This is exactly what we got at Arnold Professional Pharmacy. They are able to compound which has been especially helpful with young children. If there's ever something we need to talk through with the pharmacist, they are thoughtful, responsive, and helpful. To me, they have been a great extension of our healthcare team for our family. I have never felt any kind of pressure or discomfort here as a customer. The service here is top notch: the staff knows everyone by first name, they're incredibly courteous and conscientious, and if they can't fill a prescription for you they will work diligently to find a pharmacy close by who can. They also understand that insurance can be tricky and the cost of maintaining health in America presents its own challenges, so while they can't dictate the cost of medications, they try to make it as easy and as painfree as humanly possible to get what you need. They also have a solid selection of other things you might need in a pinch and are super knowledgeable about the pros and cons between different brands / products. Not to mention they also have little things like a section dedicated to the community featuring books from local authors. I respect that a lot. When people talk about the benefits of choosing smaller local businesses over bigger companies, I immediately think of places like this little pharmacy. My experience here is that they really care about their backyard and those of us who live here.

This CVS has been understaffed too long. There are always long lines. They do not automatically fill new prescriptions sent from my providers. They missed running a new prescription through my insurance which cost me $80. At the time, I assumed the rx was a brand name and not covered since the other two prescriptions I picked up at the same time had a $0 co-pay. The next time I picked up that same RX that I paid $80 for, it was covered in full and there was nothing I could do to be refunded for the previous prescription. Recently I picked up another Rx that was truly not covered but they showed no interest in checking for the best discounted amounted. I declined the rx and found it Amazon for 1/6 of the cost at CVS.

Both departments were pretty small, but I was surprised to see them because I have not ventured outside of the store's main areas. They appear to have two self-checkout areas, one for groceries and the other for general items. The self-checkout near the grocery department only allows 10 items or less. The signage is posted, but the people in front of me with a big screen television and a cart full of other items were not happy about moving to another line, after being removed from the line by the attendant. Overall, the staff members are not very friendly. I was looking for a specific item, so I asked the woman who was stocking the area, if she could tell me if they had the item. She responded, but she gave the impression that she did not want to be bothered.

Not even open, and they billed my insurance. Yeah, we're definitely done now.
