I went to Starbucks today at this Safeway, and the employee was extremely rude. A short…read morelight-skinned woman with curls and a septum piercing. Like, beyond rude. Firstly, I am waiting in line; she is the only employee working at the time. I cut her some slack as it is around 7:15 in the morning, and this position can be overwhelming; however, she is insane. I have been in line about 15 minutes, and me the customers in front of us are being ignoring. She finally stops cleaning her supplies, and takes the customers order in front of me, she walks away before she can ring him up to pay, another 5 minutes of her cleaning, then she checks him out. She then proceeds to halfway make his drink, and comes back to take my order. I order, and I have to re-order 3 times due to her refusing to listen. I finally ordered a sugar cookie latte with a pump of vanilla. While I am speaking, she interrupts me to ask if that's it, and I say no, and she rolls her eyes. When it is finally time to pay, she walks to the other side and continues making the customer in front of me their drink. She then proceeds to leave it about 75% done in the blender. She walks back over and rings me up. She is being rude to the people ahead of me, and even a sweet older woman who asked her if this was her order, as she was having trouble remembering because she also failed to create a label. The older woman asks her, "Is this mine, dear?", and the employee says, "Does it look like yours?" with an attitude. The older woman proceeds to say I am unsure, and the employee ignores her and walks back up to the register. I am in the waiting area for 18 minutes at this point, and the barista has made the customers behind me their drinks and forgotten to make mine. When she has made I ask her simply, "do you have a time estimate as to when the sugar cookie latte will be finished?". She replies with "does it look like I'm done, okay then?". I simply ignore her, and then she starts making the drink, she had not even gotten the syrup for the latte out, and she literally tells me 2 minutes later, she does not have the ingredients to make it, and what other flavoring she can use. She forgot to make my drink, did not apologize, and when I gave a friendly reminder, she gave me an attitude. She then proceeds to make my drink and hands it to me, dripping, and also forgets my cold foam, which she then just uses whipped cream to replicate. I did not even have the chance to ask her to fix my drink, as I paid for the extra cold foam and flavoring which I did not receive. I say "excuse me," and the barista simply walks to the register again and proceeds to ignore me. At this point, I leave because it's been about 34 minutes in total of waiting for my beverage, which I did not even receive.

The bakery...ok let me tell you about the bakery...I don't usually feel comfortably explaining what I want for a cake or cupcakes so I just order something online or buy whatever is there. I met with someone the other day (Monday and again on Tuesday) that really gets it. She is an incredible baker and dare I say "artist"?! I had a big company event and wanted something unique that included a tropical theme and the company logo. She spent so much time with me and even let me come back midway to check in on things. When I picked it up, WOW! It was better than I expected. Her tropical flowers are amazing and the pull apart cupcakes were perfect. Everyone loved them. Such a successful event and the cupcakes were a hit. Thank you soooo much! I'm sorry that I can't remember her name but I do want to compliment the entire bakery on their kindness and helpfulness. Beautiful bakery and kind employees. I'll be back! Oh did I mention the price? $20.99 for each pull apart which is fantastic. I am grateful.
