I even confirmed the price during the phone call because I wanted to make sure I understood correctly. The order was very simple , plain doughnuts, half maple and half chocolate. When I came in on Wednesday to pick them up, I added 4 additional doughnuts at the counter for my family. The total came out to $62, which was more than double what I had been quoted. I asked if the amount was correct and explained that I had been told $30 for the original order. The employee recalculated it and still said it was correct, then asked if I still wanted them. Unfortunately, this put me in a very uncomfortable position because there were people behind me, my children were with me, and the doughnuts were for my daughter's school class. I felt embarrassed and pressured into paying an amount I was not prepared for based on the quote I had received. Mistakes happen, but the situation was handled with very little concern or effort to make it right. The experience left a bad impression, and I won't be returning.

Then, I find out that Rocklin Donuts and Cinnamon have made it onto some of the best donut lists in the whole country! The donut holes were incredible. Absolutely melt in your mouth. Perfection. The chocolate croissant was not flaky or crispy, but had that classic donut shop chewy texture, and of course, was loaded with chocolate.
