This is my favorite Dollar Tree. I would go out of my way to get to this one. They are always fully stocked on Christmas decorations, ornaments, whatever the occasion. They try to have at least two cash registers open. Which is not bad considering some of the other locations I have been to don't always have what I want and just one register open. Hay ... it's a $1 dollar store ... wait, that's no longer true as now it's a $1.25 store. Place was clean, well lit, and had more employees than I normally find in a Dollar Tree. I really like this location. In my experience, it is always well stocked. There is always something extra to find. I specifically like the occasional home organization finds. I went in for one item and left with three bags, which was not the intention. The employees are helpful when asked. The store is organized and they are always restocking, especially in the early mornings. There is ample parking in the immediate vicinity, as well as the perimeter of the location. read more

I hate stores that do not let you use the bathroom, and this is one of them. I was literally in line to purchase items when they denied the request for my young child who was dancing around because he had to go to the bathroom. So even as a customer, they still refuse. That's a great way to show that you could care less about your customers and fellow human beings. read more

I love this Dollar Tree. The employees are very friendly and the store is always stocked. Can't really comment on the pricing because everything is the same price. One dollar. lol. The general crowd is middle class to high class. You barely see any kids yelling or babies crying. 90% of the customer base is adults. They share a parking lot with the shopping center so plenty of parking and everything. The only downfall is during rush hours such as around 5pm the lines get very long and they usually have like one or two cashiers. But still overall a very good store. read more

Probably the best Dollar Tree I've been to in the area. Stocked very nicely and the store is reasonably clean and tidy. It's hard to beat their prices for holiday decor and basic kitchen things. This location has a sizeable section of frozen food and I also saw hotdog buns, fresh bread and bagels. read more

I'm surprised this location has so many stars. I recently went here early in the fall season for some of their decorations that received praise on social media, only to find they had only one of the things. Further, the store was a mess and only one young man was on register. He wasn't pleasant and frankly I can't blame him! I wouldn't be happy being the only one on when the line was as long as it was. I'm willing to consider that a bad day, and come back. However, I don't have high hopes for this location. read more

Why spend $5 for a USB car charger at Walmart (or $10 at Target) when you're just going to leave it behind in the rental car? Why spend $8 for a pair of reading glasses when you're going to leave them in the drawer? Two reasons why I have no problem with stopping in a Dollar Tree where everything really is a dollar (though some are two for a dollar). This store had the Halloween stuff out because it's not yet Christmas season here. Too many boxes on the floor not yet unpacked and shelved. My checkout clerk was friendly and efficient. read more

This location is out of the way but if I am in the area, I may run inside to see what is "calling." If you are staying at a hotel in the area or need snacks for a road trip, you can find some good deals. There is a frozen section with fish, shrimp & beef. The cleaning supplies are decent. I would use the napkins but probably not other paper products. If you have a birthday or another occasion, you can get a helium balloon for $1.00. My mom's lasted for about 5 weeks (it became a contest to see how much "life" was left in the balloon). The only inconvenience is having boxes of products in the aisles that haven't been put away yet and you have to be creative with a shopping cart. The cashiers are super nice. read more

I am a huge dollar tree shopper. They often have a lot of things for one dollar that would often cost $3+ elsewhere. I often come here for little knick knacks and candy. They have so many things under the sun here. Kitchen items, home items, snack food, frozen food, cards, wrapping party, pretty much any small item you could want. Make sure you bring your patience when you come here. Lines can be long, both due to lack of employees and the number of items people buy. But, for a dollar per item, I'm not really complaining. read more

I live in the area and have gone to this location several times. This location very rarely have what I need and the store isn't clean. You would think this place would be in stellar shape and well stocked... NOT!!! On the other hand the Dollar Tree on 175 exceeds expectations! read more

My Bestie/Roomie is a Dollar Treet junkie. And by association, I have become one too. We have three within a couple miles of us. There is a decent on near us, a better then decent one a little ways aways, and a horrid crappy terrible one. This one -- in Hanover is another store all together! All I can say is wow! It is next to Arundel Mills where the husband works and let me tell you... it is dyno-mite! Clean, well laid out, and they have nice stuff. I mean it isn't filet minion and Martha Stewart but has wonderful things that you need in your every day life that is of good quality. What makes this one the BEST is the size, the cleanliness and the staff. I was always a fan of the DT now I LOVE the one in Hanover. read more

FANTASTIC!!! I love this dollar store! They stay well stocked, clean, and the staff is about as nice a group as I've encountered anywhere! The ONLY downside is sometimes you have to wait in a long-ish line to check-out, but that's it. We've recently started over in the area, and this place has been vital to our outfitting the new place with household cleaning items, etc... They even carry flax seed- FLAX SEED FOR A DOLLAR! I don't get what all the hype is about. It's definitely not the cleanest or most well stocked dollar tree I've ever been to. Christmas decor was pretty good, but that's about it. A good dollar tree or a good 99 cent store is defined but how many brand name items it carries I.e. Brand new products being promoted by companies @ a lower price, or discontinued products from drugstores or mega stores. This place had very little of that. Maybe I went on an off night, I'll try again. All dollar trees at least have the best prices on party supplies & some cleaning products. Super long line for the cashier & the parking lot is not big. read more

Best dollar store I have ever been into! It has everything ...best part is that it's all for a dollar! They have brand named foods, candy, toys and other things. Only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that the employees will watch one cashier take 8 customers backed up in line rather than opening up another register helping that cashier and helping faster customer service. read more

Seems like every Dollar Tree I have been to is different in some respect. There are bigger ones like in Laurel (messy, dirty) and Glen Burnie (not too bad; staff is friendly; relatively clean). There are smaller ones like in Highlandtown (gross, rodent infested, rude staff) and Columbia (decent but cramped). And then there are these medium sized ones like in Severna Park (nice) and the one here in Arundel Mills. Every staffer says the same thing though: they want to do better but they are not given enough payroll to get the job done. The Arundel Mills store seems to balance things better than the others. It was well stocked and clean. There were enough baskets and carts. Roomy enough to shop easily. The people were nice. And by the time we were ready to check out and the lines were long, they opened more registers. The parent company should use this outlet as a model (and close that sh**h*** in the Highlandtown section of Baltimore before the health dept does) read more

I needed over 30 wine glasses and I spoke with Catie and Tammy. Tammy pulled the glasses from the shelf for me and even carried two boxes out to my car. I understand the store was short staffed but I absolutely loved the level of customer service. Very professional and friendly. I'm in here pretty often, and they always have great items. 5 well deserved stars to Tammy and Catie. They didn't let me down and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. read more

This store is a bit messy, and unorganized.. but they usually have what I'm looking for-- from birthday parties to the different holidays & seasononal decorations.. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars are because some of the dollar items aren't really a value, they are specially sized or off brands.
