Wow! I randomly came across this place on Instagram and decided to make a trip. Everything was delicious. The absolute best cold brew I have ever had!

I've been wanting to come here ever since I saw this place on Instagram. This quaint cafe in the little town of Coloma, California. The food was delicious (I had tuna melt panini) and coffee was even better (I had brown sugar cold brew). Service was pretty fast considering we were a group 5. Staff was pleasant. The place was super cute with dining area in the back and outdoor seating on the porch.

Love it when they are OPEN!!

Returned to this fabulous place and saw that their CA poppies are in full bloom outside which makes for awesome photo opportunities before having an amazing latte right along the S Fork of the American River. Spring is THE TIME to visit and consider indulging in one of their amazing pastries too! Enjoy your time in Coloma!!

Really cute cafe right in the heart of the state park in Coloma. We were there on a Saturday morning and while the park didn't feel that crowded, the cafe was definitely busy. There is lots of seating between the inside, the porches, and the picnic tables in the back by the river, and most of it was shaded, which was great for the hot day. We got our coffees pretty quickly, then they gave us a pager for the food. The food took a while, it doesn't seem like they have a big kitchen so come here with some patience. Our food was good - generous portions on the bagels and the panini. We all took half home to enjoy later. Look forward to coming back again for more coffee and views!

Such a peaceful location for a coffee shop right along the river! It was almost an hour drive for us but it was a nice way to start the day. The coffee shop itself is very small but plenty of outdoor seating! I really enjoyed the Cinder and Smoke latte that my husband got! Perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and coffee. I tried out the Obsidian Mocha which the chili honey was just a bit too much for me but I liked the concept! Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Did I drive an hour and half to a cafe I saw on TikTok and then researched on yelp? I sure did! Located in small town coloma ca argonaut is a small quint cafe right next to a river. Don't ask me what river cause I don't know lol! Giving off a rustic old town vibe this place was clean and cute. We walked in but weren't greeted by the staff which was okay because they were pretty busy as it seems like this is a local favorite! I knocked off one star because as we went up to the cashier I felt the cashier wasn't as helpful or nice. We asked some questions and were just given short response like "everything is good". Yes everything is good but it would have been helpful if maybe some suggestions were pointed out like popular items or local favorite drinks. My friend and I agreed that maybe she was just having a hard day due to being pregnant. Let's talk about the food! For drinks we ordered the obsidian mocha and we thought that this drink had too much of a spice taste but the brow sugar latte was delicious. Let's start with the crème brûlée donut! Oh my gosh this was the most unique tasty dessert ever! The donut had a crunch outside and a soft inside! I believe this was a special item so it's not always served! The New York cake slice was sweet with powder sugar and soft spongy cake and was just as delicious as the donut. These two paired so well with our coffees! The curried chicken croissant was a perfect blend of curry chicken and cranberries! It had the perfect crunch! The breakfast panini rise and swine was crunchy and warm! It comes with pork belly but I substitute it to chicken. Because I substituted the meat I was not expecting much meat but it was stuffed with chicken and that was the best part! There is an outside area with seating as well and a bench by the river to just hang out and enjoy the sunshine and nature. I will point out the parking across from the cafe is $10 but that $10 gives you admission into the gold rush museum! So after your delicious meal walk off the calories by going into the museum!

Service was great. Cute, quaint location hidden in Coloma. Different historical landmarks around, make it very nostalgic. The food however was just ok. The best thing was the hot cocoa. The avocado toast was very bland, zero flavor, just mounds of avocado spread on top, the second one could have worked w less avocado and no egg. The creme brulee donut was ok. Nothing spectacular.

Super cute and there's outdoor seating that leads to the river. Service was friendly and gave good recommendations.

Best coffee shop we've ever been to! We have never tasted a better white mocha! Amazing service, delicious coffee and food, a cute little shack, and a prime location near the water. We look forward to going every weekend -- and the sweet girls working there are the cherry on top!

Went for a quick bite and got a brown sugar iced latte with oatmilk - it was delicious!! One of the best coffee's I've had in a while. Such a cute spot and the weather was perfect! Would recommend grabbing a drink and exploring the town

Perfect place to take some photos.

