Graul's Annapolis NEVER disappoints me. I use them for every event that I host. Most recently, I used both their catering and bakery service. My guest could not believe how ripe & juicy the fruit was on the Cheese & Veggie Tray. The Chicken, Shrimp, and Seafood mini sandwiches were delicious too. Everything was good. However, the talk of the evening was the diamond shape cake that I had the bakery make. I showed Tiara my vision and she brought it to life by exceeding my expectations. The cake looked beautiful and it tasted fantastic. Her customer service was excellent. Matter of fact, everyone that assistant me provided great service. I will never have a party and not include Graul's. Oh yeah and the potato and pasta salad was on point too. Usually when I have purchased store made potato salad the potatoes are not fully cooked, but Graul's salads are differently homemade to perfection. I highly recommend Graul's if you want a successful event with delicious food and not the hassle of having to cook.

Make sure to zoom in for the full effect.

I consider myself a chicken salad connoisseur of sorts. If it's on the menu, I'm ordering it. I've had chicken salad around the world and needless to say the graul's chicken salad absolutely takes the cake. No questions. It's perfectly shredded like pulled pork style, flawless ratio of mayo (or whatever the other ingredients are) to chicken, and the best part? No bad pieces. You know what you are munching on your chicken salad and you get a tendon or a hard pierce? Nope. Not here. In conclusion, you haven't lived until you've had this heavenly delight. I have eaten it just straight out of the container, but one of my favorite scenarios was on toasted homemade sourdough with a slight bit of mayo topped with S&P. I salivate at the thought.

Graul's is great! It's about a 10 minute walk from the Navy-Marine stadium. It was my first time here--but I am sure happy I found this place because my family goes to Annapolis often. We got some potato salad, chicken salad, crackers, garbanzo bean salad from the deli. We also got the seafood chowder from the self-serve soup station, and some saltine crackers. The food--for the most part was good...except the potato salad and chicken salad were pretty bland, so I'd recommend getting some salt and pepper for it. It seems like a small, local owned business--which we love. The place is clean, offers a wide variety of products, and the staff is friendly! I would definitely come back! TIPS: -- They were open on 4th of July (7am-5pm) -- Wednesdays they habe discounts for peiple 55+ years of age (15% off)

Best food market in Annapolis. Best quality meats. Very good prepared foods. Small enough so it's easy to shop there and quick. Nice people.

We stopped going to Giant, which is only 5 minutes away from us, because of the terrible customer service we've been getting.

I started my quest with Cheers & Spirits since they are so close to where I live and run coupons on the back of my Safeway receipts. I was able to find both beer and wine that peaked my interest so that was good. (I did not check out the liquor selection.) Where this store left me disappointed was with the customer service, or lack thereof. I guess I am old fashioned because I still have false hopes that store staff will say hello and offer assistance. Despite being the only person in the store, there was little service to be had. One employee had their head down distracted by their paperwork. Eventually, another staff member did come offer assistance when he saw I had my arms full (literally). I tried to engage him in conversation about various craft beers but he either didn't know the product or didn't seem too enthusiastic to talk shop. I'll give Cheers & Spirits another try because all businesses have their off days, but I'll also keep looking for my new go-to spot.

I always get the seeded roll and I always add red hots. BOTH are awesome... that seeded roll is the bomb and they add a healthy spread of spicy red hots which I love. All the portions of everything was perfect. * NOTE - They have a sign saying they are open until 2:30AM on weekends, but I came by at 2:AM and was told "PASTA ONLY, we're shutting down the sub line..." We don't come here for pasta. We come for sandwiches. If you can't serve one at 2:30AM, close earlier. What's the point? Who leaves a bar at 2:AM and thinks about a reheated slab of pasta? I can get that at home. Make me a cheeesesteak!! For my Italian and my Capo special, I asked for hot peppers and got an appropriate healthy portion. It had just enough onions on it for flavor but not so I tasted bites of onion. The fresh high quality cold cut meat flavors came through great. Both sandwiches were superb. I personally liked the Italian better, but if you're a true lover of Italian meats you have to get the Capo Special. The Cheesesteak is also legit. I had it once with Prov and once with American. Even though the provolone has a nice cheese pull, I do prefer American on a cheesesteak. I like my steaks with just cheese, onions and red hots. If you like it that way you have to order the standard steak and say "no peppers, add red-hots." By default they put peppers on it. There are several sandwiches I still want to try, in addition to some pasta dishes they have. However, I think my next sammy will be the Roast Pork or the Meatball sub. * The only downside is the price. A large sandwich on a seeded roll will cost you $18ish, plus tip, which is $21 for a sandwich. That is a lot. However, the small (half?) sandwich is $14.50 so you might as well get the large and take half home even if you are not finishing it. It'd be cool if they had a sandwich of the day on special, so you could get a large for $15 or something. But they do not. That said, maybe you get what you pay for with price because the sandwich is QUALITY and it is CONSISTENT. I have eaten there when the owner is present or late night when it's just younger staff working. Sandwiches have been the same both times. There is good training and appreciation for quality. I hope that stays. If the quality stays I'll keep coming back. They need to add some accessible napkins, water and bottles of hot sauce. A few misses that would make my visit more comfortable. They can also offer "For Here" or "To Go" options. They make everything to go which means they at least waste a bag each time I eat in house. If they're closed or crowded, don't overlook the OGs- The Big Cheese for another great Italian in town or Pip's for a cheesesteak. Not to take anything away from CAPO though! They have both sammies and you won't be disappointed. Just saw that they are now open until 2:30AM on Friday and Saturday! That is awesome. We now have TWO late night food stops in town; Capo and Secret Spot Pizza.
