Bottom Line: Snacks, booze and lottery tickets…read more Main Street Mini Mart is really small and equivalent to a tiny 7-11. It's closer to the top of the street near Church Circle and I think it's the only place on Main Street to buy lottery tickets, which is how I ended up there. Nothing fancy, and probably a huge markup, but it was alot easier than getting to Safeway, Whole Foods or Graul's. There's a decent magazine selection and I saw lots of people buying lottery tickets. I believe they also offer fax/copy, shipping, Western Union, and key making services. The girl that used to work there was pretty grumpy, but who knows who's there now? I did enjoy sitting on the bench out front in the summer when my apartment was over 100 degrees. Most of downtown Annapolis is tourist traps, shopping, dining, and historic stuff, so this is one of the few basic shops in the area. Nothin special but still useful.

We were able to select a mix and match half dozen of their mostly local brews, which our lovely shopkeeper was able to put together with transferable can clips into one unit. There appears to be other things for sale in the way of snacks and light lunches, but we didn't pay much attention to them. We knew we would be stuffed with Maryland Blues, chowder and key lime pie that night and were saving our appetites until then. It was cool to buy our night's beverages in a shop that might have been selling grog and heavy ales for the last 250 years!
