UPDATE: I still enjoy shopping at Aldi however this location seems to have a big crowd shopping there thus lots of the shelves and produce are empty or overly picked through. I've been traveling a bit further to another Aldi location. I've heard about Aldi before from multiple people on social media as well as those you tube video of people trying to live the frugal life. I had to check it out! When I was researching which location to visit, I picked the Pasadena location because it had better reviews as well as the location to my home. Also I heard the Glen Burnie store is much smaller. When you first arrive you have to give a $.25 deposit for a shopping cart. Genius! At least the will get people to bring the cart back. The first isle you go in when you walk in is the snack isle filled with nuts, cookie, chips, etc. don't go in hungry, you might fill your cart with snack items before you even get to the veggies. The prices are great and affordable. Good selection of fruits and veggies. Service was great! Overall, we got a shopping cart full and paid about $100 which I'm sure I would have paid about $200 at Giant. read more

Wow the Chickpea Salad was my favorite item from Aldi, I would go to several locations just to stock up on this item, today I came home looking forward to enjoying one of my Chickpea Salad when I peeled the sealed cover off and lift the lead, Wow look what I discovered, I had to review the expiration date in which it states 06/21/ 2025 Oooooo No Never Ever Again will, I shop at Aldi again, supposed I did look at the dish before eating my dinner ( UNBELIEVABLE) here are the proof read more

I love that they have self service! It saves so much time. They do offer one cashier if you don't want self service. The ALDIs in Severn, Maryland doesn't have self service so I prefer to shop at this store. Most times the store in Severn may have one cashier and a line. The food is great and I appreciate the prices even compared to the Walmart across the street. The Caesar salad is $2.98 at ALDIs and across the street at Walmart the same salad is $3.98. With the drastic increases in food prices it pays to compare pricing and see what your best options are. The customer service is very good. read more

A nice Aldi's. The set up inside is a little different than what I'm used to, but not in a bad way. They have everything a normal Aldi's has and the shelves are nice and organized. The cashiers are speedy, which I really appreciate. read more

Had basically everything I was looking for. Quick lines and polite staff. Not as chaotic as other Aldi I've been to. The bagging area can get a little busy but that's not Aldi's fault. Parking is hard to come by depending on time. read more

ALDI is definitely changing the game. The selections of organic foods and snacks has been growing. Produce is better than any other grocery store in the area....(freshness wise). The only weakness is that the fresh, raw meat selections are not very appetizing. read more

Totally love shopping here... Go once a week just be aware they never have hand sanitizer so be sure to bring your own the machine always seems to be Empty!! Some of the shoppers get a bit aggressive for some reason at this location so just be aware and prepared to walk away!!! read more

Aldi is amazing. The employees are always kind. In all of them, but I come to this one frequently. Not sure how they manage to always have nice employees? My only wish is this one would get a wider and bigger selection of the"aisle of shame" items. Seasonal goodies are so exciting and I can't always get there the first days. Man, I really love this grocery store. It's VERY basic, and they pretty much sell "off" brands, but the prices are amazing, and the staff is really hard working and nice. The store is clean, and the items are well stocked. They also have produce and a ton of frozen foods, as well as bakery items. I've been shopping at Aldi's for years, ever since they came to the area, and I truthfully don't know what I would've done without them. Bare bones, but I like that. All the other big name grocery stores pass off the cost of in-store Starbucks and fancy decor to the consumer. Aldi keeps it simple and gives me what I want- cheap groceries without the filler. This location can be a bit dusty at times- dead house plants still hanging around, unswept floors, produce rolling around. But the cashiers are nice and kindly explained to me the bagging process when I appeared confused. I also like how its right next to Goodwill. Sometimes I'll run in there and get a new book to read after grocery shopping. After I get my produce at the farmers market (it's cheap, and local there) I get my cereal, off season produce, milk and frozen fish at Aldi. Then I head to Big Lots to get snacks and all the other odds and ends. Its what we do save money and Aldi is a big part of our monthly budget. read more

I love this Aldi...clean, convenient location, and low prices on food. I typically come here to buy basic groceries and finish my shopping at another store. Aldi is the real deal. I am not sure if many know this but Aldi is a sister store to Trader Joe. THIS speaks volumes in my book. I love that they have an Organic line of foods also -produce, dairy and shelf/boxed (quinoa,etc-). Certified Organic. They also have a Gluten Free line that is quite diverse. The only thing that they do not have is fresh herbs and some other commercial items. Aldi has the same policy as Trader Joe also - if you do not like it (even if it is a single serving and there's an empty box) - you can get your money back [w/receipt?]. This is great especially with our kids ever-changing taste buds! :). Their non-grocery items are great also. From hanging flower baskets to all-weather outdoor wicker chairs - they are the most reasonable and good quality. I cannot say enough. Just try it - and don't get hung up on the fact that you "rent" a cart by putting a quarter in (returned to you upon receipt of cart when shopping is completed)- or that it might not be as esthetically pleasing - IT'S GROCERIES. Get out of your own way and save some money! :) read more

