I don't understand many of the negative reviews. Is this versus other pharmacies? Insurance rules the roost for most decisions. Switch to a different CVS or different pharmacy and see if your experience is different. Their two pharmacists explains issues and decisions when I ask. The staff has gone searching for coupons when my insurance doesn't cover or fully cover a prescription. read more

Waited in line for 12min 642pm for them to close the window on me at 7:02 and not give me my daughter's prescription! They should be finishing the line regardless ! My daughter had an allergic reaction and needs this medication! Went inside right away when they closed window on me! They couldn't care less, told me to go to the 24hr one. No manager on site! If I could give you all 0 stars I would !You are heartless POS! read more

CVS Pharmacy - Shows I was in line at 648 - Drugstores Near Me - Severna Park, Maryland

if I could give 0 stars I would. my Rx was called in as 90 days. the pharmacy changed it to 30 days without contacting me. I've tried everything to change it back. on the app there is a button to do this, but in my experience of using it 4 times, it is useless. when you call CVS pharmacy, it is impossible to speak to someone other than a voicemail. I have called over 5 times and left messages. I never get a call back. my Rx is never changed to 90 days. this must be one of the simplest things a pharmacy can do. they can not do it. I guess I will have to go in person, seems ridiculous. in my opinion, never use CVS pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy staff here might be the worst CVS in anne arundle county you gotta call a billion times to get ahold of someone just for them to tell you to wait another 5 minutes to confirm your prescription idk how it can be in such a good area and have such terrible service read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Pharmacy attendant at drive thru is rude and a liar. She asked if I needed the prescription "today", this was for a child that could not stop throwing up. Then she told me that they were out of stock, while at other CVS they had informed me thay they had the prescription already filled. She said that if I wanted to get the medicine I needed to buy it at another pharmacy because they do not carry it. Then she shut the window. I came to buy the medicine at another CVS using paper prescription and they were able to fill it. She never bothered to offer a solution and she lacks empathy. This store is in urgent need for better management as I have been avoiding to have any refills at this location because there are always issues at this location. Bottom Line: This brand new CVS just opened around October and offers all the normal stuff one can expect from a drug store in a clean and bright atmosphere. This new store is clean and uncluttered. The pharmacy is located in the back right hand corner or you could just cruise through the drive through. In addition to making trips here for prescriptions and OTC medicines, there is a good selection of candy, cards, cosmetics and other stuff. This stand alone CVS is located at the corner of Ritchie Hwy and Earleigh Heights Road. Soon Harris Teeter and a variety of otherr places will open in the strip mall located immediately behind this corner store. read more

Just picked up prescriptions. One was for ClearItin generic the other for a drug covered on my insurance. First thing - Loraradine is an Over The Counter medication, does not require prescription and is not covered by insurance. None of this was mentioned before filling the script. I worked at a pharmacy for 5 years and we would never fill an OTC prescription without notifying the patient that they can buy it, normally cheaper, without a script. We have Clearitin at home. Next issue, The other drug is covered on my health insurance formulary for a listed $5 copay, CVS charged significantly more. BTW CVS/Caremark is the pharmacy manager for my health plan. read more

Horrible service. Left on hold for 30 minutes just for me to drive up there no one is busy and prescription isn't ready. Their just riding the clock to get paid for nothing. read more

Arrived on time for 5:30 Covid booster, checked in, and sat and waited ... and the staff basically ignored me - really big waste of time and perhaps bias. read more

Best Pharmacy in the area!! Pharmacy staff is nice and very helpful. The front store is nice, clean and organized

My prescriptions are never ready when I arrive, been like that for months. When I arrive, they always say that it's being processed, even when I wait hours to pick up. Once I waited 6 hours and it still wasn't ready. It's obvious they only begin to fill once I arrive. Just once I'd like to show up and have my prescription be ready and also be treated like I'm not stupid. Also, not the employees fault, but the store is in a cell dead zone so forget about calling a doctor or logging in online. Will be switching pharmacies asap. read more

The Store is well managed. The pharmacy has huge staffing and people skills issues. They act like they're doing the customer a favor. Of course I've been fortunate and had someone nice on occasion but it's so bad that this is more of a surprise than an expectation read more

Probably my favorite CVS in this area. Clean and offers a great deal of options. Customer service is always on point. I will return to this location again and again even though it is a little out of the way for me. read more

Our insurance prefers CVS, so I feel like I'm being held against my will. So.... they literally do not fill your prescription until you go there in person (you can never get through on the phone). Even then, they say that you have to wait. When your child gets out of the hospital and needs a particular medication that evening, AND the doctor sent the prescription in the day before, you would think they would fill it. No. This is just one example of numerous where they don't fill prescriptions when you have multiple medications and one is out of stock. They just don't bother to keep you updated. The texts are ambiguous, then you go to your account and it says unavailable or pending with no other information. On top of that, they can be snippy and rude when you literally ask them how long it will be for the prescription to be filled. "I can fill it, but I'm talking to you." Yikes. I just cannot with this pharmacy. Here's to hoping another CVS further away can handle things better. read more

Absolutely ridiculous, in the drive thru line with only 3-4 cars ahead of me. An took over an hour to get up front. Like i understand some medicine need to be made but what? For one car stood in line for over 30! Minutes didn't move a single inch. Until about 40 minutes later. Finally make it up front. After hour and 40-50 minutes in line to give all my information, note* that my doctor already called to state i was coming to just be told can you come back in about a hour. My doctor called yesterday. I was picking up 2 things only. Other might think differently but now My day is back tracked a whole 2 hours. read more

Don't buy cat food here. They are charging a dollar a can for small Fancy Feast. Not just several cents above normal prices, but at least 25 cents higher. Fair Market price or Gouging? You be the judge. read more
