Hours: The store is only open on Saturday and Sunday 1-5 p.m. for shopping. Monday - Friday you can sell your items to the shop or call ahead to make a reservation. Service: Service here is great! The owners really know what's in inventory and will help you find what your looking for. I found an antique glass celebrating bugs bunny's 50th anniversary. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with unique finds. If you find an item you want to buy, take it to the front and the owners will hold your items behind the counter while you continue to browse. I loved this store so much. It was so stuffed full of stuff that you could easily think it's more trash than treasure, but my friend and I walked out with beautiful gems that we'll keep forever. Don't whine about the limited hours, just come on by when they're open and let yourself enjoy the spectacle. read more

this place just plain rules. i was so bummed i didn't get there earlier because i only had 30 mins to poke around, but the shop owners were so kind and patient, and knew their stuff and could tell me if they had the random things i was on the hunt for or not. great place for all kinds of vintage and antique goods, unique nicknacks, a little bit of this and a whole lot of that - and priced either very fairly or for a STEAL. this place far exceeded my expectations and my gal pals and i are already planning a day trip to return and have plenty of time to peruse this time around :) read more

A jeweler. A glorified hoarder? Maybe all of the above ;) Part curio shop and part antique store, The Antique Man is a great place to spend a few lazy weekend hours. While you can certainly come here for furniture and curios, the true value of this place (and the inspiration behind my Hamlet-esque soliloquy) is in their vast collection of costume jewelry. This is the best place to score unheard of deals on classic and unique vintage pieces. In particular, I refer you to a large table in the front center of the store holding a mishmash of rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, etc... for $1. Numerous glass display cases hold even more options at higher price points, but never outrageous. So shop away my fellow fashionistas, shop away! Hours (only downside to this place): Saturday and Sunday, 1pm-5pm. The Antique Man is truly Baltimore's museum of oddities. Little snippets of time- preserved for all to see. What an awesome place to stroll around. Sooooo much crazy/cool/weird stuff to see. I think this will be a great "I'm-bored-what-to-do-today" filler for me now that I know about it. Although it is a bit far since I'm on the other side of the harbor. I imagine every time you go back there would be new things. And the $7 case held a lot of temptations for me! This is exactly the type of antiques store we were looking for. The gentleman that runs the store really loves Baltimore and has all kinds of items covering the history of the city. He also has quite a unique collection of sideshow items that aren't for sale but are fun to look at including a two-headed 12' mummy. I disagree with the review by Danny though as I don't feel like I was watched by the sales people at all. We actually found them to be very nice people who really enjoy talking about the items they carry. We must have gone around the store about 5 times and I'm sure we still missed some things. You've got to keep your eyes moving in all directions because things are displayed everywhere. We've purchased an awesome set of theater chairs from an old burlesque house in Baltimore. There was also the small handmade bear that an 80 year old woman had own all her life. We've bought a few other items too. They are willing to bargain a little and have very reasonable prices. We've gone two weekend in a row and we plan on going back over and over again! read more

A messy warehouse of cabinets upon cabinets of antiques. Granted, there are plenty of interesting things to be found (carousel horses, old fashioned kitchen equipment, furniture) but you have to do the legwork/the digging to find them. read more

I loved this antique shop. I want to encourage others to go to The Antique Man shop. Trust me you will not be disappointed. If anything you will be amazed at all the awesome antiques and they are reasonably priced. They are located on Fleet Street near Wolfe Street. Open Saturday and Sunday only from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Good place to go and past your time, you will find something that may remind you of your childhood days or something you're parent or grandparents had. Go and enjoy, I did. read more

Such a cool place! A friend had recommended it to me because I'm looking to decorate my new house in vintage industrial pieces and boy was this the place to find it! So much cool stuff, definitely something for every person interested in odd/antique/collectables! The people aren't overly friendly (maybe because it's freezing in there). What an oddity. They have lots of horror tributes and carnival inspired artifacts among the trash and treasure. The sales people watch you like hawks- otherwise I would have purchased the Edward Scissorhands painting or the two-headed chicken art thingy. read more

Prompt call back garners points,but the "We will travel anywhere in Maryland and there isn't an attic or cellar that we won't route through to buy your stuff." is only true as long as the anywhere in the state is in Baltimore.
