I'll start off by saying the customer service was good from the two girls that took the order, very friendly and polite. I've tried this place twice, the first time I got a blended iced latte and it was extremely icy and milky hardly any coffee and very sweet. I decided to give it a second shot and got a white chocolate mocha and again was probably 95% milk and a tiny bit of coffee I ended up having to add instant espresso to it to give it some coffee flavor. I'm only leaving this review just to give them some feedback on their coffee drinks. I have not tried their smoothies. read more

I have had good experiences here and now one not so good experience. I've gotten the iced black & white mocha, the regular iced white mocha and their chai teas. They are delicious. I went there again and chose the Toffee Coffee to get something different. I was driving home and my drink tasted like flavored water. I went back the next day as I definitely did not drink that coffee, as I thought she left the espresso out. Actually she did not leave it out. It does NOT come with espresso in it. It is made with water and a coffee powder. So if you are looking for an actual espresso drink, I would suggest NOT getting the Toffee Coffee. Since I did not come back that same day, as I was already driving home, they said that they could not remake a regular mocha for me since they said I could have drank it on my way home. Unfortunately, I hope going forward, that if someone buys a Toffee Coffee drink, they could at least be informed (on the menu board or in person) that this is not an espresso made coffee. Bean barn has the BEST coffee drinks of anywhere in the entire county. I would even go so far as to say it's the best in the entire state. They have a great menu with flavor options for just about any and every craving and preference imaginable. They also rotate seasonal flavors, so be sure stop by and check those out! The staff is also always incredibly friendly. Possibly one of my most favorite things about them too is that they keep a gift card on hand for first responders and law enforcement. Anyone can ask at anytime to add money to it, which I often do. A drive thu coffee place with an amazing menu and they give back - what more can you ask for? read more

Most of the times the car line isn't more than 3 cars which makes it convenient to purchase a pick-me-up right before my shift. When I first arrived I had a million questions about their menu and the girls answered every single one with a smile, and friendly attitude. Making the entire process smooth and relaxed. 5 of us in our family & we Love the Bean Barn! Megan is our top favorite gal!!! Always very polite, friendly & makes the drinks the best out of all the girls... but we like all the girls :-) we come for Screamers in the mornings & our other drinks in the late afternoon. I was there when Megan had to close at 6:00 ... @ Jill - you must've been the car behind me that was screaming at her as she was waving & telling us she was closed. I think I was the car in front of you, but I was not confused. You can't assume things. If you know that you may be getting there close to the time they are to be closed, you can certainly call your order in ahead before you get there and then they can have the drinks ready for you! :-) they are great about taking care of their customers! Some people get irate over the littlest things, as in, if you come at closing time everything might already be cleaned up and closed, don't get mad at the person who is doing their job correctly and she wasn't hanging out the window. We have a business in town so I understand the policy of cleaning up and closing on time. So don't take it out on the girl who is doing the right thing. As for us, we will always continue to come here because they are always great, and have superb customer service skills :-) Mikey, you rock! This place is wonderful because coffee comes hot and they open at 5am mon-fri, I really appreciate that. The 3 star rating comes from the actual coffee. It's middle of the road kind of coffee. I always get a vanilla latte no matter what coffee shop I'm visiting. This place uses the same flavoring syrup as Starbucks, but they don't make their drinks as sweet which I really like. The coffee they use is bland but gets the job done. I recommend this place, but don't expect to have knock your socks off good coffee. read more

This is my favorite place to go for coffee. I have the chai coffee frappuccino style or hot and its amazing. The bean barn is my go to coffee shop every morning. The main reason I go here is because it is so close to where I work. I like that they have so many options of hot and cold drinks. They also have oatmeal, bagels and an assortment of muffins and scones to get with your coffee. I know every coffee brand tastes different and all use a different brand to brew their coffee and espresso. Personally I like the taste of Starbucks espresso and coffee more than the bean barn. I don't know what it is, my taste buds? However, this does not stop me from coming here, coffee is coffee, whatever wakes me up in the morning! Everyone in my past experience has been very friendly and kind. They always prepare the drinks quickly and with a smile. One unique thing about this place is that they have a protein shake! The "screamer" they call it. (Soy protein, bananas, milk, ice etc.) They even said that if you did not want them to use the soy protein that you can bring your own! New went in for a hot chocolate today on my birthday and it was too hot to drink at first which is okay, but I wasnt able to taste it till I was pretty far away. This place makes killer coffee and for less than Starbucks! They make it quite impossible for me to ever go for coffee on the other side of the freeway again. One thing to be aware of is there is usually only one barista on shift so you have to be patient or go on off times. My favorite drink is the Screamer (breakfast smoothie with protein powder, banana and peanut butter) I get one of those at least once a week! I recently just started going to the Bean Barn since the Born to be Wired coffee shop closed down. This is the only coffee shop left by my work so I settled for the not as yummy coffee at the Bean Barn. This was a mistake. I was overcharged on my debit card and well the problems continued. While trying to fix this issue the owner, Angela, was the most inconsiderate business owner I have ever encountered. I was cursed at, hung up on and told she would not fix the issue. Long story short, I have never been treated so rudely by staff of a small business. The only good thing I have to say is that it's better than Starbucks, but then again what's that really setting the bar at? read more
