Highly Upset that it has taken over an hour for the delivery of my order. I've been patronizing this establishment since it was Khushboo so I hope the food tonight is on point. I tried something different. I called to inquire, their answer was "sorry the delivery guy had other deliveries" Not acceptable. Why give an estimated delivery time if you can't meet it??? read more

Amazing naan bread!! The service was also great. I loved being able to make a reservation through Yelp too! The spice level can be pretty spicy so keep that in mind! Yummy!! I was craving lamb chops and this place had great reviews so i decided to try it. We started off with a complimentary basket of papad which was tasty and properly cooked. Sometimes i've gotten them either stale or undercooked at places. Then we ordered the green salad. The salad was pretty large and had lettuce, tomatoes and tons of carrots. It was fresh though i want not crazy about the dressing. It tasted like kraft italian. I asked for some chat masala and then helped the tasted a good bit. For the main course we ordered two of the lamb chop dinner. It came with rice and we ordered bread as well. We could easily have shared just one order. There was plenty of food. The lamb came with some yummy onions and peppers. I ordered mine spicy and it was so delicious!!! Service here is extremely attentive and so friendly. My boyfriend and I stopped into this place last-minute before going to a comedy show close by and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced (ordered dall sagg, goat curry, garlic naan). Food also came out quickly. Also the owner was so lovely, we chatted for a little bit and then at the end he gave us a complementary dessert which was so kind and unexpected (and it was really good). We don't live in the neighborhood but we're definitely going back if we wind up in the area. Some of the best Indian food I've had in the city. read more

Solid spot for Indian food! It's a cozy and relatively quiet space with great service. Two of us walked in on a weekday evening and had no trouble getting a table. We weren't particularly hungry so we only ordered a few plates. The dahi batata poori was a great starter - 5 or 6 pieces loaded with yogurt and chutney. The chicken tikka masala (comes with rice) was delicious and the garlic naan was buttery and warm. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive, and ran after me when I left something behind. I think prices here are reasonable for NYC and will definitely be back with a bigger appetite. read more

At the behest of our neighbors, we ordered Mughlai Grill via delivery one evening. It is the best Indian spot we've tried in the LES. We thoroughly enjoyed the sofiyani biryani and the vegetarian lunch box. The latter is an excellent deal and included a delicious creamy tomato-based tikka masala, an appetizer of the bhel puri, naan, lentil daal, and raita. The sofiyani was new to us. A Hyderabadi-styled dish, it included chunks of chicken with a flavorful blend of spices. The portion was sizeable, and actually both of these dishes were more than enough for two adults. Portions were large and prices are fair for the area. Overall flavors were terrific. We would consider ordering, or better yet dining indoors, again in the future. read more

This restaurant is a joke, we ordered goat curry and paneer makhani and roti. All rotis were undercooked, the goat meat was unbeatable and chewy like rubber with big bones. Paneer Makhni has watery gravy and flavorless. Also the server was rude and didn't treated us well, didn't even cared to ask us how is our food, we paid $55 for a trashy food. Came here around 5:30pm on a friday and we were the first ones in there. After we came was when everyone started to come in. This is my first time eating Indian food at a restaurant and I really loved the food! We got the chicken tikka masala, garlic nan, paneer, and biryani and where all good. I highly recommend getting their nans to dip into the flavorful sauces from the main dishes. I found everything good except the biryani. It wasn't bad but the next time I come here I would skip it. The dry spices in there were too strong for my liking. As for the service, all the workers were really nice and came often to check up on us and refill our waters.
