Ten minutes after getting our order, both breakfast sandwiches were cold. Not "could be hotter" cold -- actually cold, with part of the egg still cold like it barely touched heat. The cheese looked like it was thrown on straight from the fridge and left there as an afterthought. The hash browns tasted like freezer burn and old oil, like they were made yesterday and reheated. For the prices you charge, serving food this bad is insulting. Warming up breakfast food should not be a challenge, yet somehow this place failed at the most basic part of its job. This wasn't a minor mistake, this was lazy, careless food prep and zero quality control. If you can't serve hot breakfast, maybe stop selling breakfast. read more

First time I went through the drive through to get a Protein Latte and an egg and turkey sausage wrap. The food was hot and tastey and the coffee was really good. The challenge that had was the service was really slow and there were two vehivcles ahead of me and it took 12 minutes to wait to get to the window and another 7 minutes to receive my food which was 19 minutes. The young lady was pleasant and apologized for the time it took to get my food and she was plesant but it took time. The other challenge is the entrance and the parking lot can be a little challenging with cars at times not controlling their speed. Lots of congestion even at 6:30am in the morning. Usually this place is pretty good but today was just an off day. I went through the drive thru just to get a medium hot chocolate and loaded hash browns. The hash browns were good, but I went to take a sip of my hot chocolate and noticed it was heavily under filled. I paid full price as well, so skimping on your drinks is not okay. We decided to stop in while charging our EV on the way up to Tahoe. Sure glad we made the pit stop as it was a nice and relaxing stop. As soon as we walked in we were kindly greeted. We noticed that the three employees remained busy but was attentive to the customers. Palavi, specifically, was the one who made the visit so welcoming. She made our little one smile and despite being busy, always had a smile and offered help navigating the two stores. I'm sure by now you've noticed that it's a Dunkin Donut store combined with a Baskin Robins 31 (BR). We definitely took advantage of that and got breakfast sandwiches and coffee at Dunkin and a shake from BR. All the items were served at the proper temperature and tasted great. I was just impressed at the cleanliness and the great atmosphere. Wish all the Dunkin Donut stores were like this one. Keep up the great work. Always make my coffee and order right, pretty quick...friendly staff at the drive thru. Also, thr couple of hiccups that may or may not have happened were always fixed in store. I'm only writing this review because of the offensively disgusting egg bites. Egg powder, milk powder, donut shaped weapons. Your egg bites are BAD, corporate. Not rotten, not served by someone grumpy; they are gross and legit board members need to make sure to try the "product" before making us waste $6 on a chalky, grainy (how? The first Dunkin' store in EDC!!! Been looking forward to this for a long time. They have a great pastry display counter so you can check out what goodies are available and hi-tech TV menu monitors. Not a ton of seating inside, but most people order to go so it's no big deal! This store is also combined with a Baskin Robbin's so it's family friendly - coffee for parents and ice cream for the kiddos! Great location right off the freeway too, so perfect for drive thru orders or mobile orders for those on a time crunch. Best coffee for any franchise hands down! For a new store just opened it SUCKED! Drive-thru SUCKED waited behind 3 cars for 25 minutes just to order. People were getting out of the cars to order inside. Let's try the Apple Cider donut and a small sugar free vanilla ice latte with a extra shot of Expresso in whip. $10 I finally get to the window and chicken says hi and welcome so I say Hi back. This place is new to Placerville and we were excited to finally have a good donut and ice-cream option but if they hope to stay they are going to need to make a few changes. Especially the speed of service. It's nice to have a drive through option but took at least 15 minutes to get through the drive through and there was only two cars in front of me. The girl that helped me was very friendly and apologetic to each car about the wait but if you are hoping for a quick drive through meal you will need to go somewhere else. I have not been to a Dunkin' Donuts in a really long time, so I was surprised by the variety in the menu options. They actually offered an avocado toast, which I consider trying, but I was a little afraid since it's a fast food drive-through. if anyone's tried the avocado toast there, Please let me know if it's worth it.? My mother and I went to the Placerville location for our very first time trying dunkin and it will be our last. The drinks were fine, the food was okay. But before leaving I saw they had Ice cream pies, seeing as it is joined by a BR. Tonight is my daughters birthday dinner and they had a mint ice cream pie which is perfect for her. I go up to the counter to pay and the employees are just walking past me for 5 mins and then the manager Josh finally go to help me and then he tells me the cake has the wrong price tag on it. That instead of $24 it is $29 which is not a big deal but in the state of California the bussiness has to legally honor the price listed. I told him this and he tell's me "well I was going to give it to you for that price" then walks away and starts making drinks. I had to ask him if he wasnt ringing me up because he didnt like what I said and he said no then still didn't help me until I said something for a third time. We were stuck in the drive thru for over 30 minutes to the point where we had to get out of the car in the drive thru and ask the manger to please move the 2 cars in front of us so we could get out. Finally after 10 minutes she came out and me and 5 other cars left the drive thru due to them not knowing how to manage time. If someone has a large order and it's going to take you a minute to get them all their stuff you ask them to move forward and have an employee bring it out when ready. You don't hold the line up for OVER 30 minutes. Just ridiculous!!!! I understand they just opened and we really wanted to love this place but this experience will most likely keep us from ever returning. No apology or solution from the manager either. read more
