When I moved to this area six years ago, this CVS felt like a reliable and friendly place. Sadly, that's changed. On October 7th, 2025, around 9 in the morning, I interacted with the manager and two pharmacy staff members. The experience was especially difficult--cold, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I'm paying for this treatment--literally--and still walk away feeling disrespected and unheard. I've tried to be patient, but the staff at this CVS makes it incredibly hard. As a brown, Spanish-speaking woman, I can't ignore how often I'm treated differently. It's not okay. I deserve better. The only reason I keep coming here it is because it is right next to my house. I'm tired of fe that each time I come here I'm being racially profiled. read more

Had several bad experiences with one of the pharmacists. I have used them for years. After the second incident, I decided to go To a whole different pharmacy.i had the answers to a problem in 5l minutes after speaking to a pharmacist somewhere else. I spent days without medication because the pharmacist was less than helpful in the situation. One employee made the experience bad. Sadly, the rest of the staff was nice. My wife and I use this pharmacy for prescriptions. We are both very pleasant people. The pharmacists have always been great but the pharmacy techs, especially Alyssa, can be very short and rude. Don't know if she has an anxiety issue or what, but there are drugs there to make her a happier person and do your job, serve the customer. Horrible customer service. read more

I went here because the CVS I usually go to is always busy and takes forever to get a prescription. I had drop off a prescription for a glucose/libre monitor for my dog I'd found out yesterday has diabetes. I had Micayla at the pharmacy who was so kind to me and I didnt have pet insurance so told me how much it would be..but then without me asking looked and found 2 coupons that saved me I believe around $40. I'm so grateful that they have someone working there like that. I was upset enough about my dog being I'll, its little things that make it a little bright..I switched my own prescriptions to this one as well..Thank you Micayla and cvs. read more

Kept me waiting almost thirty minutes to get a vaccine even though I was the first in line. Completely unprepared and acted like I was bothering them when I asked what was taking so long. Apparently, even though my appointment was at 9 am, they did not bother to start warming up the vaccine until after 9. Very frustrating. read more

I have been a CVS customer for many years and never used to have any problem with this pharmacy when calling for information. But in the last few months, it has been difficult to even get anyone to answer the phone. They must be understaffed because of the vaccine issues. I have waited as much as 10 minutes for my calls to be answered, and the app is very hard for me to navigate. I did have a good experience this last time. I "only" had to wait 5 minutes, but the best part is that JP answered and was very helpful, so cudos to him for his patience with this old lady. Now I just have to figure out the app, as this particular Rx is to be a cash transaction and it keeps wanting me to link my CVS card with my credit card, as the pharmacy cannot take payment on the phone. So......thanks to JP for making this a bit more easy to do on the phone. CVS, take better care of your people and get more staff. That will go a long way toward easing the phone service issue. read more

This place sucks. It's dirty, and they have no hand baskets. That means you have to push a cart around like grandma doing demolition derby with the other pensioners in the aisles if you need more than you can carry in your arms. I asked them why, and was told it was to cut down on shoplifting. So, not only does this place suck, but they presume you're a thief when you walk in too. I work in DC and the CVS near me doesn't even have this stupid policy. The pharmacy is bad, too. They've lost my prescription multiple times and never have an order ready when it's supposed to be. Minute clinic is an absolute joke. Extremely slow and turned away to go to the ER for a simple thing.

The pharmacy is very slow - and sometimes inaccurate. I recently picked up a prescription and the label with the doctor's instructions was different from the directions on the prescription box. CVS staff had given me the wrong prescription! And when I pointed this out they didn't seem to care about the mistake! On various occassions they have forgot where they put my prescripiton, restocked the prescription when I didn't pick it up within 48 hours, and incorrectly told me my doctor hadn't called in a prescription. Although there are some great pharmacy staff, most are slow and don't look very happy to be there. Several times while waiting in line at the pharmacy counter I have overhead other's complaining about the poor service. Often, there are no cashiers at the store counters and I have to track someone down to pay for my purchase. Cashiers are not enthusiatic and look like they can't wait until their shift is over. Lack of customer services and high prices prevent me from going there unless it's for a prescription - which I fill there because of my insurance coverage through CVS Caremark otherwise I'd go someplace else. read more

Been using this pharmacy for years, never had an issue. They can a lot of grief for their wait times but people have to understand it's not as simple as putting pills in a bottle and handing them out!! I always put my through and say I'll be back the next day, normally they're ready that night or first thing in the morning. The staff has always been friendly with me but I've seen a few grumps but it's always because the customer before just got done arguing with them, I always try to get them to laugh. Basically to sum it up, I get what I need at good prices, and they get busy so be patient!!! read more

