The peshwari naan, coconut samosas and chicken korma are out of this world! My standard order whenever I go! I love this place!!!

I placed a order at 717 pm, get my food at 855pm no forks or utensils . This was the worst first time experience i've ever had, which is a shame because i love indian food. They had the nerve to say i have to specifically order the utensils so i guess if i want to eat like a human being i have to request forks, spoons and napkins, but if not hey why not just eat this chicken masala and rice with my hands. Great job! worst restaurant ever. read more

Had a terrific meal tonight. Their special combi offer included an appetizer and a main course, nan and a selection of sauces and chutneys all for $15.95. An excellent deal. The service was absolutely perfect. Generous portions allowed for a nicely packaged doggy bag. I will most definitely be back. Thank you Curry Heights. Pamela read more

Don't order on weekends. They can't handle getting slammed and deliveries are missing orders and takes anther hour or two to complete. Very poor execution. read more

I ordered food on seamless and it came longer than one and a half hours. I called the restaurant and they made empty promises. BAD

I love the food at this place. This is the only Indian restaurants in the area which can sometimes backfire on you. I am so glad that Curry Heights has not gone down in their quality or service. The prices are reasonable as well which is definitely a bonus!! The people that work there are very nice and accommodating. They are always willing to answer a questions of "what is that?" or "Is that going to be too spicy for me?" I love the seafood korma here- it is so fresh and creamy. It is a big enough portion to last two days for me. (And I am greedy) I have also have had food from the buffet which is good as well. I was leery just because it is out there under the lamps and Indian food can be your worse enemy if not kept in optimal conditions... I have never had a bad experience nor have any of my friends that eat here. I also love their nan! It is yummy and freshly made for you. The mango lassi is good too! I'm so happy that they are still in the neighborhood!! Cannot wait to eat lunch here soon! read more

It's annoying people are bringing their seamless grievances here-- this is by far the best and most authentic Indian food in the area. It is reasonably priced and the entree+appetizer special (with naan) for $15 is a Great deal. The chicken korma and the dal makhani is absolutely delicious. read more

Never had a long wait, so prior statements are a bit dated. Very good specials on the back of the menu! Good price for portions.

The food here is excellent. I would definitely eat here again, only I would make sure to order it as take-out next time. The service here was atrocious. I felt unnecessarily neglected for the entire meal... until they dropped the check; that was prompt enough. TLDR: great indian food; get it to go. read more

I'm in the area regularly and I like going here when I don't feel like cooking or venturing out. It's usually this or In the Heights. Their dinner special is great, although it doesn't exactly save you much. I'm not an expert on Indian food but I have tried many different places in the city and this was definitely one of the better ones. read more

Get exactly what you pay for. Order delivery via Seamless. Took longer than expected (about an hour), and it was not very spicy at all (ordered medium spice). But it was good and hot. Pretty much what I expected. Nothing to write home about, but I would order from here again. read more

We went on Sunday around 4pm just to have a quick bite as they handed out the flyers at the book festival. The waiter was OBNOXIOUS he was extremely unpleasant. He literally had a NASTY attitude and left the menus on the table deliberately, because we didn't order any entrees. We ordered a few appetizers. Upon entering the restaurant he went to the guests who arrived after us and handed them their menus first, we had to wait for him to finally come over. He had a misreable look on his face he never greeted us at all but huffed and puffed when we didn't order any entrees. The restaurant was not crowded and everyone ordered just appetizers as well, but he never gave them any flack. He did not bring the beverages we ordered either, as he was too busy being extremely RUDE. The only reason we didn't leave is there aren't any vegan places in proximity. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. If you like a waiter with a nasty disposition, this is the place to go. Apart from that everyone else was pleasant. I stiil tipped the loser, (as I am the better person) and he didn't wait until we left to take the credit card receipt. I hope you guys fire him, you will lose customers, you just lost four. read more

I am friends with the boss. and I know that there was a person on the crew who was extremely rude and insincere but was fired So who ever rated this under 3 stars. I strongly reccomend you visit Curry Heights again and rate again based on your expierence. read more

Mystery to us how the 2015 reviews could be negative. We used to love this place, then it went a bit down hill last year. Decor isn't as nice as it was, which is the only reason we take a star away. We've had excellent Mahli Kofta, Lamb Saag, Tikka Masala, and Chicken Biryani. And their take-out portions are huge. And, now they ae open some nights until 2am. read more

I like the Dal Malkani a lot and the Broccoli appetizer with onions. I'm not a vegetarian, but when I order from here, I like to get both of these dishes. Love the tomato and pesto sauces that come with the meals. read more

It was my first time having Indian food and I was a little skeptical and clueless. But the food was AMAZING. The flavors and the aroma of the food was authentic. Service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back here. read more

The food is good. Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. I ordered through Chase pay. They didn't have my food and also said they didn't have a relationship with Chase. Clearly the worker was misinformed. He was also very rude. read more

The food was very delicious. The chicken in our tikka masala and saag was tender and not overcooked. The portions were good size. The waiter was very busy but made us feel he cared and that he was trying hard to assure we had a good experience. Although the physical space needs a complete renovation, the number of take outs we saw being carried out for delivery suggest that people come for the food. read more

