Great Wegman's with lots of products. Price can pricey for some items but more affordable for others. Staff are helpful when I have questions looking for items. Space is laid out well with lots of clear signage. A good clean store that I can come to for most all my grocery needs. read more

Wegmans is ok, a few good deals in groceries, and such, but nothing to look forward to. I tried their hot food bar, very expensive, like a very small portion of Asian take out was higher than the cost of a full meal at an Asian restaurant, including sides and soup, but nowhere near as good. Cafeteria level food at exclusive prices. Groceries are average or lower quality at best. Food Lion does better at half the price Wegmans tries to be upscale, by offering higher end products, but they really just offer the same stuff at higher prices. read more

I was really impressed by how clean, organized, and open this Wegman's felt. The staff were welcoming and friendly, even though we zoomed through the store fairly close to closing. I stocked up on a good handful of pantry essentials - appreciate their store brand value items that offer solid quality at a very family-friendly price. I was particularly impressed by their protein offerings, loved seeing so many cuts of pork (which was on my list to pick up that evening). On previous occasions, I've been to this Wegman's to pick up food from the hot bar. This is my favorite Wegmans location for many reasons. The first reason is, they have free feminine products for women who can't afford tampons or pads and having to be on their menstrual cycle in all of the bathrooms so that I had an incident once what I needed a tampon ASAP I was able to make it to this Wegmans to the bathroom right before my underwear were completely soaked in my menstrual period. When I came out of the restroom, I think one of the employees saw me and kept asking me. Are you OK? Are you OK? And I said no my underwear and pants are ruined. She took me back in the bathroom. Help me wash them in the sink and another bathroom and helped me dry them so that it didn't look like I had a wet spot after trying to clean up my menstrual cycle. She told me it would be OK because I was also in tears and embarrassed one of the customers who had a child with her, the child hugged my leg and said it's OK don't cry. The food is amazing at this Wegmans if you get one slice of pizza or a whole lot of pizza it's amazing. The food bar is amazing. Wonderful choices top notch. It's sold out just about every day. I always miss it sometimes cause I forget they close the hot food bar at 2 PM and I always get there at like 215 or after two but they have some wonderful choices in the refrigerated section right next to the hot bar which I love. I am vegetarian and pescatarian so they have wonderful options and you can heat them up there at the Wegmans and use their microwave and eat after you pay for your food or you could take it home and fix it. They put the correct sauce and seasonings with the correct things even though I don't eat sushi one day they were doing a taste of the sushi they made and I will admit the rice roll that I had salmon roll was amazing. I really enjoyed it after I took the avocado off. It was really delicious. I love the staff that works in the pizza area. All of them are wonderful amazing and they make you feel welcomed I even know a few of them by face that I waved and say hello too. This Wegmans also keeps some stock of BU outlined water other Wegmans that I've been to are always out of stock this one always has some kind of size of PU outline water which I love I rather be you and then my second is Smartwater outline version, but I always get BU when I'm in this Wegmans at least six bottles. I love the fact that the Customer Service is amazing. I love the choices that this Wegmans has. I love the flower shop when they have Peonies during the spring time summer they're getting ready to come out and that's a flower that only lasts a short time. I love the fact that this Wegmans carry Sugar Bee apples. You can't find it anywhere else at any other Wegmans the Sugar Bee apples are amazing. I love the fact that this Wegmans carries the otton Candy grapes my son loves those even bc myself as much as I don't like grapes in the texture. I will eat at least two of those grapes when I buy him some I love being a Wegmans customer this Wegmans and the Giant on Annapolis Road are my favorite places to shop and the ambience of the store is amazing. The store is always clean and everything is displayed properly and the workers take pride and working at this. Wegmans and I take pride allowing them to be amazing and I love being their customer. I've always found my visits to Wegmans to be fun shopping trip. The seafood and meat market sections is always a big selection to view and purchase. Prices are comparable to other grocery stores and Wegmans has its sales, same as others. I've been going to the store since it opened. And one thing I always laugh about was how the prices keep going up unless as if they're like how high can we raise them until they stop buying? For instance, used to be six dollar meal and you picked your meat and sides now it's prepared and now it's over $14. But that's not why I'm writing this review. We purchased a number of cupcakes prepackaged, and three hours later had to return them. Customer service returns, including the manager, said they could not accept the returns because it is a perishable item. I asked where was that written they showed me a long document with one single line that says perishable items are subject not to be returned, so I asked the manager so your store is all sales final besides your hardware items. She said no only perishable items. I kindly replied well that's 90% of the store. I think I'm done with Wegmans. They were great for a long time, but they're overpriced and greedy. I was in Crofton to see my podiatrist. Appointment was over at a little after 12 and I put deli into the GPS. Wegmans popped up. I took the 3 mile drive to a store I didn't know existed. I found the sandwich counter and was looking at the menu. It has been updates since last I had a sandwich. Danny's favorite, medium size. I added pepperjack cheese, cucumbers, mayo, lettuce, black olives and pickle chips. The bread and meat were very fresh. Toppings were very good as well. I love watching how he takes care of his customers, and he does it with the utmost care. I love Wegmans. Maybe even more than Whole Foods. Their seafood is great. So is the meat department. A lot less inventory here in both areas than Whole Foods, but it's comparable quality without feeling like you need a second mortgage to shop here. I buy my cod filets here for $6.99 a pound and it's much thicker and much better quality than its counterpart at Safeway/Giant for the exact same price. Same with the catfish filets. Their king crab legs are above average size for $30/LB. I pick up beautiful pink sea scallops, rainbow trout fillets and wild-caught Gulf shrimp. Speaking of wild caught, like most all seafood here is v. the farm-raised stuff most other stores tend to carry. Their bone-in thick cut pork chops are lovely. Artfully trimmed. Very large & well-appointed produce department. They even have big bags of those cotton candy grapes that are delicious. I love their sushi also. When I'm not at a sushi bar and I have to buy grocery store sushi - Wegmans is it. Comparable quality, surprisingly. No overwhelming usage of rice as tends to be the case when purchased at non-traditional venues. Same with their pre-assembled meals, fruit trays and baked goods. Terrific quality and care in prepping. Great to pop in the oven or the microwave without feeling like you're buying "grocery store" food. You could easily pass it off at a party as your own if you were too lazy to cook lol. Be sure to replate it okay? Lots of durable and non-durable national brands mixed in with others you may not be as well acquainted with. Cashiers are friendly and efficient. They often take the time and pack your bags and put rubber bands around all your containers that might open or leak in transit and even tie your bags off so there's nothing falling out. It's an overall quality experience and you can definitely feel the difference here. Abundant parking. Heavy duty shopping carts & plastic bags - even those are better quality than most places. Really nice grocery store situated in a shopping center so you can get all of your everyday items in one spot. The store is always well stocked and the staff are friendly. Someone is always available to help you find what you need. Also a plus that the building is attached to a cute liquor store so you can quickly pick up wine and such after shopping. read more

