I purchased it over twenty years ago and have loved it ever since. Came across Objects Found on a happy accident. We were traveling to check out a boutique store and being unfamiliar with this area, I missed the turn. So I decided to turn around on a random street and there she was: a small building with various inviting pieces laid out around the entryway in the parking lot. Garden objects on a Sunny early spring day - It was like a magnet to me! Inside I found heaps of gorgeous home furnishings, fine china, vintage wares, tools, art, trinkets and some clothing too. I could spend hours in there simply exploring. I didn't even get to focus on the jewelry in cases at the front desk, but there's always next time. The space was bigger than I realized once inside and they make great use of the space. I couldn't imagine nicer people than the two ladies who checked us out. Definitely check it! read more

Objects Found is a great little antique shop located in Catonsville, Maryland. They are located just off of Frederick Road in the business district area of Catonsville. This place is a pickers paradise. They have antique and vintage stuff piled up a mile high. Many rooms to explore. The prices have gone up in the past few years but they are still reasonable considering that the price of everything has gone up. I can easily spend an hour in here browsing. The ladies at the counter are very friendly. They have parking in front. Clean bathroom inside for customer use. I wish they would clean up the stuff piled up in front of the store as it is starting to look quite messy as seen in my photos. Otherwise I love this place! GREAT place to find estate jewelry, vintage prints, vintage clothes, knick knacks, old furniture...new location combined 2 previous locations so now there is TONS of stuff everywhere in a 2500 sq. ft. building! The owner (Reggie Sajauskas) prices things to sell and is responsive to offers. She is also VERY kind and sweet!!! When i mentioned finding a sweet piece of 1930's furniture at the local Goodwill store for pennies but had no vehicle to take it home in she said "Oh you should have called me- I've got a van and I'm always willing to help out here and there when i can- you should have called me!" ?!?! I could not have fit my wheel chair down the main aisle so I was forced to use my knee cart which also couldn't fit after I was about half way in. I had to back out of the store. I make it a point to stop in here when I'm in Catonsville, which is about once a year. The store, like most good antique stores, is crammed full of all sorts of stuff. One room leads into the next and I kept getting turned around. The prices tend to be pretty good, at least much better than the bay area! I debated about the merits of a brown lucite purse, and then decided that the three I already have are enough. My hons of hons husband was so proud of my restraint, I tell you. I ended up with an Audobon-style print, which I collect. It's a beautiful example, in wonderful condition and cost $8 - score! I would give OFAS a total score of 2.5, due to the attitudes of the people who work there. Objects found is a hidden gem in Catonsville. A refuge from Ellicott City antique shops or 6AM estate sales, Objects Found does the work for you without exponentially raising the price. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. The multi-room store has so many pockets you can spend hours there. Unlike some vintage shops Objects Found never makes me feel like I'm loitering and really has the best prices around. Whenever I visit my family from NYC I try to get my fix for shopping. The store is 11+ rooms, and there are a ton of treasures for anyone looking for nice things. Prices run to the high side for most of it, but they're willing to negotiate depending on the item. Like most antique stores of this type, the stuff-to-space ratio is pretty high, and with essentially three storefronts occupied, it can take some time to get through. I love thrift stores, and this store is PACKED head to toe with stuff...love it. It's like a hoarder's paradise, with rooms leading to more rooms. You have to be careful with your bag in order not to knock things over. Scored a beautiful egg-shaped vase to store my makeup brushes and a cute broach for Mom. I have been unsuccessfully looking for a chandelier for our dining room for a couple of years. I wandered in to Objects Found and meandered through endless rooms, staring at ceilings. Quickly, an employee approached and asked if he could help. I told him I wanted a chandelier, but I didn't know what I wanted. He asked me to describe the room it was going into. A 200 year old log cabin. I He led me up the stairs and to a room which had EXACTLY what I wanted, only I didn't know it ahead of time. Our dining room is long and narrow, with exposed beams and what I bought was a stained glass oblong 2 globe lamp which probably was over a pool table at some point. Perfect shape, perfect color scheme for our home. How much better does it get to find a shop which knows its massive inventory so well that an employee can lead you to what you didn't know you wanted?? This is a can't miss place! Debbie read more

I chanced upon this quaint antique while driving back from thel. Walking in can be overwhelming as every inch of the shop is covered with posters, lamps etc. I went with my boyfriend and he found some beer posters and old coins but everytime we checked the prices, they were way out of our league especially coming from a thrift shop. I am not at an auction house so I was not expecting these high prices. We found a handcrafted glass ash tray for $10. I will give this place 3 stars since the store associates were not helpful and the prices were too steep. read more

This place is full of wonderful surprises and bargains! I have literally spent hours in this shop and find the store owner (Reggie) and her staff friendly and extremely helpful. If I am looking for a particular item, she usually knows if she has it and where it is located in the store. I also like the way the store is laid out, with similar items grouped nicely together. My latest find was a pair of opera gloves in perfect condition, ready to wear to the Lyric on Friday. I generally browse the shop with a friend and have lunch at one of the area restaurants. Then I go back to the shop and browse some more. Highly recommended!! read more

I love stopping in here to browse and also find the best vintage items at great prices. I usually go about one or twice a year. I purchased a beautiful brass nautical-style mirror along with other items on Saturday September 27, 2014. Upon check-out the clerk helped me load everything in my car. Once I got home and unloaded I looked for the mirror and could not find it. Eventually I moved on and I thought I misplaced in my house somewhere during fall cleaning. On February 10th, I get a Linked In request from the owner of Objects Found. I accepted the request and the next morning received an email from the shop owner to let me know the clerk had mistakenly forgot to put the mirror in my bag and they had it since September 2014! The shop owner used social media to track me down - they only have my full name I assume from my credit card, no cell phone or other contact information. Linked In is the only social media site I use my full name. She was apologetic for the oversight and I was absolutely blown away that she went the extra mile to find me!!! This store used to be on the main street of Catonsville (Rt 144, Frederick Road), but in the past year or so moved around the corner to Egges Lane. They have a great selection of china, crystal and serving ware from a variety of countries as well as tchochkes. Pricing is very reasonable. I second the reviewer who noted that they don't have a lot of furniture. There are some items there under all the other stuff, but smaller items are definitely the focus. read more

The first time I spotted the OBJECTS FOUND sign at the old Frederick Road location I couldn't believe it was true! An entire store dedicated to found objects and hidden treasures? My heart skipped a beat and I longingly passed the store every time I drove by, promising to bring a friend to spend the day looking through all the possibilities.
