We had a great experience here recently in the clothing and electronics departments. It was pretty late in the evening, and the mister decides that he "needed" to buy and pick up a raspberry pi that day, which was only available at this target location. He called and was able to have it set aside. Once we arrived, the guy in electronics was very friendly and we got we went for... ...until I came across the women's clothing section and wanted to try on a blouse I saw on a mannequin. The lady in the area was super friendly and said I shouldn't hesitate to try something on (apparently, others have said the fitting room was closed even though it doesn't until the store closes). I tried on a couple sizes, but they didn't have my size on the rack. She was very helpful and checked to see if it was in stock at the store. I mentioned that it would be funny if it was on the mannequin, which it was! She was so sweet to take off the one on the mannequin and I was able to buy my blouse. :) read more

Great location and great store! They've added tons of new plus size options and there are even plus size manequins! The best part is the plus size clothes aren't in another section. They are right next to the size smalls. And they're so cute. Amazing! I wish more stores did this! The prices here are all over the place, and you won't even know it until you go to checkout. The shelf prices are rarely correct, and often lower than what will ring up at the register. They apparently are shifting floor staff to do the curbside/in-store pickup shopping, so making sure that sale notifications get taken down after the sale is over, and updating shelf prices when they change is apparently low priority. I am just tired of my at-register cost being 5-10% higher than I anticipated because of the prices being wrong. When it's just one or two things, I've been going to customer service or asking the person at the self-service register to fix it (or just returning the item), but later, it's the majority of items in my cart instead of just one or two. read more

Based on a handful of experiences, the store is always clean and staff are courteous. It's never busy when I go either. I sometimes go out of my way to go to this Target bc the experience is much more pleasant than at the Target nearest my house. read more

I do curbside pickup now because its easier for me being a senior citizen. my last pickup I ordered two items.One of the items was in a small box but the box contents was completely empty when i got home. What i dont understand is how the Target shopper didnt realize it was empty because when i took the box out of the bag it was light as a feather.clearly you could tell it was empty. I submitted a target online complaint and didnt get a response back.I was forced to drive back to target and stand in line at the counter with many customers to get my issue resolved. i normally don't review chained business, unless its an extreme experience (very good or very bad). This review is for my visit yesterday that was unexpected good. This isn't my go-to Target, and I was really unfamiliar with the lay out and I was in a rush. I ended up having to ask two store staff the locations of some items I was looking for. I was only expecting them to tell me which aisle to go and get back to their task : restocking shelves that was heavily shopped due to holiday season (almost everyone I saw was doing that yesterday). To my surprise, both staff I encountered responded with a smile and walked me to whichever aisle I was supposed to go. It's not everyday when we see store staff drop everything they are doing and happily help customers during the busy holiday season especially when they aren't on commission!? Also, they knew the location of products which makes shopping so efficient!! This is probably the friendliest and most helpful Target experience I've had in recent years, and it is a huge contrast from the holiday shopping experience I had last year at another Target 10 miles away from here. As for other reviews complaining about the checking up process, Target overall doesn't open as many cashier lines nowadays. Go with the self-check out, it's always faster there anyway. I hope this particular location keeps up with the friendliness, and helpfulness also sense of urgency!! :) read more

I would like to say "Thank you" to KIELA who was so very friendly and tried to help me find a product. I was looking for a specific item and I saw her coming out of a door in the area where I thought I would find my item. I stopped her and told her I could not find this item and she said she had not punched in yet but would be happy to try and help me find my item. I was so impressed I had to take a picture of her name tag since I did not want to forget her name and how to spell it correctly. She did not stop looking until she found where the was located. She actually stopped another worker who looked the product name up and told us exactly where to go. Everyone always likes to complain but never like to acknowledge when someone does their very best so I would like to let Target know that I really appreciated her going over and above to help me. Shopping for supplies in target is always a pleasure. Crowd free, good selection and decent prices. The only problem encountered involved pricing. Items were placed randomly. Bottom Line: Well organized and stocked and friendly staff but the parking lot leaves a lot to be desired. I love Target. Who doesn't? My choices for Target are to either go north to Glen Burnie or south to Annapolis. What I really like about this Target is they seem to have a good selection and the store layout is very similar to other Targets I've shopped in. The common layout makes my trips for efficient. I also find that the cashiers are very friendly. The parking lot feels grungy to me and often has trash blowing around it reminiscent of a Wal-Mart. This never makes for a great impression but I think its probably par for the area. However, I must say that getting in and out of this Target is much easier than the one at Annapolis Towne Center. read more

This is a nice clean Target. It is close to my daughter's house so I'm here pretty often we stopped in yesterday to pick up some items for my newborn "Grandtwins". It is always neat and clean. Staff is friendly, most of the time I experience long lines but not on Valentines Day it felt pretty awesome to not wait around. The cafe sells Pizza Hut items and they also have a little Starbuck. Overall great experience less chaotic than the SuperWalmart nearby. read more

