I see the revolving door of staff members that come and go, however, there are a few that have been here for quite some time and they are what I call "drug gems." Make sure your insurance is contacted by your doctor or you BEFORE going to CVS--CVS is not your third-party insurance coverage check. Make sure YOU can read what your doctor wrote down before getting to CVS--CVS is not your scribe. Make sure you have an email or text message confirming the correct date, time, and service that you are scheduled for and even call ahead to verify the time and location before leaving your house. You have NO reason to complain about a wait time, hunny. CVS has the ability for you to place your order via the MyChart phone app, via Online, and their own CVS phone app. If you don't signup for email or text notifications, that is on YOU.

I came in to grab a few items that I knew they would have, but after scouring the aisles I only ended up finding two of the items I wanted. After the frustration of going up and down the aisles, I made my way to the registers. I used the self checkout registers and after some difficulty with the scanner I was good to go. The scanner would not read my phone to scan the rewards program in. With my items paid for, I went out the door to continue the day.

I've waited for 15-25 minutes on 4 different occasions with no one helping with the pick up. On 2 occasions, they had us jump through insurance loops to get some medication or other approved before they can refill just to end with the medication being out of stock here! It's also the messiest CVS I've ever been to. I don't think anyone cleans outside or inside on a daily basis. Debris on the carpet inside and trash spilling over outside on most days.

I had to drive to the hospital as pharmacy closing time approached since phone connection to a physician there was unreliable, and the information Michael gave me (missing diagnostic code) for insurance prescription reject spurred immediate action at the hospital nurse station, ultimately leading to pharmacist Paul's persistent phone interaction with hospital physicians to resolve yet another problem. 5 star service!

Two observations I would make is the staff is extremely limited and sweeping and vacuming needs to be down more often; meaning you have to go on a hunt for help, other than the cashier, and the floors are dusty. I have never felt any kind of pressure or discomfort here as a customer. The service here is top notch: the staff knows everyone by first name, they're incredibly courteous and conscientious, and if they can't fill a prescription for you they will work diligently to find a pharmacy close by who can. They also understand that insurance can be tricky and the cost of maintaining health in America presents its own challenges, so while they can't dictate the cost of medications, they try to make it as easy and as painfree as humanly possible to get what you need. They also have a solid selection of other things you might need in a pinch and are super knowledgeable about the pros and cons between different brands / products. Not to mention they also have little things like a section dedicated to the community featuring books from local authors. I respect that a lot. When people talk about the benefits of choosing smaller local businesses over bigger companies, I immediately think of places like this little pharmacy. My experience here is that they really care about their backyard and those of us who live here.

I've also heard complaints about some food being expired or spoiled, and I have to admit that this kind of makes me squeamish. Since then, I've tried not to purchase perishables like vegetables or fruit from here. There are some positives - it's never really crowded, so I can get in and out fast, and some of the products are actually surprisingly good (the Weis premium ice cream is amazing!). As mentioned, some of the staff are friendly and they do try hard, but you can tell them apart from the ones that don't. It's glaringly obvious. They're open super late too, until 11pm, so that really helps me out a lot. Still, all in all, I'm willing to drive a little further to the Quarterfield Road Walmart to make major shopping trips. It's a matter of price and I know that I can get fresh, quality food there. And if you use SNAP or WIC, I won't know because that's nobody's business but yours.

They filled my prescription within minutes of my doctor calling it in. I had so many issues with CVS and I lost part of my prescription while on vacation, therefore I could not get it done on time but they did an override after speaking with my doctor. .
