Always ask for coupons and/or discounted prescriptions. Pharmacies usually do not offer those options unless you ask, especially this CVS. If your RX is not covered, shop around. This CVS has been understaffed too long. There are always long lines. They do not automatically fill new prescriptions sent from my providers. They missed running a new prescription through my insurance which cost me $80. At the time, I assumed the rx was a brand name and not covered since the other two prescriptions I picked up at the same time had a $0 co-pay. The next time I picked up that same RX that I paid $80 for, it was covered in full and there was nothing I could do to be refunded for the previous prescription. Recently I picked up another Rx that was truly not covered but they showed no interest in checking for the best discounted amounted. I declined the rx and found it Amazon for 1/6 of the cost at CVS. read more

I understand it is now ragweed season, I'm suffering from it myself which is why I was at this CVS, but this pharmacy needs to order supplies accordingly. Folks at Pharmacy are clearly understaffed because I only received a partial prescription and when I told them they told me to search my home because they filled the prescription. They might have filled it but if you pack it in 2 different packages then there is a chance you guys didn't give me both. Check your prescriptions!!!! read more

Best CVS ever, not even kidding. I've gone multiple different locations, and even got to the point where I was switching companies entirely. My Dr. recommended this location because they are always on it and I'm so glad I stuck with them. We get our flu shots here every year and it always goes smoothly. Pharmacy calls back within 20 minutes after leaving a message and are always on it when communicating with my healthcare teams. Clean & friendly staff throughout the store too. 10/10! read more

Husband went to pick up a prescription at 11:30am and was told it would be about half an hour before it was ready. That was fine no problem at all, go back around 4:00pm and was told it would be half an hour again. He goes back about 30 mins later and was told a half hour again. This place is seriously understaffed. read more

Was heading to Gibson Island when my passenger said they desperately needed Sudafed. We stopped at Angel's, but they did not have a pharmacy. Back to the Dena we went. CVS Pharmacy had exactly what we needed from behind the counter. Customer service was great, and we were back to the island in no time. read more

I walked in to get a covid and Flu shot, someone from the store had called me about. I didn't have to wait long before I was call into the little room to get the shots. The guy had two bottles one of which was almost empty. As I watched, he drew the remaining content and quite a bit of air into the syringe and made no effort to point it up and remove it. I said "I guess you know that has air in it": He affirmed knowing. I said, "I didn't mean to offend". "I'm sure you have been well trained". He said, "I went to Howard" He had me look away as he injected with that needle. I got the other shot, that had no air, in the other arm and left. It wasn't long before I had throbbing pain in my left arm where I received the first shot. I got the shot at about 4:00 PM Sunday, April 6th, and at 3:30 AM Monday morning I was awake in my bed with the pain in my arm still throbbing. I was about to go to hospital as the pain seemed to be moving up to my shoulder and neck. I survived it ,,,,,I hope. Having qualified employees goes beyond education. I been going here for years and didn't have any trouble. I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR VACCINATION! read more

Ran out of Delsym, but was reluctant to give this location a try. I was greeted by a friendly staff member who was vacuuming the vestibule and then headed to the Cold Flu section and easily found what I was looking for, they even had the CVS brand version. On my way back i noticed another employee stocking shelves. I was also surprised to see the Pharmacy open with at least three employees. Heading to the register I chose to use a self checkout, forgetting that the cough syrup requires assistance, the staff member from the entrance was not vacuuming near the registers, as I wasn't in a hurry I waited to make eye contact with him. It took no time for him to notice me and walk over to help, the person stocking shelves arrived around the same time and they scanned in and I was on my way. As far as getting cough syrup at 2:30 am the shelves were well stocked, the Cold Flu label on the aisle guided me to where I needed to be and when I needed staff assistance I had two employees ready to help in short order. read more

This pharmacy wasted my time and mice wife's time, and our fuel, due to their lack of being prepared for services they allowed us to schedule. Having scheduled booster shots and arriving on time they told us we'd need to reschedule because the booster is not yet set "defrosted"and that it takes 3 hours. Why the hell allow appointments if the product is not ready? Why the hell allow us to drive to the store without canceling us sooner? read more

