However the Pharmacist that is helping out has created a situation that has made me very uncomfortable, questioning every time I have been in to pick up my new meds to hopefully give me some kind of relief before my next surgery of which there have been MANY. I recieve a certain medicine which requires me to show my identification but for the past year of coming to this location my ID was never requested. Today I was informed that the pharmacist will no longer fill my medication because I don't live in Annapolis. What's hilarious is I own three homes and also own a salon in Annapolis. My main home is in Annapolis. My id does not reflect my current address because I have a change of address card provided by the mva showing my address. The pharmacist Patel looked me in the face and told Me because I don't have proof I live in Annapolis he will no longer fill my medication. This is so ILLEGAL! We previously had been working with big name pharmacies when we had a major issue and left us wanting better service and a personalized experience. This is exactly what we got at Arnold Professional Pharmacy. They are able to compound which has been especially helpful with young children. If there's ever something we need to talk through with the pharmacist, they are thoughtful, responsive, and helpful. To me, they have been a great extension of our healthcare team for our family. I have never felt any kind of pressure or discomfort here as a customer. The service here is top notch: the staff knows everyone by first name, they're incredibly courteous and conscientious, and if they can't fill a prescription for you they will work diligently to find a pharmacy close by who can. They also understand that insurance can be tricky and the cost of maintaining health in America presents its own challenges, so while they can't dictate the cost of medications, they try to make it as easy and as painfree as humanly possible to get what you need. They also have a solid selection of other things you might need in a pinch and are super knowledgeable about the pros and cons between different brands / products. Not to mention they also have little things like a section dedicated to the community featuring books from local authors. I respect that a lot. When people talk about the benefits of choosing smaller local businesses over bigger companies, I immediately think of places like this little pharmacy. My experience here is that they really care about their backyard and those of us who live here.

Great little local drug store. They offer services that the chain stores don't, I highly recommend…read morethem. They're super friendly, helpful and compassionate. They saved the day for my family and our sick cat. I will be forever grateful for the services they provide. They were able to compound her medications into tuna favored liquid that we could squirt in her mouth or the better tasting stuff she just licked up or ate in her food. Our kitty was diagnosed with Lymphoma, the vet prescribed steroids to make her time left comfortable and suggested we get it compounded here. It was more expensive than pills were but I would pay twice what I did to not have to pill her everyday. The medication they compounded added weeks to her terminal diagnosis, and gave her a quality of life that would of been impossible without the medication. If we had not gotten the liquid we would of had to put her to sleep weeks before we did. If you have a pet that takes pills I highly recommend asking your vet if it can be compounded here, it is so worth it for you and your pet, especially if you have a cat. They will explain how to store it and administer it. The medication even came with the little syringe. I wish it was closer to my home so I could use it for my monthly prescriptions.

When I turned into their drive I saw their lot had not been plowed !! I could not pull out, since there was a car behind me. A 6 inch ice block was in middle of lane the whole way into parking lot. It scraped the bottom of my Tesla. Also the whole lot was full of snow. I told the pharmacist they should not have been open, since the their road and parking lot were a severe hazard. They said they were waiting for their plow contractor to show up, It would have been easy to text their customers with prescriptions and tell them not to come to store until lot was plowed. I guess getting money from us has a priority over our safety, Shame on Bay Ridge CVS!!
