Not pleasant at all We are both guilty, your honor, He for surviving long enough after Being separated from his home and family Still anxiously waiting for him Frozen then sent across the world inside A container inside a plane Unceremoniously shoved into A plastic bag with complete strangers And sent to Whole Foods, A store I'm embarrassed to say That I shop in, where innocently And without malice, he waited. And I innocently and without malice purchased said shrimp, your honor Where he sat for a week or so in my freezer Probably thinking what the hell Until I finally decided to cook him along With seven of his compatriots in a dish I found on the internet called Easy Mediterranean Shrimp I live alone and spend a lot of time Looking at recipes online, your honor A pasttime I highly recommend over watching Inane shows on Netflix or YouTube videos Which I believe are the main cause for The loss of civility in today's culture I only ate part of the dish (it serves 4) Even alone I don't want to be seen as greedy Though it was quite tasty and I could have Eaten another serving. The Amazon shoppers are such an unpleasant negative presence in the store. They don't actually work…read morethere, as in they aren't customer facing employees and have no customer service demeanor or training. And they aren't customers either. They're a weird 3rd space presence of rude unpleasant bulky obstacles with excessively large carts that linger and block the aisles making it challenging and frustrating to access groceries and move about store. And they act like you are in THEIR way. If modern life wasn't already impersonal enough, they make the grocery shopping experience even more impersonal. They are rude, always have a mean unhappy RBF expression. They have a rushed urgency about them that makes the store feel hectic. It's obvious they don't want to be there. They don't want to talk to you. They're not technically employees that you can ask questions. They park their cart blocking groceries and its not obvious who's huge cart that is to ask them to move. They just bring a negative funk to the whole place. And to top it off most of them are likely not people who would regularly shop at Whole Foods. Amazon has introduced a whole other socioeconomic demographic of non-customers/non-employees present in the store changing the atmosphere overnight. I'd wager there are as many Amazon shoppers as regular customers they are the majority in the store. Its a take over! the store is unwelcoming to regular customers. I am absolutely tired of dodging these mean unhappy non-employee non-customers interfering with my ability to get groceries. Final straw, I'm done with whole foods

It's halfway between a grocery store and department store, serving as the only place the families who live nearby without a vehicle need to get all of their groceries, unless they can manage the bus which would add costs and another hour to their trip. This was the 2nd or 3rd time of me going inside. Today I wanted one thing a friend suggested I buy from there since their prices are so low. Yes, they are good prices, but the atmosphere is dreadful, products on the floor and in the aisles, just a simple mess all over the store. Dark lighting provided to add to their special ambience. I could have given all of the above issues a pass, but then going to pay for my item I notice a long line waiting to pay for their things. There was only one self-checkout open and one checkout register open with an employee, but he said he only takes CASH?! That is very odd. There were three groups in front of me and it was going to take too long, so I put my item back and walked out. I'd rather pay 40% more than deal with that again.

I'm thankful that CVS is a nationwide drug store chain with many locations across the USA. With that said, I arrived here on a Sunday morning in late January 2023 from Harrington, Delaware. I needed to purchase things that would help me recover from an incident that left me with lower back pain. CVS usually has a lot of the everyday stuff most people need on a daily basis, usually food and other household items that are essential for daily life. My experience here at this CVS location in Annapolis, Maryland probably took no more than 10 minutes, as my friend and I looked for what I needed and checked out to do other things in the city. The store itself reminds me of the ones we have back home in Honolulu. I guess they arrange the store a certain way, so any CVS location looks all the same, no matter where you are. For the most part though, the ambiance felt like a grocery store type of vibe but not really. As weird as it sounds and the pain from my low back at the time, it was nice and enjoyable to be here trying to find the quick solution to my medical maladies. The service here was good and friendly, while being typical and professional at the same time. Just want the pain to over! The overall experience here at this particular CVS Drug store was good and casual. The store itself was arranged in a way that you could find what you were looking for within 10-15 minutes without help, which is what my friend and I did that January 2023 day. This CVS is pretty cool And located in the center of town, where the state capitol building is nearby. They have quite the assortment of things you'd normally find at the neighborhood drug store, which CVS tries to be everyday. I am familiar with the CVS name since they have locations in Honolulu, HI. During my experience here in Annapolis, Maryland, the purchase of pain management products were at the top of my shopping list of the day. I also purchased a drink and offered my friend one too, since she was driving me around. CVS carries both name brand and generics, when it comes to pharmaceuticals, as well as food products and other everyday items, so that there's some disparity and the customer has some bit of choice as far as what to buy and what the prices are. I didn't think that the store itself had central air conditioning but then again, I was there in late January - winter time but balmy. It was a good visit under interesting circumstances. While I preferred to have come here for other things, it is what it is. Pain management is a real thing for many people and for me, I'm glad that CVS was there to meet my needs. This CVS location is centralized at 123 Main Street in Annapolis, Maryland. It's on the main drag of the city and near the state capitol and the US Naval Academy. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash. There is mostly street parking here and luckily for me and my friend, we secured a spot directly in front of the store on a brisk Sunday morning before 9am. It was pretty cool. If Annapolis has a local bus system, you can use that to get around the city and get here if you need things. From out of town? Use Amtrak or greyhound for a cheaper alternative. If not, Uber and Lyft works too. CVS is a well established brand and you can be sure that they will have what you need everyday! 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the service and 5.0 stars for being open before 9am on a Sunday morning in January.