The pharmacy is extremely understaffed and their customer service is greatly impacted. I went to pick up my sons prescription 4 hours after it was called in and it wasn't not ready. They said it wasn't ready but I could wait and they'd have it ready in 30 minutes. With it being bed time for my 2 toddlers I told them I would come back the next day. Showed up the following day to be told it was out of stock and they might have it Monday at the earliest. Understanding supply chain issues I asked what could be done to get it filled at another pharmacy. They said I could call another cvs and they could fill it with no problem. Called around found a location with it in stock but they couldn't fill it because the Magothy Beach location still had it "in process". Tried calling Magothy Beach to get them to release it with no answer. After being on hold for 1 hour 19 minutes I drove back to the pharmacy to get them to release it. They did so immediately and while there the phone was ringing off the hook. The pharmacist even told me they didn't have any techs working so they weren't answering the phones. I'm sympathetic to understaffing and supply chain issues but the lack of any communication is unacceptable. With two small kids and needing meds for one who is sick the last thing any parent wants to do is load them into the car multiple times for no reason. Corporate CVS needs to reevaluate their staffing or hours for that location so they can better serve the community. read more

I do go annoyed because they recently added 2 self check out counters they are either always down or you have issues processing your transactions. They are the very worst pharmacy ever. I have been on hold while working. My current hold time has been 45 minutes. They are terrible. My last medication pick up they couldn't get for more than 2 weeks. They told me another pharmacy had it but they weren't going to get it from them. Several times they tell us to come back later to pick up a medication and they still don't have it ready. Then they act like we weren't there several hours before that. They ask us to return later or the next day and still don't have it ready. They should close. I am changing pharmacies. This pharmacy is god awful! I waited in line for what felt like a whole life time. When I pull up i'm greater by a rude woman so tells me the register isn't working, I can wait inside or at the drive thru. 3 mins later the register was working. I had called in my meds days ago! Not one medication was ready when I got there! They tried to tell me I didn't have any. It seemed like they didn't give a crap. If you are not going to be kind and helpful get out of working in any retail store! Paid to have a perscription mailed on the 23rd. got a text from them that they were putting it back on the shelf on the 26th if it wasn't picked up by the end of the day. tried to call and was on hold for an hour and no one picked up. I also called the "store" line on a different phone and they took my name and number and said they would have the pharmacist call me back. Not impressed. I have only used this CVS for about 2 months. I called in a refill. The next day (yesterday) received a call for the automated device to pick up. I went in today and they can not locate any record of a prescription for me. Said I could wait 30 minutes (after standing in line for 10 minutes), I say "No, I'll take it somewhere else." While still in the parking lot, I receive another automated call to pick up my non-existent prescription. This place needs to get its act together. read more

I will always come to this CVS rather than the other ones close by....... No matter when I go I am always greeted with a smile and a nice welcome! Even in the middle of the night when I sometimes shop since kids are sleeping! If I have ever had an issue with anything such as extra care coupons or a return the General manager John does an extremely wonderful job making sure that everything is taken care of!! Horrible Pharmacy!!! Was waiting at the Drive-Up window for at least 25 minutes, had two cars in front of us and one at the window. When the one at the window pulled off and the next one pulled up to the window, they immediately pulled off. The car in front of us pulled up to the window then took off laying rubber and blowing her horn. When we pulled up to the window we were able to understand the frustration, they had closed the window in the middle of the day. When we decided a couple days later to go get the medication I called to see if the window was going to be open, the person I spoke to said they close the window for lunch from 1:30 to 2:00, BUT when we were there before it was after 2:00. Anyway, point is their website says "open 24 hours" and I'm thinking they all don't have to eat at the same time and why was the window closed on people waiting in line at the drive-up window after 2:00. made an appointment for a flu shot for 7am 10/21- showed up 5 mins early - waited 20 mins and the one person in the pharmacy - told me he was alone and had to wait on everyone. He had a line of cars at the drive through and another person came to pick up an RX after I arrived and he waited on him first. I had a great experience last year - this pharmacy is no longer great. :( This pharmacy needs more help - they are totally overwhelmed. read more