It's a decent Wegmans. Good customer service. Food in hot bats that's exactly edible for human consumption, pre covid days. This store seems to be a lot bigger than other MD stores. Produce is always neat, organized and well stocked. Lets talk about the bakery! Do not come here on an empty stomach, you shopping cart will be full. I am a big fan of their cold pressed orange juice. Thats my one splurge item here. Its expensive but so is a Starbucks latte. Seafood department is always having the freshest oysters and scallops. There frozen bags of scallops are just as good too. Roistterrie sp Chicken is good, if you get it early afternoon. If not, forget it!! However, I do have to knock a star down, for their sushi, its just awful. Rice is just gummy and fish is cheap and old quality. What I like about Wegmans is that they seem to carry a lot of International foods Spanish, Thai, Chinese, Indian etc, unlike Giant or Safeway, they would cram all that into one aisle. I love coming to Wegmans! It feels like a plus-up experience. The staff are knowledgeable, and they carry lots of options. I really love the cheese section and the floral department always has fresh arrangements to choose from. There are disinfectant wipes at the front for sanitizing your cart. It can get busy during high-traffic hours, but it's such a great place to buy groceries if you're not on a budget. They also offer lots of prepared meals! Ample, spacious parking is available. I don't rate grocery stores. I'm here to rate the cafe food. Wegmans sandwiches are way better then subway, and any other delis I have previously seen in the area. The service is always incredible, the man working there today was very friendly. We ordered two large sandwiches, I got the danny's favorite and my brother got one with assorted meats and cheese. We both rate these sandwiches five stars, delicous bread, and wegmans' special sauce is to die for. Always come here when I need a hardy sandwich to take with me before camping, traveling, and more. This was a very large store and I felt it was laid out in a way we were able to easily pick up what that was. There is a pick up and go pre made food section. And we are recently plant based and were looking for options in the vegan arena. We found an entire row in the fridge and in the dry good section that was specific for vegans, I thought that was totally neat. They have an incredible variety of vegan cheeses and mayos and faux meats. We came here specifically to pick up some impossible ground meat, and we made burgers with it and it was amazing. The produce section was nice and the milks were also a lot. The one thing I had trouble finding was no or low salt added beans. All their beans had sodium that was so high. They only had red kidney beans that were low sodium... so that unfortunately didn't work out for my bean needs. But everything else was great. They even had a home goods area section that had such a great variety and even electronics and canning supplies. Super versatile. I will definitly go back, but only if I have time to shop with patience as it's just a large store!!! read more