Used Target.com this morning to order paper products. I was given a delivery time from 1-2PM this afternoon. I indicated on the order that I wanted the delivery driver to text me upon arrival. That did not happen. When I looked at the paper towels, I found that the entire top portion of the package had been opened and very sloppily taped back together. The driver surely knew that he was leaving damaged goods on my front stairs, that is why they did not text me upon arrival as I requested. Needless to say I was angry. I took the damaged package of paper towels back to the Target store and told customer service about my experience and stated that I feel that the driver's behavior was sneaky to say the least. I received a refund. I have used Target delivery before, without any negative incidents. However, after this diabolical method of delivery, I will not use them again and I will warn my family, friends and neighbors about this experience. I see why Jeff Bezos has been so successful with Amazon.com. From now on it will be just me and Jeff. read more

I have to start by saying that i am an avid target goer so i was a bit surprised by what happened yesterday evening. It all started last night me and my fiance went to target to exchange a gift i had bought and to purchase a few more for Christmas. So we go to the customer service center and stand where i assume the line would be if there was a line to stand in. we waited for about 5 to 7 minutes while some other people were being helped with there photo drop offs and such, no prob right?...... you would think so, so then when the staff member was finished with there pics i assumed she would help us next. Wrong!, cause like i said there was no line when we approached the area. A women had stepped up to the area a little after us, and the staff member that was doing the pictures walked over to the desk, past us who had been standing there patiently for some time and proceeded to help the other woman behind us or rather beside us. I mean does where i stand in relation to the counter matter in the process of who you help next. common sense tells you to help the NEXT person, the person you have seen standing there for ten minutes. This incident will not keep me from going to target in the future, but i was highly disappointed by how this women dealt with expediting service to the customers in line hence the 2 stars. Had she not lacked this common sense i would be inclined to rate this a 4, but sadly.... no. read more

I go to this target the most out of all of them because it's convenient but honestly it "okay". The customer service it lacking the employees I've run into are normally rude. While I was shopping a group of 5 younger employees walked by together yelling and singing thought they were just shoppers at first being rude. Place: Convenient location just off of I-97. Parking is usually a little crazy but isn't obnoxious. Store layout is similar to other targets with clothing up front and groceries and seasonal stuff in the back. People: Staff is extremely friendly and is usually courteous. Cashier took the extra effort to interact with my son about the toy we bought. Seemed like a nice guy. Made me want to buy from these people. Products: typical department store stuff. Toy selection is good. Shelves are usually stocked. Floors are clean. No abandoned cart or clothing scattered around like in other stores. One stop shopping plus you get a 5% discount for have a store credit card. Price; a little more expensive than Walmart but I'd gladly pay more for the better service, cleaner isles, And good feeling I get whenever I go here. Overall: I went to this store without evening having a reason to go in. I've had positive experience here in the past and just went in to look at toys, clothes, and maybe a gift for the wife. This location is MUCH better than the one near Ordinance Road. The cashiers are colorful characters and tend to be friendly. There are a few unfriendly ones that really piss me off as I'm a Target Red Card holder and there often. I like the cute hipsters that work there! Again colorful staff that tends to be friendly- but NOT ALWAYS! Good clearance sections! The red tags ALWAYS get me! I love it! Also I don't really go at peak times so the lines are never horrendous. I used to enjoy this target because I find that the sales are better and they have a decent selection of items. But when I went the other day I was very disappointed. The Guest service desk was less than helpful. The young person that was working had the rudest and I don't care attitude, I felt like I had gone to walmart.Their lack of helping the guest needs to be reevaluated.Even the cashier was blah.I love going to target and have been shopping there more often . While shopping at the target with my 2 year old granddaughter, we found a toy that she was very taken with. When we went to check out, the message came up on the register "do not sell until 1/20." The clerk said he had never seen that before and called the manager. The manager grabbed the toy from my hands and said we couldn't have it. My granddaughter began to cry. It was a five dollar toy, there were several in stock, and a big snow storm was coming so I couldn't come back the next day (1/20). The manager could have done an override... it would have made my granddaughter very happy and I would not have walked away so upset. I am not sure why this manager was so nasty an unapologetic, but Target needs to vet their management more carefully. read more

I've always liked Target but this one gets on my nerves sometimes. Every, single time I go in there the men's clothing section is a hot mess. Carts with clothes everywhere, stuff on the floor, always in the wrong spot. The electronics area is even worse. If you're looking for cell phone, computer or media accessories, be prepared to hunt through all the shelves because again, no organization. Items are never on the correct pegs or correct spots and it has never seemed to be cleaned up. Pretty sure no one cares that works there enough to make it right so I am not hunting for items. The grocery, drugs and home decor are usually tidy. The registers, forget it. I haven't ever been able to go in there and not stand in line for 5 minutes or more to checkout. 10+ registers and it is usually only one 10 items or less and 1 regular lane open. I like going here because lets face it, Wal-mart makes you feel better about yourself due to the breed of people that are in there. And Target has better quality items, sometimes for less than everyone else. Plus, I have the Redcard which is linked to my checking account, basically a debit card. You get 5% off all purchases when using it which is great. Also, the Redcard allows you to shop online which still gives you the 5% off, plus free shipping which is nice. Only complaint I have with online so far is I ordered a headboard over 2 weeks ago and still don't have it when online said 5 days max. I guess if you're a type of person to shop using a credit card everywhere, then it isn't for you but I refuse to pay interest on items that are essential and not a luxury. Staff is usually helpful and customer service has always been fine. To sum it up, I will continue to shop here but I wish the store was better maintained. read more