I have to stop using this pharmacy. They are overwhelmed and never timely. I wait 4 hours for a prescription to be filled and when I go to pick it up, they say it's not ready and they will expedite it but only after they shut down for lunch for an hour. So, in the meanwhile, my daughters pink eye gets worse and worse thru the day. Last time I came for my son, same thing but then when they expedited his order, and I came back a second time and waited in line again for another 15 minutes, they told me they are out of the medicine and I need to wait 3 days until they get more. Meanwhile my son is in pain. I had to go to another pharmacy - so that was more time spent waiting. And they are not nice about it either. Rather, they are just annoyed that I am there. It's time to quit this place and work with a friendly provider. I don't mind waiting, I understand employee shortages, but at least I would like to be treated kindly when I'm on the receiving end of bad news. read more

Update: Husband stopped on the way home to get my 3rd prescription for them to tell him it was OUT OF STOCK!! And they can't even get it!! The worst! ABSOLUTELY THE SLOWEST PLACE! Waited in line for 30 mins after coming back 2 and a half hours after dropping off my prescriptions they said would take an hour, get to the window and they only have 2 of my 3 prescriptions and then say oh we need verification for the third... I look over where the photo station is , and see the person that works there just chillin in a chair and looked like he was sleeping , deon was the name of this person and he was rude , he huffeed at me when i asked him to put money on my chime account kept cclicking his teeth at me when things did not go as smooth as he wanted then while i was leave i said thank you have a good night he just did not say anything and i heard him say something that sounded like he was calling me a dumb white boy all while he was wearing his hood and sun glasses. read more

Have largely lost confidence in this CVS Pharmacy to provide basic services. My prescriptions are regularly delayed or lost in electronic communication and they call my house to tell me prescriptions are ready when they haven't been filled. More recently, they repeatedly sent email messages to remind my family and and I of our scheduled booster shots but when I arrived, they informed us that the shots after 5:00 pm were cancelled. read more

I scheduled an in person visit thru cvs website. Got email confirmation. Within 15 mins, I received a phone call from someone at the clinic site telling me "there was a system glitch and I couldn't schedule during lunch hours from 1:30 to 2" And the person told me to come at 2pm. Then, the same person called me back withing a couple mins and said the got it wrong and that I should come at 1:40 as I originally scheduled because they would be there. So I drove to the CVS. While driving, I got a text that said my appointment was canceled. I called the phone number and spoke to someone in a remote location that said my appointment was canceled. I told her someone from the Pasadena Clinic called me and told me to come at 1:40pm. The remote worker told me it was canceled and she couldn't transfer my call to the actual clinic. When I got to the clinic, one clinic office sign said there was a patient in that room. The other office said they were at lunch. It was 1:40 when I got there. The clinic signs said lunch hours are from 1:00 -1:30 on Saturday and Sunday. I was there on Sunday. I waited until 2pm in case lunch was actually still in progress, even though the sign said 1 to 1:30. At 2:05, the office with a patient was still in progress, and the other office was still not open since "lunch". I knocked on that door. The LPN answered. I explained my situation. She said she was the person who called me, but there wad "glitch". So my visit was canceled. I explained my frustration and asked to still be seen since she actually called me and told me to come. She said she had to check with her provider and closed her door. I waited another 5 minutes, and she did not come back out with further information. So I left and took my business to a different establishment. I will not be returning to the CVS minute Clinic again. Poor communication, wasted my time and gas going there, and no recourse. Urgent Care facilities are opening everywhere. Shame on CVS for not recognizing they have competition and people have many choices! read more

The store manager John needs to be fired! He was rude to my husband. We are reporting him to corporate. Hey John hope you like you've been reported to Human Resources! We've filed a complaint against you. You should be hearing from corporate soon! My husband tried to return something. Even though he didn't have a receipt the manager John (lets just get his name out there) refused to look up my credit card info. So in turn we have called corporate and they were able to pull it right up. So not only do we get a refund...the district manager will be paying John a visit and he will have to explain why he refused my husband good customer service and why he lied that they've never sold a thermometer there that I purchased. I have never complained about anyplace before but I have had a very hard time with this CVS. I just can't understand why all the problems can't be fixed. It was bad once before then seem to get better. Now we are right back to being bad again. I have decided to leave and head to the new Walgreens on Mountain Rd. First how hard is it to fix the recording machine. First it tells me I have already picked up my meds when I haven't even left the house then it ask would I like to pick up my meds on the 22 or do I need them sooner the date was already the 26th. I use to get a call or email when my meds were ready now I get nothing. I know its a busy pharmacy because of the doctors office next door but I think that just might change if something isn't done soon. read more