Sadly, this location has gone downhill very quickly. We lived in Gambrills for 18 years and so when Wegmans came we were delighted. We no longer allocate the lion's share of our food dollars to them anymore. Today, sushi is inexpertly cut and the white cartilage is left on one side, making it chewy, gross and almost inedible. Not only that, the prices have doubled for no reason. There is no shortage of ANYthing, ANYwhere, folks, and I hope people come to realize this fact. Prepared meals have been reduced in size (and quality) and price increased by at least 25%. Most of the items we used to buy there are no longer sold, or have been converted over to "Wegmans Brand" I have to wait weeks to replenish anything, from food prep gloves to Manuka Honey to certain organic package foods like gluten free pretzels. Wegman's fruits and veggies in the deep past were adequate; today they literally are frozen or kept overlong in storage so that the day I bring them home they are literally rotted an hour later. Worse, Wegmans has incorporated back-breaking policies to increase their bottom line - in the form of INCREASING prices on Friday and preparing huge portions of packaged fruit, lettuce etc so that one is FORCED to purchase a bag of (already rotting) onions in order to have a single yellow onion for cooking. Ie, one cannot buy a single onion, or 3 potatoes, etc. only a large family-sized bag. Honestly Weggies, you're on your way down and out like Rome. Management ought to be talking to people like me as consultants because it is clear to anyone with a high functioning brain and a Big Picture view that you have become "unsustainable." We buy beautiful salmon at Aldi for EXACTLY the same price as 2019. Shortage? Delivery issues? No. Shame on you for no longer giving any f**ks. read more

Wegman's catering provided an incredible spread for a small wedding we had at our house yesterday.. They were efficient... no waiting and the food was incredible. The people who delivered we on time and would not accept a tip, although I did not tip on the original invoice...my bad. I will always use Wegman's in Gambrel's/Crofton you all my needs. Great job! On their website they say they have plant based meats in stock but in store they're not on the shelf. I asked two employees and they could not help since both individuals just said they were new and couldn't help. As a Buffalo transplant, it has been sad to watch this place go downhill so quickly. I am not sure how anyone can get a full shop in, when the shelves are so empty all the time and they do not have common grocery items. On top of that products they are selling are more expensive than you see at Giant, Harris Teeter or Aldi. Could have been better is being nice about it, since I had to go to another grocery store after to get what I need. The sub shop is still solid, but outside of that, I am not sure I can continue to support this store....Maybe the others in the area are better, but this one is a dud. read more

This is only for the recent bad experience I had at the sandwich counter because most of my experiences at Wegmans has always been good. The other day I ordered a small meatball hero (yes I'm from NY and we say hero). Sylvia begins to make my sandwich and it all went downhill from here. First, I asked for sesame white bread, second she didn't change her gloves. Her coworker told her to change her gloves before she gets in trouble. She expressed a serious attitude towards him and he told her he is just trying to look out for her. She reluctantly changed her gloves. Never told him thank you or anything along those measures. Then she puts the meatball on my sandwich. Yes I said the meatball as in 1 meatball! So I said something because mind you I just had the same sandwich the day before. And yes I shop at Wegmans frequently. So back to this 1 meatball which was cut in half. I asked Sylvia why the 1 meatball? She responded with an attitude and said well on a small you only get 2 (meaning 2 halves). Her coworker told her that the small gets 2 WHOLE meatballs. So guess what Sylvia does? She puts my sandwich down and walks away with an attitude. Wait really??? You just not going to make my sandwich? Now I'm trying to keep calm because that was inappropriate and rude of her. She comes back over and I told her that she has a really bad attitude. She responds with saying that he's getting on her nerves. I said why because he is trying to help you understand the correct way? Anyways it's still going downhill. We haven't reach the bottom yet. When I got in the car, I was so hungry I took a bite of my sandwich. OMG! It was super cold. I watched her place the sandwich in the oven twice. First to heat up the meatballs and second to heat the sauce and cheese. I thought it wasn't in the oven long enough but I trusted that she knew. Ironically the customer before me had the same sandwich but it was the large one and it looked delicious. And one last thing, remember I ordered sesame white, I received the Everything bread. You know like the Everything bagel. Never again! Well at least never again will Sylvia make my sandwiches. read more
