Definitely not a good customer service representative yet some how the face of that location. I had a late payment on my unit. 1 day late might I add. And actually still within the grace period so if you want, technically not late. The fee was $102 and some change. He explained that the billing is every 30 days and that after the 6th day you get a late fee. Today is the last day of my grace period so my late fee shouldn't be until tomorrow. After asking for his manager he stated that there is nothing that could be done. That his manager would just agree. I don't mind if I have to pay a late fee from time to time but from a ten dollar late fee to a hundred is a bit excessive. And on top of that, this place is always broken. If it's not the front gate it's the back. Restroom I'm sure has asbestos. CubeSmart get help. Mind everyone this place has had class action lawsuits on them in the past. 8/20/24 **Update** As of this morning the district manager Ruben reached out and we were able to come to a resolution. To clarify a few things: I had my own dollies and equipment, and both Alex and I were moving significantly more items ourselves than your movers were. In fact, I noticed multiple times when I went down to the truck that both movers were just standing inside, not actively working. Several items they did handle--like my paintings that were still sealed in plastic--were wrapped unnecessarily three or four times, wasting time rather than helping the move go more efficiently. Yes, the elevator used was the freight elevator, but even if it hadn't been, both available elevators were equally close to the unit, so the point feels moot. Most importantly, the way you've chosen to handle this as a business owner is honestly shocking. Arguing with customers, deflecting accountability, and lacking basic humility or professionalism--especially when we were among your first clients and you had no reviews at the time--is both disappointing and embarrassing to witness.

However with a few messages we did lock in the day and time with a couple days to spare. I would just say that when we are here putting multiple offers on Yelp, you do end up getting blasted by some companies immediately, too much so, but it does make them "seem eager" to lock in the job.
