I see the revolving door of staff members that come and go, however, there are a few that have been here for quite some time and they are what I call "drug gems." Make sure your insurance is contacted by your doctor or you BEFORE going to CVS--CVS is not your third-party insurance coverage check. Make sure YOU can read what your doctor wrote down before getting to CVS--CVS is not your scribe. Make sure you have an email or text message confirming the correct date, time, and service that you are scheduled for and even call ahead to verify the time and location before leaving your house. You have NO reason to complain about a wait time, hunny. The woman working the pharmacy checked us in, and she was also responsible for the drive-thru and all regular pharmacy traffic. Honestly, it was too much for one person to reasonably handle in a respectable amount of time. I felt bad for her. She was patient and calm despite everything, but you could tell it was taking its toll. Walgreens needs to do better about staffing. Beyond that, it wasn't a bad experience all things considered. We got all of our shots within a couple of minutes ultimately. But, as we had appointments of 3:30, 3:45, and 4:00, yet we didn't get out of there until close to 4:30, that was a bit of a chore. I'm not sure I would make this my primary pharmacy in the future. If they don't care to staff any better than my current one, then why should I switch?
