pharmacy at all! The 'supposed' pharmacist or Dr, manager, whatever is now an ignorant person. I witness a young lady attended there w/ all patience for a prescription for a minor who need medication so badly as I felt sorry for her. Due to the lack of professionalism, it must been very shameful to be working there & not helping out others. If there's any critics or managements out there, we've sent a formal complaint to have this person removed from working this pharmacy & strip away their title as 'pharmacist' so they don't receive any further patients/customers. read more

Service from the pharmacy cashiers is terrible; rude, unhelpful, and slow service often with incorrect information. Consistently unable to find filled prescriptions and little to no interest in looking for them in their pharmacy. read more

Absolutely THEEEE worst! All the other reviews are accurate. Rude and non-existant management, indifferent employees, Covid tests at drive thru window tying up the line when you are trying to pick up your meds. Went in at 6pm on a Friday and the entire drive thru window was closed. I go inside and only 2 people behind the pharmacy counter. A pharmacist and cashier. Waited an hour to pick up 3 prescriptions that were called in 3 1/2 hours earlier and weren't even touched. Asked about the lack of help, the cashier said 5 people called out. Front of the store is just as bad. They're letting everyone go through the self serve register and making the cashier stock shelves. NO ONE UPFRONT! No wonder there's a theft problem. read more

Never go this pharmacy ever in your life. They never answer the phones and they never have the prescription ready when you show up, even if the app says it is. I just found out my prescription is out of stock and to call and find another pharmacy to transfer it to. Yea good luck getting anyone on the phone. Sat on hold for 3 hours before saying screw it. If you need anything, chancing going into the store is probably the best bet but good luck standing in line for an hour. read more

this store might as well be burnt to the ground - you would get the same service. its not a real place, its a shared hallucination - they don't sell pharmaceuticals there, just misery. real human beings are not staffed there. find another pharmacy. read more

The slowest and most unprofessional staff I have ever interacted with !!!! ... I dropped off two prescriptions and now two days later they are not ready ... this is after I was originally told "come back in a few hours and pick them up". They were a transfer, but it is very unprofessional to have to return several times for pick-up, and to be told each time "come back in an hour". I will not return to this location! read more

Most disorganized, poorly staffed business imaginable. Crazy wait times, they don't answer phones, online prescription refill doesn't exist. Crawl to any other pharmacy. Staff seems to have no idea what they're doing - mostly stand and stare at computers. read more

This is by far the hands down worst CVS Pharmacy EVER! This is my 3rd attempt to pick up one prescription but had to leave due to the wait. I have tried going inside, I have waited in the drive through for over 45-minutes still had to leave. They need help with customer service. In the meantime I would strongly advise going to another location or another pharmacy. read more

Still one of the worse drugstores in town. Lines are so long. It is understaffed. If you use the dry-thru you are competing with people getting their COVID-19 testing. They should have a separate Testing line. Inside, you have to jump from line to line for drop off, pickup, flu shots, consultation. Never have this issue with Walgreens at Marley Station/Ritchie Hwy read more

This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy. The entire staff is rude and incompetent. Two times they have miscounted the amount of my prescription. Both times it was their error, but it was implied both times that I was a liar and they did not do anything wrong. I cannot say this strongly enough - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY. After their most recent screw-up, I immediately changed pharmacies and it was not to another CVS. Everyone in that pharmacy needs to be fired. read more

The worst pharmacy ever! I went to get my prescription there and they messed everything up. It was through workers comp, they ran it through my personal insurance. Worst pharmacy ever!!! The only person who knows what they are doing is Lynn. The others are the most unprofessional, uneducated, ignorant people I have ever came across!! They speak to you like you are interrupting them. You get a text telling you your meds are ready, show up to pick up and are welcomed by a mush mouthed individual who can't open her mouth to speak, who says, and I quote "it ain't here". I'm sorry, you texted ME!! One so called pharmacy tech informed me on the phone as I called with the med in my hand that they never filled this and I must be wrong?!?! I've tried talking to the pharmacist and manager and they are just as bad. Just a word of advice, unless you want to be treated like garbage, only deal with Lynn or do what we did and transfer to Target!!!! read more

I'm not sure why this CVS even stays open. It's dirty, it's completely understocked and probably one of the worst around. They blame this on the fact there's so much theft at this location. If that's the case, hire security or close this dump! Most of the people working there seem disgruntled and mad at the world. Usually you find these employees at the register ranting about something their not happy about, etc. Walgreens is right down the street and probably stocked with what you need from a drugstore. read more

Please, for the love of GOD! AVOID this CVS!! The pharmacy is a complete disaster, they have no idea what they are doing, made me wait 2 hours just for them to tell me that I need to call my plan because the name is wrong. I never had this issue with my old pharmacy and this is the first time I go to this one and they are the first to have an issue with my prescriptions. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, I had to leave because I started to tear up due to anxiety. I never had a pharmacy make me so stressed and waste my time with lies. I'm going back to my old pharmacy, I rather travel a hour to my old cvs pharmacy than to go through that experience again. I am a person who RARELY give reviews but omg PLEASE stay away from this CVS. If you want your time wasted and probably get your prescription weeks later this is the place. If you are a person with mental health issues please avoid! Don't go there! They have a TERRIBLE pharmacy! If I could give it less of a rating I would. Don't believe them when they say 2 minutes, it means 2 hours. Stay away at all costs!!! read more

Rude and unprofessional staff as everyone says. And this was a supposed "Manager". I just went since it is was on my way. I easily spend hundreds of dollars at CVS a year (no exaggeration) and had a return WITH a receipt. Just didn't have my credit card with me. I told her please just do store credit. She said she couldn't. Nonsense. She just didn't know what she was taking about. I said just let me see the manager. She claimed she was the manager. I said just let me speak to anyone who is not YOU after she continued to be rude. The return was a little less than $20 but I was steamed at how rude and ridiculous she sounded. She said the other manager would not tell me anything different. I told her just get someone else. She huffed and said she would see. When she came back, she said that Manager was on a conference call?! Huh?! Please at 6pm, yeah, that makes sense. She rudely just asked for my ID and surprise SURPRISE, processed a store credit. Never come here, such a waste! read more

I would have rated them a zero but the software wouldn't let me. This CVS is HORRIBLE. They are RUDE and they LIE. My doctor's office faxed a script to them TWICE, they said my doctor denied the script stating the patient is unknown to the provider. Amazing since his office faxed the script in! My health insurance mandates of use CVS so I don't have a choice and they know it. Can someone recommend aCVS where the pharmacy department doesn't have their heads up their rears?!
