    Chicken Pot Pie
    Ivy L.

A great place to find almost everything farm fresh fruits and vegetables, many options for local handmade accessories also amazing selections of pies desserts and hot food! Their chicken pot pie is delicious, you can tell it's perfectly homemade with thin and flaky crispy pastry with enormous fillings! We also try the combo package of chicken and 2 sides of pasta. This combo package can feed well 2 adults and 1 lil kid! We always get apple cider from here after first trial. Their apple cider taste so fresh a lil bit sweet and tart at the same sip, and there's no after taste like all those from big store! You'll never disappointed, give it a try! Yuuum

TLDR: Epic farmers market with amazing deli and prepared foods. Go for their sandwiches, pot pies and rotisserie chicken. Shop around for fresh produce, local snacks and spreads while you wait for your order. Finish by eating your goodies on the back patio overlooking the countryside. Vibe: 5/5. Located in a renovated barn, this market is very clean and organized. Inside you have several areas to shop for produce, snacks and seasonings/spreads as well as the prepared foods counters in the back. Outside you have a greenhouse and back patio with tables, perfect for sitting to indulge in your purchases. The back patio overlooks the farmlands which in itself is a sight to see. Parking lot is large and easily accessible for everyone. Service: 5/5. Everyone at the market are very nice and provide prompt service. The prepared foods and deli counters can get awfully crowded at peak hours, but the staff are always hustling to make sure everyone is served in a timely manner. Checkout is a breeze as there are usually 3 registers running. Food: 5/5. This market puts out quality everything! From the prepared by order sandwiches to their produce and butcher, nothing has ever been below excellent. They roast all of their meats in house as well as bake all of their breads which takes their sandwiches to another level. The deli counter also has fantastic shrimp, rotisserie chicken and potato salad well worth taking a pint home. But make sure to leave room for dessert because all their sweets are made in house and taste amazing. Make sure to follow them on Facebook as they announce daily specials throughout the week that are not to be missed (some of the best chicken pot pie I have ever had). Grocery wise, they carry alot of local brands such as Roseda Beef, Stoltzfus, Taharka Ice Cream and Uncle Henry's Pretzels just to name a few!

From farm to MY table! Chicken, carrots, snap peas, red potatoes and green onion.

Ahhh-mazing! Everything here seemed to ooze freshness. The prices are great, especially for the quality. Service was excellent if a little hurried. Turkey, chicken, eggs, milk, assorted nuts and pretzels, fruits and veggies for days - the list goes on. For seven bucks I had a meal in the making.

It's unorganized and honestly, again, just stupidly expensive for what you're getting. Save yourself the time and find any other grocery store. The only benefit to this place that I can find is it's open till 11. Other than that, not worth your time!

I popped into Safeway recently after hanging in Canton for a bit…read more I roamed the aisles getting the items I needed, but some I didn't go for because they were exorbitantly priced. The issues started at self-checkout. I wanted to remove an item, but that required customer assistance. There were 4 (not 1, not 2, not 3, BUT 4) Safeway employees standing nearby and NOT ONE OF THEM even looked in my direction. I stayed in place for a while before getting frustrated and decided to leave all the things right at self-checkout. However, self-checkout is blocked in...and so are other areas in this store. As I was attempting an exit near the front of the store, something beeped at me when I approached some mechanical arms. Eventually the arms opened and I was able to leave, but what is even going on at this grocery store??? Really glad I don't live in Canton because I wouldn't want this to be one of my primary stores.

So, I was looking for some turkish products like pepper paste, bulgur, maybe some turkish desserts…read more The closest turkish store to downtown is about 30 min drive, and as someone who doesn't have a car, the cost of uber doesn't justify going all the way there. I saw this store nearby and I wasn't sure if it would have the products I am looking for. So before I went there, I called and asked. The owner was really nice, answered the phone and checked the products for me and that they have it available. I quickly went and got the products. They are reasonably priced. If you are turkish and in need of some basics and leave close to downtown, try this store before going 30 min drive to other turkish stores. There is a chance you may find what you are looking for.

From their collection I was able to find Sadaf products (US based high quality Iranian brand that sells Persian food), dough (Persian drinks and other yogurt based Persian drinks, Persian treats and even saffron. They have also lots of arabic brand food such as Roni (canned juice with pulps) that is amazingly yummy, european chocolates and variety of international cookies. There are frozen ready food of both ethnicity as well offered in this place. These are the unique products in this store but they also have a whole lot of generic food that one can find at any grocery store. They have a limited variety of produce so i would not recommend to go here for vegetables and fruits more than tomato, onion, and bell pepper.

Was looking for some affordable local flavors. This was a cool spot…read more AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking for the most part, typical for this part of town. Seating: Indoor seating with room for about 20 people inside the market. Vibes: You're right in the heart of Old Town / Fells Point -- the touristy but charming part of Baltimore. I dig the vintage brick roads, the historic feel, and the mix of locals and visitors passing through. The space sits inside a lively market (1640 Aliceanna St) with that true Baltimore seafood vibe -- casual, approachable, and full of movement. It's not fine dining; it's flavor-first, no-nonsense, and welcoming. Great for a quick grab-and-go or to sit down for a casual meal. FOOD/DRINKS: Crab Soup (A-Ok) Simple but hearty. It reminded me of a tomato-based soup with crab mixed in -- nothing too fancy, but warm and satisfying. I appreciated the richness and good amount of crab meat. I'm more of a clam chowder fan, so next time I might go that route, but this was still solid. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Quick, friendly, and efficient. The staff clearly know what they're doing and keep things moving without losing that personal touch. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Good prices, solid flavors, and a classic Baltimore seafood feel. Sal and Son's Seafood isn't flashy, but it's genuine -- a go-to for a comforting bowl and a true local experience. I'll be back to try their other dishes next time I'm in the area. TIPS: * Check what's on special -- they rotate and have plenty of combo options.

The food at Sal and Sons is very good. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is…read morebecause our fries were cold. It's probably because one meal was simple (crab cake sandwich, fries), and the other may have taken longer to cook to order (shrimp and chicken jambalaya). Otherwise, we were absolutely satisfied with the food. The crab cake sandwich was on point. The creamy crab soup was flavorful, creamy, and worth every bite. The shrimp and chicken jambalaya was also executed well. Also, I highly recommend trying the fresh fruit drinks. We got watermelon and pineapple, and "refreshing" doesn't begin to describe how good they were. The service was straightforward and to the point, which works for me. The establishment is located inside of a market. We went on a Sunday, so this was one of the few eateries open. I'm imagining that it is probably more jumping on other days. If I'm in Baltimore again, I'll definitely consider visiting again and exploring more of the menu.
