If you go inside, you're in pharmacy line for a half hour. Once it was an hour for me. if you sit in your car, you're in line for a half hour before being waited on. I feel sorry for the people who work here because the people that work the front of house work very hard and I've never had an issue. They are great. Outstand Walgreens. They are my drugstore for prescriptions and other medical needs. Very helpful staff. Personable. The doctor or I send in my prescriptions and they promptly fill them. Walgreens at 7901 Ritchie Hwy. I scheduled my booster COVID-19 and flu shots online. Arriving early, I walk to the Pharmacy department. The COVID-19 station was CLOSED with SHUTTERS DOWN and ZERO DIRECTIONS on where flu shot recipients are supposed to go. As I stand there confused where I'm supposed to check-in, I see a small card reader with folks sitting or standing by so I used it figuring this is what I needed to sign into to get my shots. I provide my driver's license and health insurance. Then, I sit down for roughly 10 minutes. Zero activity or sound from the vaccination station. Therefore, I stand in the long customer service line for "Pick up/Drop Off" with one cashier. Again, there was ZERO indication that this was the line I needed to be in to get my shots. NO COVID-19/FLU SHOT DIRECTIONS ANYWHERE. After waiting 20 minutes in line, I still noticed ZERO activity in the vaccination room. As I am third in line, I get a call from the nurse at the first station I used my driver's license and health insurance, so I got out of the "Pick Up/Drop Off" line. I had to knock on the nurse's door since she shut it immediately after calling my name. I told her that I am so confused with where I'm supposed to get my COVID and flu shots and she stated that she was not the vaccination nurse and that I needed to wait in the long "Pick Up/Drop Off" line. Extremely annoyed for wasting my time with ZERO DIRECTIONS FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE OR IN MY EMAIL APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION, I stated that I am leaving the store; forget the appointment. So my daughter has disabilities and got rushed to emergency room at 6 am. When we left at 12 the doctor sent my scripts to this place . When I got there at 1 Ish they tell me it's not there . So I took my sick kid back to the hospital for them to tell me it was recieved by the pharmacist at 9.29 am. I go back to walgreen and h this time the line is around the isles long and 3 people behind the counter and only one helping customers while the other one is organizing. Do not go here. multiple times when receiving pain medication after surgery I have gone home to find that I am missing pills. I called to complain and speak to a manager by prefacing with my intention not to get more pills so they wouldn't think I was addict. I told them I wanted to make sure it wouldn't happen again because it has happened three times. I called twice and twice an employee hung on me. Their response was that it couldn't be their responsibility because they counted twice so it must be my fault. I will never go here again and if for some reason I do, then I will make sure to count the pills at the counter so those around me know this is an issue at Walgreens. It has happened to me twice prior and each time they try to put the ownership me. Ive never had the issue with non controlled substances, which leads me to believe that they have employees who stealing money and Much needed medication from customers. Terrible customer service. Pharmacy cashier had a long conversation about her social life with a customer while i waited. This continued after their transaction was done. I complained to the manager. The pharmacist then called me, demanding that I talk to him directly in the future! It is no wonder that service is bad in here, because the managers do not understand what proper customer service is. This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. The wait in the drive thru is always 20 plus minutes regardless of the time of day. Our dr. Calls in the prescription earlier than the fill date and any other pharmacy just holds it until the due date but this Walgreens sends us a text that the prescription has been canceled. So we have to call and they say "well it's too early". We know! Just hold it until the fill date. Then we call to see if the prescription is ready on the fill date and they say it's out of stock until tomorrow. ???? Unbelievable. read more

The Pharmacy will not answer the phone. I tried calling the manager of the Pharmacy, no answer there either. I tried calling the store to see if they could help me get in contact with the pharmacy, all he did was transfer me to the pharmacy, after I told him I've called several times and they're not answering - they didn't answer of course after he transferred me. I called the store again, same thing. Called the store again and he picks up the phone without speaking and transfers me to the pharmacy without saying a word to me at all. I am going to travel, called twice for a vaccine. They told me they have ordered it and that I should come today to pick it up. Surprise !!!! Now I need a prescription so they can not provide me the vaccine, unless I have a prescrition. I had the other one required and they NEVER told me I needed the prescription. Poor customer service. Older black guy working the register has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. Got nasty with me because I didn't "flip my rewards card over" for him to scan. That's your job. Pick it up. Also don't bother mentioning you have a coupon or you will get huffed and puffed at or told by him "I KNOW there's one in the coupon book!!!!" Get the f outta here. I only signed up so that I could tell everyone how absolutely awful this pharmacy is. I was told a half hour and came 45 minutes later and told another half hour. I returned 45 minutes later and told 15 minutes. I have now beem sitting here for two hours. Just be honest and if you can't figure out how to do your job (the same one a coin counting machine does perfectly and 100x more effectively) then maybe you should have gotten your associates in something like basket weaving instead. This is ridiculous as is your job efficiency. There should be negative stars solely for this place. read more
