So good everytime. The toasted mocha and green iced tea were delicious. Staff are also very friendly greeting us right when we walked in.

This coffee shop is so cozy and tucked within the heart of Placerville. The place is very inviting and the decor keeps your eyes occupied. They have plants in the windows, mugs and coffee beans, artwork, knicks knacks and so much more available for purchase. I also love how they offer a variety of 1883 syrups in all sorts of flavors so you can really get creative with your drink. I enjoy the seasonal Astropop right now, which is an energy drink flavored with blueberry, coconut, and strawberry real fruit. It's definitely a sweet treat and wakes you up! I also tried a gluten free sausage breakfast pocket, which was delicious with the side of hot sauce. Overall, I like popping in here while strolling down Main. This is the best coffee in town. They have a solid selection and variations of coffee and teas, as well as local products that include tea, honey, and pastries. Also, their Cornish pasties are great. Now, I don't know how British they really are, of if they are just capitalizing on the name, but they are doing a great job doing what they do. I specially love how you don't see those abominations offered at the bean barn, and their quality is also far superior to it. They are also willing to customize your drink if you engage in conversation. Finally a good, honest cuppa. read more

We stumbled upon this cute shop as we were walking down Main Street Placerville. We wanted something to quench the thirst without sugar! This was the place! I had their Lavender Green Tea iced no sweetener and a mini egg burrito. It's very small so perfect for a snack. Only bummer was there was hardly any egg, mostly potatoes and sausage. Nice mild salsa gave it the flavor it needed. I would recommend but maybe ask for extra egg? Service was quick and friendly! I would definitely come back! read more

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cute art and things to look at. I had the Steak & Potato Pasty with a seasonal drink called Butterfly Lemonade. I recommend having the savory pasty with their hot sauce. The Butterfly Lemonade was delicious and a very pretty purple color that got countless compliments and questions while walking around town with the plastic to-go cup. read more

Great tea selection they will do custom blends for you right there and they started selling some of their tea blends in tins from the shop (all gold country themed!) service is nice, and efficient, ambiance of the shop Is casual it's a big hangout for regular groups, sometimes groups of old farmers sometimes book groups. I was scared for a second there after patronizing another shop where I received frosty customer service and even worse espresso drinks, but I digress...This place is a breath of fresh air complete with a friendly staff, excellent coffee, fantastic gluten free and glutenous baked goods and lil chachkis for sale. There are books to borrow and they showcase local artists which is awesome. The espresso was smooth and delicious. They have some specialty lattes that sounded yummy as well. I took one star off because of my food. I was rather disappointed with my $5 tofu wrap. It was kinda small and it didn't have much texture to it. This is the first time I have visited the coffee shop. I really found the decorations cute and comfortable I like that I can see into everything and know that they are extremely clean.