I am a 75 yr old disabled Veteran trying to survive on disability payments. Aldi advertised strawberries at $1.49 for 1 lb box. Aldi had only 1 person on the floor at the 1 checkstand open. I asked to use the basket at the checkstand to get a package of strawberries. .He never mentioned that the store was out of that item. I walked in pain all the way to the back of the store to find the strawberries. The only packages there were not ripe but I picked one anyway as I had driven more than 5 miles out of my way past 20 other competitors to get the RIPE strawberries pictured in your ad. At the checkstand I was charged $4.49 because the same clerk said they were "Organic" There were NO signs where the strawberries were to indicate organic. I asked where the $1.49 strawberries were and he had to call in back to find out that they were out. This being my first time at your store, I was unaware that Aldi does not give rain checks and that the extra small print ad stated limited supplies, UNLIKE EVERY OTHER GROCERY STORE IN PASADENA.!!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ALDI AGAIN!!! read more

Cheaper than most other grocery stores in the area, but selection/variety of ingredients is a bit lacking. I really feel that this place proves "you get what you pay for" when it comes to their processed foods. Their raw ingredients are okay too. Good budget shopping happens here. read more

No frills grocery store that does a very decent job of selling affordable staples. I especially like it for pantry goods (cereal, chips, crackers and cookies all are about 1/2 of the brand names at most grocery outlets and just as good). Milk and bread (including bagels and tortillas) are also very cheap. Come to think of it so are things like hummus and most of their fresh fruit. A careful shopper can save a LOT of money stocking up here. I'm picky about some foods and haven't quite decided about a few items (frozen veggies, canned beans and cheese I prefer to buy elsewhere). If you want trendy decor, a latte and piped musak when you shop you won't find it here. But you will find groceries at great prices. If your first time: A) Bring a quarter (to insert in the cart handle to release a shopping cart, you get the quarter back when you return the cart to the corral) and B) bring your own grocery bags or pick them up underneath the conveyor belt before you reach the cashier (they charge something like 5 cents a bag). read more

I love love love Aldi! My family has a new favorite grocery store. $50 for this weeks groceries to feed a family of 4. Now keep in mind I already had meat for the week at home in the freezer that I caught on sale last week, but still, what a steal! The tellers at check out are always so friendly. The only negatives are that you have to either bring your own bags or snag boxes to pack your cart. Kind of genius business model for then though. Small disclaimer, I love Aldi! I've shopped there in several states where I've lived over the years (Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, and Maryland). This particular Aldi has a nice staff and good selection. They typically have the cheapest milk prices around (we usually save around 1 dollar per gallon) and offer amazing products at much cheaper prices than brand names or store varieties. How much savings, you ask? We used to have a grocery bill around 120 to 150 a week shopping at Safeway or Giant. 200 if it was a special occasion or we hadn't shopped in a while. At Aldi, the highest bill I have EVER HAD was around $100 and my cart was totally full. There are certain things you cannot purchase at Aldi and other items you might want to think twice about (ground beef), but most of the deals are incredible. We went from a bill of over 100 per week for 2 people to easily being able to feed 3 under 75. And most of the time we don't feel like we are missing a thing. read more

I went to Aldi's this past Saturday and was assisted Michelle, a cashier who clearly has a very strong background in customer support as well as a comprehensive knowledge of Aldi's products. She did an excellent job handling a return I had in a busy store environment. I really appreciated her upbeat and focused approach and when I stopped to compliment her before I left, I heard the manager (who happened to be close by) praise her afterwards and share that she was doing a really good job. That's what I love to see -- good prices and selection, customer-oriented staff members and caring managers. Will return again soon. :D read more

I love grocery shopping here! It's quick and convenient and the prices are the best! I especially appreciate the lack of magazines in the checkout. I have two young daughters, and most grocery stores sell objectifying and unrealistic body image at every checkout aisle, but Aldi is magazine free and that matters to me a great deal. read more

This is my first time coming to an Aldis, and since I knew that it was owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe's I was a little excited but left disappointed. I would say that this store is for the extreme penny-pincher and anyone willing to work a little harder to save extra money. Their cart system is kind of genius and keep the parking lot free from shopping carts. I wish that other grocery stores would make customers leave a deposit in order to use a cart. The quality of the boxed/frozen foods isn't worth the hassle of bagging or boxing your own groceries. You can't buy produce here because most of it is rotting on the shelves. read more