Target is really starting to go south. It's unfortunate because at one time you could find really cool stuff in Target. They were organized, clean and well stocked. Now they're becoming more like the way Ames and Caldor used to be. Sparsely stocked, counters unorganized with useless junk and staff that just walks around clueless. They recently failed in Canada because of supply problems and now it seems the US stores are starting to have the same issues. Oh well, looks like back to Wal-Mart for household staples and other stuff. read more

I have a feeling people with positive reviews haven't added theirs yet, so here goes: I love this Target. The checkout people are always friendly and talkative, they have fresher food than the nearby Giant stores, have a decent selection of clothes or shoes (that I generally go to in case I need something quickly, or cheap) it's clean and well organized most of the time. Sometimes it can't be helped, like at Christmas, it can get a bit messy because everybody picks thru things and leaves a mess. But otherwise, I'd rather buy hamburger, chicken, produce, things like that, here instead of Giant. It stays fresher longer. They also have good deals on my kids' video games, books, iPod accessories, etc. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because they have a lot of different things in different categories/sections, but it's hard to find a variety of brands to choose from. For example, windshield wipers - they only carry Rain X, and they suck. :) That's just one example. But otherwise, I go at least once a week, and enjoy shopping there. read more

I love this target. Staff has always been friendly to me and I have never had any issues and I am literally there at LEAST 3 times a week. I am sure pretty soon the manager that speaks to me everyday will know my name soon. I love the characters in the pharmacy they are funny. I don't even use the pharmacy but by me always being in the clearance section I see and hear a lot. Every time I get close to the chips and beverage aisle I always get asked if I need help. I think that is great and hard to find in department stores these days. It doesn't get as crowded as the Ordinance Rd Target which I LOVE as a deal shopper. Accolades to Target for putting two stores in a Glen Burnie , MD. There retail presentation is always timely and well put together. Merchandise is a couple of notches up and a always a better alternative to their BIG BOX" counterparts. There Pharmacies are always reliable and well managed. The worst Target I have ever been to. First time in this area and using this target! First they barely have things in stock, the store is junky and an associate can never be found. I tried to use my newspaper manufacturer coupon. First, the cashier walked away for 15min had me and a line of people waiting. Then her and her supervisor came back with the target coupon policy book saying that they don't except coupons that have the same barcode. Which is the craziest thing I ever heard. If I'm buying 4 items that are the same you have to use the matching coupon. The coupon matches the product. They didn't even try to scan the coupon they just said no and that they have the option to deny coupons. It was very embarrassing. They made me feel like I was stealing from their triflin rundown store! I will never stop there again. If you have coupons beware they don't know their policy or anything about coupons so instead of taking time out to learn their policy they rather stay ignorant and deny you. Then the cashier caught an attitude when I asked for my coupons back. She probably wanted to use them!! Never had an issue with target or using my coupons until I used this target!! I really do not like this Target. They always only have one person on the checkout line and very rarely do the cashiers smile at you even though they should be fast and friendly. I prefer doing the self-checkout. The staff working at guest service are also never in a good mood. I tried to go to the Starbucks with a friend the other night and no one came over to help us. The food avenue was shut down even though it was more than an hour before the store closed. Just overall not the best experience. read more

High marks for the pharmacy department! Bruce, the pharmacist, and the rest of the pharmacy staff are fabulous. I went recently to get a prescription, and they didn't have it in stock. He called like 6 other stores to find it for me. Then another time I had poison Ivy... went and showed him, he popped out from behind the counter, and went up and down the aisles to help me find all I needed for a severe reaction. A very polite young man, wearing a Target shirt, asked if he could escort me to my car, then handed me a large umbrella. He following me to the car, using his own umbrella; as I was pulling out of my space I saw him approach a just-parked car so he could escort another shopper to the entrance. You only got 1 star because Yelp made me. Go here if you want to go to a pharmacy that doesn't do their job, where u get judged as a drug addict for trying to refill an anti anxiety controlled substance even though your doctor approved the refill. Have them throw it in you face that you had to pick up a prescription for a pain killer in the last 30 days for an oral surgery and use that as a reason not to refill it. Go here if you want to have to go in and yell at them every time you need a refill to make them physically pick up the phone and call your doctor or insurance company to give you a refill a week later after treating you like a Junkie on a medication that keeps you from being sick to your stomach everyday. I am a very friendly easy to get along with person and I do not like to have to be this way. I don't want to have to yell at someone every time I want to pick up a prescription. Save your self the grief and go to Walgreens around the corner where you won't be judged and helped with out you having to drive there and raise you voice. read more