I almost DON'T want to review this restaurant, because it's Brooklyn's best kept Indian Food secret, and we like it that way. Have you ever tried cocunut somosa? It is nearly impossible to find in NYC. The sweet cocunut filled pastry is perfectly balanced with that brown dipping sauce, and we were delighted to discover that Curry Spot carried it. No more trips all the way into Manhattan for our favorite appetizer. Shag Panir, delicious, creamy, filled with generous amounts of goat cheese. Their breads are out of this world. This is the third time we've been there (twice for take out). The service is quick & friendly, the room is spacious (especially since noone seems to dine there weeknights at dinner time). Perfect place to warm up in the winter, with spicy tea, soothing Mango Lassie. I'll write again once I order more dishes and report back. In the meantime, I'm so happy I don't have to cross a bridge or tunnel, (or pay tons of $) for a satisfying Indian meal. read more

I have been to this place many times because the food is good and it's inexpensive. It's actually so much food that I take a friend and we share an entree, then get a mix of apps, bread, and so on. Usually there are 2-3 waiters and the younger ones are courteous and helpful. The older man on staff is not just rude, he is nasty and angry! He was the only waiter last time we went and 1) he told me to order something more expensive, 2) he refused to do anything about the smell at the entrance way, and 3) he mumbled curses to himself as he walked away from us. We walked out and will probably not go back. It's unfortunate because, once again - good food. But you can't eat in an atmosphere like that. This is New York... I can walk down the street to be treated like that, but I won't pay for it :( read more

Not just delivery. They are rude. They run out of food on the buffet after you wait on a line, then wait again. If you express your concern, they're even more rude, I've seen them handing out menus on the street. If they want more customers, how about trying not to insult the ones they have. read more

Best Indian lunch in downtown Brooklyn. Not the best in the City but best in Brooklyn. Excellent Indian food is nonexistent in Brooklyn.

If you are looking for a large amount of Indian food for low price, Curry Heights is the place to try in Brooklyn Heights. The food there is good and the place has delivery. I tried the Lamb Tikka Masala while my friend got the Lamb Curry. The portions were large and the food filling but I was left a bit disappointed by the quality of the meat. The curry, however, was impressive and better than a lot of other Indian restaurants that I have tried. read more

I'd been craving Indian for some weeks now, and I finally had the chance to order some. A friend and I have ordered from here via GrubHub a couple of times and our food was delivered a full half hour before the estimated delivery time both times, which earns a star in and of itself in my opinion. Despite the difficulty I had understanding the delivery guy when he arrived, I think this is a good choice for Indian food if you are ordering in. We both ordered the chicken tikka masala which was delicious and enough for us each to get 2 meals out of it. I have not had a whole lot of Indian food before, but my friend grew up eating it and she said it was very good. We also ordered some naan, which was fresh baked and yummy. Although I think $2.25 for one piece of naan is a little ridiculous, this seems to be the trend at all the Indian places in the area, so I'll deal. I would definitely order from here again. read more

Love their goat saag. Very fast and convenient for take out.

I love their curry--the medium spice is my fave. Staff is super friendly, when i get delivery or take out. 5 stars!

This restaurant has one of the most authentic Indian food I have tried. 5 stars for the best Indian food in Brooklyn!

We ordered takeout, then a week later we tried their buffet; everything was excellent. I'm a vegetarian, and there was plenty for me to eat. My wife loved the chicken tandoori, which the owner brought it out to her, along with some naan, straight from the oven. That this place is just a few blocks from our house makes our choice to move here all the better! read more

visited few times already , food is good , service was alright , place is very small , room to improve though

Said 35-45 minutes, was an hour and 10. Everything was cold. Chicken tikka masala sauce was consistency of water and not good. Kappori chat was good. Naan was good but cold. Find another place. read more

Great takeout and lunch specials, very reasonably priced. No frills atmosphere but genuinely caring staff and good food more than make up for less-fancy decor. A fine neighborhood place. read more

First, the staff was really rude to me the entire meal, I almost got up and left. The music was way too loud and the base was distracting the entire time. Not a very good environment. The food was not that great either and overall didn't love the experience. read more

Didnt even eat the food, Service was so bad we had to walk out. The waiter was rude, obnoxious and cocky. There was one other client in the restaurant that was also upset at the service. The waiter is the laziest person I ever seen in a restaurant. The waiter spilled water on my legs while serving. One of the clients asked the waiter why are you so lazy. His response "if the customer is good Im good" what does that even mean? This place is a joke, I dont know how they are still in business. The owner really needs to know what goes on in there. We sat for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. I never been this upset in my life in a restaurant. read more

Very good value for the money. Definitely fills the Indian crave. Service was good. Food selections and portions were adequate. Quality of naan was poor. Otherwise quite impressive and got a 20% discount for a Yelp check-in. read more

This place is crawling with mice. Our waiter comforted us by saying that "they come every night."

Everything was delicious. Vegetables, chicken, chickpeas and spinach, cheese, breads. Did not try dessert. I did not take notes on the dishes we ordered. I had no intention of writing a review - until after we ate and we all enjoyed our meals so much! - My only regret - I ordered 2 appetizers instead of an entree. And my food arrived long before the entries. Next time - I would ask them to serve 1 of the appetizers with the meal. We certainly plan to meet here again ! read more

I've eaten here twice. The chicken is always as dry as jerky and the rice is over cooked till soggy. The portions are not great comparatively speaking and spicey means a dash of hot sauce. Really disappointed. read more

Looking forward to eating this oily looking chicken tikka masala with my hands since apparently $18 doesn't buy you a fork and napkins "unless you request them" read more

Been ordering from here for years. Delivery is always fast, food is great, prices are low for the area.

Amazing Indian food! They have the best chicken tikka masala. They also have a really good naan that's stuffed with coconut and raisins. I would highly recommend this place. The prices are pretty good, and they have a great special where you get an appetizer, entree, and naan for $12 or $13. read more
