I really love seeing places like this because you never really know what will and will not be in stock. Walking through the isles, the prices are solid (I mean it's a liquidators), the products are a plenty. It felt like they had instant pots for days and the prices are more than reasonable if you arnt too focused on the packaging. However I was told that there would be a space for larger sizes appliances but did not find those.

Bargain hunters, you need to go here. We stumbled across the store while walking around Fell's Point before lunch. There is a main floor with everything - kitchen equipment, food items, furniture, beauty items (like flatirons, electric curlers), etc. All marked down. We were here Saturday, which was a basement deal day, I guess. So we were able to check out their sale items there, and there was some good stuff. I had to use all my willpower to not walk out of there with stuff. It's a no-frills store, but organized. I recommend it to all bargain hunters, thrift store shoppers, and the like (my people) if you are in Baltimore.

It's impossible to go in this place and not find something you like at a great place. My coworker told me about Scratch and Dent, because I'm always eating granola bars and she knew they had them for a great price. I went to the food isle and saw various big boxes for under $10. I got a box of 60 granola bars for $6.75. I also got a filled pancake pan that's $14.99, but was on sale for $2.99. The only downside is that things are little unorganized and somethings don't have a price. They do have very nice workers who don't mind finding out the price for you if you ask. Overall this place is great and I'll definitely be back.

This is when I really wish Yelp had half star reviews. This is 3.5. I recently read about this…read moreplace in the newspaper and somebody told me it was viral on TikTok so I stopped by for lunch. This is near the old Cocina Luchadores restaurant. It's not in a good part of fells point and even during the day it's just a little dicey. I love a hoagie, especially from a bodega. The staff was really helpful. You have to order at the register first, even though it feels like you can go up to the food counter and order. They do have cash discounts, which is really nice and they do take tap. What was really cool about this place was the fact that they have more organic snacks, they have the Siete brand and others from Whole Foods and I was obsessed to find diet Dr Pepper as someone from Texas. For a convenience store it's bright it's clean. It is alarming because the register area is completely sealed off with windows. Be sure to check the prices as I notice some of the healthier chips like the Parmesan crisps had already expired or were expiring the next day. The prices are really fair and I appreciate that it's in the neighborhood. Now the hoagie. The 6 inches actually quite massive and I couldn't eat all of it, but there was just something totally off about the sandwich. I think it's Italian dressing that they're using it was just wet and overall just lacking flavor. The bread was also kind of dull (odd choice but that's what it tasted like). When I was eating it at home, I tried to add some jalapeños and pickles to make it better but overall it was just really one-dimensional and not worth the hype of the sandwich. They also will not take any modifications on the sandwiches - it states on the menu! I will say it is a very good convenience, store, and the fact that they have diet Dr Pepper makes me really happy. you often do not see diet Dr Pepper in a lot of places.

They I tried The Godfather and The Frank Lucas. Listen... The Godfather was THAT sandwich. Flavor was on point, bread was fresh, and everything just came together perfectly. I could eat that one every time, no lie. The Frank Lucas was cool, but I think it's just that I'm not the biggest fan of pastrami. If that's your thing though, you'll probably love it. It's stacked and definitely gives "don't play with me" energy. The whole vibe was just good, quick service, quality food, and they clearly know what they're doing. Don't sleep on this spot

I also could see as more residential buildings are opening in the area, how this goodwill will have the potential to improve. The value is okay, definitely not great. Especially considering the limited quality selection. And to be honest, from the simple questions I asked about wanting to donate items, the staff seem beyond under enthusiastic. They could barely tell me how to donate. I'll come back to donate, but probably not to buy or search for anything. Realistically, I'd rather drive all the way to Towson, as that goodwill is infinitely better!

We break them quite often, but that's okay because we never buy them new. We grew up thrifty and there's no shame in that. In fact, I totally recommend thrift stores. Why would you pay full price for something that you could possibly get for $2? We've been in this store before, and truthfully, it's not my favorite. It's incredibly small compared to most thrift stores I've frequented, but it was convenient, and we did accomplish our goal. Four black plates for less than $10. The woman at the register said that if we had been seniors, we could have gotten them 60% off because it was Wednesday. That's something to keep in mind for my older friends. Still, I love a deal, and in this economy you should too. Thrift Life FTW