Very friendly staff, wanted to pet my Rott who got a pup cup, he loved. Coffee was delicious, donut wasn't my thing so I would definitely try something different next time. All the paninis looked and sounded delicious. Sat for a few hours outside, great place to journal and read. Will definitely be back again. Inside was a bit small but they are so quick.

Cutest Cafe in this area!! All we stopped in for was drinks and a bagel with cream cheese, but it turned out to be the perfect backdrop for pictures of us while we explored Coloma during our anniversary vacation. Would definitely return if we are in the area! 5 stars worthy

The Coloma Club is a diner with a ton of character in a remarkably rural spot between Auburn and Placerville in the foothills just outside of Sacramento. You'll sit between Coloma locals, motorcycle tourists, river guides and river runners in a building which has seen a lot over the years. (Just check the picture section). The food was diner food. Not pretentious or over-wrought, but capably prepared and it hit the spot on that cold Fall morning before we ran the American River. If you're looking for crepes, a fresh fruit and yoghurt bowl or gravy made from scratch this might not be your destination. They serve organic coffee and I could really taste the difference. They currently have a seasonal menu and their regular menu included some unique options. The maple latte caught my eye; I ordered it with oat milk and it was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Seriously! It wasn't overpoweringly sweet, but there was enough flavor so it actually tasted like a maple latte instead of a warm milk as many special drinks end up tasting from my experience. It's always disappointing to buy an expensive coffee that doesn't have enough flavor, but you'll get what you pay for here. They offer a few little snacks and there is tons of seating (indoor and outdoor!) with beautiful natural light, art and plants. The baristas were kind and helpful and made beautiful latte art. If you love it as much as I did, you can even buy coffee beans and merchandise as well. It's tucked away in downtown placerville and I would highly recommend Pachamama to everyone!

This particular one is in Placerville, right on touristy Main Street. Well It's actually tucked in a shopping pedestrian alley right off Main Street. The coffee is delicious. I've had their various drip coffees before, all terrific tasting. My usual go to's are their lattes. This time I was in the mood for a seasonal winter drink, wintermint mocha. Yum! I ordered it with oat milk and they don't up charge. The mocha had a smooth, creamy chocolate espresso taste. I even got a pretty design of foamed milk on top of my drink. Aww it was cute. No up charge for that as well and I didn't even ask them to do it Outside the cafe is an outdoor courtyard with bistro tables for folks to sit n enjoy their coffee or whatever. I say whatever because the area is open for all to sit a spell. The courtyard is enclosed with brick buildings around its square perimeter. The buildings provide ample shade and cooling temps in the summer. Plus there is a water fountain that provides a calming zen like sound of trickling water. The cafe also has an indoor seating area. The interior furniture includes tables, sofas, lounge chairs, and high top tables aesthetically giving off modern, minimalist Scandinavian design vibes. Luvin this look.

After a long day hanging out in Apple Hill I wanted some coffee for my trip back home to Vallejo and I didn't want coffee from a franchised spot (I prefer to support local cafes whenever possible, I really enjoy spots with more of a personal community vibe) so I was lucky to come across Camino Coffee Mill. The Camino Coffee Mill is modern in style but it's not pretentious and feels like you're getting coffee while on vacation (you'll get what I'm mean once you go and see for yourself.) The barista was very friendly and patient (it always takes me a bit longer when visiting a place the first time.) While waiting for my order I saw how they made their mocha and I'd wished one (it's usually one of my go toes but I went with something different) she must have noticed the look on my face because she offered to convert my latte into a mocha just so I could have the drink I really wanted (such a kind gesture!) She also shared with me some backstory on history of the cafe and how the cafe is owned by a local couple (who bought it right before getting married) and who also owns the pizza spot right next door (which I'll be trying on my next visit!) I'm so glad I took a chance on this spot and can't wait to try another drink from their menu (maybe a chai!) If you're in the Apple Hill area and want some great coffee to start and or end your day this is the place so bring a good book and or friend to catch up with! J