A few years ago this was my local CVS. I moved away to Annapolis and never gave it another thought until yesterday. I've been having a problem with one of my medications. The generic that works best for me is suddenly on backorder from the manufacturer. I called at least a dozen pharmacies trying to track down the last supply of this medication and nobody had it. CVS wasn't on my list of places to call, but should have been. Due to pre-existing medical conditions, I cannot get health insurance (well, I can now, and will, but that is a different story ... I do not have it this second). My medicine is expensive and I require 15 patches. Since I am a "cash only" patient, my doctor writes two scripts, one for 5 patches and one for 10. Depending on how much cash I want to shell out over the cost of the visit, I choose to get one or the other filled. Yesterday I decided to get the 5 filled at my usual pharmacy, who informed me that there is still a manufacturer backorder with no known delivery date. I opted for another brand of patches that I have a problem with. These fall off me and do not work as well, so I figured I'd get that clear cover they use to cover IV's to help keep it in place. My pharmacist told me that they do not carry them, but when he was in Chicago, they always had them, so maybe try a bigger pharmacy like CVS. On the road home, I stopped by the CVS on Veteran's. I hightailed it to the pharmacy and explained my predicament. Not only did they happen to have a few boxes of the brand I like left, they agreed to fill it and hold it for me until I actually need it. That prevented me from shelling out more money yesterday, but also ensures they do not give away what I need. I then asked about the IV protector I was looking for. I also asked whether they thought it would help the way I imagined it would. She said that it's probably a good solution and they have it in the aisle. I asked where and she directed me to it while she was putting my prescription in the system. Lost in the aisle and unable to find it, when she was done, she saw I hadn't come back and walked out to see if I needed help. Telling her I couldn't find it, we both started looking together and she was the first to spot it. All in all, I am very happy with this CVS. I felt like I got that old-school service that you simply do not get from chains anymore. This is a busy CVS and I used to take it for granted because it was the closest to my house. Thinking back to a few years ago, I always received great service from the people that worked there. Always helpful with a smile on their face. Other not-as-efficient CVS employees should spend some time in this particular store to see how things are done. read more

CVS on Williams BLVD is absolutely a complete waste of time to go to. FINALLY after suffering a year enduring a very Rude unorganized Pharmacy....they finally did straighten that out. But the Store being out of stock on regular items ...constantly..and not taking complaints seriously stated happening. Finally after the last 3 visits with going to get to items and coming out empty handed each time I give up. Talking to someone like the manager..and having promises of change it even more insulting when there have been no changes!! It is worse than having someone laugh in your face. read more

The pharmacy never acknowledged that I had sat in the drive-through for 10 minutes. It wasn't until a line had formed that I was helped. I've had other experiences where the pharmacists did not acknowledge that I was standing waiting to me helped. I think this department needs to prioritize customer service. read more

I've used this pharmacy for years. Since 2007 to be precise. There always seems to be some issue like the drug you were prescribed is out of stock or not carried at all. Most recently though, yesterday I went to fill 2 prescriptions. They asked me when I'd like to pick them up. I said one hour. Fine, see you in an hour. I came back in an hour only to be told they needed another half hour. I came back in a half hour, the girl at the drive up window said "one minute.." I sat there for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until my friend got frustrated and pressed the call button. A different girl came to the window and just looked at me, then told us we had to put out our cigarettes in our own car. Finally she asked my name and d.o.b. (for the 5th time) and a further 2 minutes later I finally got my prescriptions. I'm a very patient person, but if you tell me an hour that means an hour. Looks like I'll be going to a different pharmacy from here on in. read more

I have been a long time user of the pharmacy and up until this past year, it was very good. In the last few months however the pharmacy has become a nightmare. While you can call in orders and refill easily thru an automated system over phone, this is only because you do not have to interact with a human that works there. If only an automated system could run the window and desk at the pharmacy, right? I have waited over twenty minutes in the line inside the store while there were only two or less people in front of me. The employees are always nice and friendly when they finally get to you, but it seems as if they are moving at a snails pace. They are never overwhelmingly busy and yet, I always have to set aside at least a half hour to an hour just to pick up a preordered prescription. Then, the drive thru... on more than one occasion, I have sat in the drive thru pharmacy window for nearly an hour - sometimes even driving away without my prescription. Tonight I was in the drive thru for thirty minutes without even being acknowledged by an employee. FINALLY someone came to the window and was able to, after an additional ten minutes, get my prescription. This was easily the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. Either the current pharmacy manager needs to be terminated asap or the pharmacy has been grossly understaffed for almost a year. I DO NOT recommend going to this pharmacy anymore. I hope someday they improve and fast, but I will be finding somewhere else asap. read more

Wanted to start by saying that I don't usually have a problem with any of the people up front. There is a girl there that is always polite when I go in, a little goofy at times but otherwise she's great. She always tells me if I have a coupon on my card that I could use and gives me as much information as she can. But I'm not here to praise her although I wish I were. An employee there was very rude to me the other day, did not even say hello to me and used a coupon that was on my card without telling me that it was there. The total was half the coupon! I have been forced to use CVS for my prescriptions due to my plan. I had been using Target on Crain Hwy and had been receiving stupendous service. My last Target prescription of my blood pressure medication stated that I either had to use CVS or go through Caremark mail order. I opted to have CVS get my prescription transferred from Target. I called them on a Wednesday with the information and they said they would take care of it. Went in to pick the prescription up on Thursday and they hadn't called Target. They called Target then and at that time I found out I had no refills left. They said they would call the doctor in the morning. I left my phone number again and asked them to call if there was a problem. Went in Friday night and they said the doctor never called them back. First of all, the doctor never has had to call me back when I call in, that is why they have a prescription refill line. By this time, I am furious! I hadn't taken my blood pressure medication for 3 days, which couldn't be good. On Monday, I called my doctor who said they hadn't received a phone call from CVS(why doesn't this surprise me) and at that time asked them to call my prescription in to the CVS off of Telegraph Road in Severn. Picked it up that night and everything was fine. Yesterday, my dentist slipped and drilled my tongue. I was in a lot of pain, but needed to get a prescription for penicillin filled. Went through the drive through window in Millersville and the girl said the wait was 2 hours. I had a quick errand to run and asked if I could pick it up in 45 minutes. She said "no, 2 hours!" Now if I am in a lot of pain, would I feel like having to go back in 2 hours? Took my prescription, dropped it off at Target and it was filled in 15 minutes. I will NEVER go back to this CVS! Not sure about the competence of those that work there. There is no sense of urgency with any of the workers. Guess they figure they have a commodity that nobody else carries! Horrible pharmacy! Absolutely horrible! I wouldn't even give it a #1 rating! read more
