Never an issue here, long time customer. Each of the negative reviews have one thing in common. Expectations of entitlement. It's a business, pay your money, get your service, have a nice day. If your battery is dead on your uhaul, it's probably because some yahoo left the lights on when they dropped it off last night. If these people are ever rude to you it's probably because you deserve it. And if you move out mid month and don't tell them you still need the spot, they will clean it and prepare it for rent- it's what they do. read more

Parked our travel trailer there. Within three weeks, someone stole our propane tanks. Told the attendant and they said that, yeah, it happens a lot especially in your area. Advised we should file a police report and that he would look at the cameras. Absolute bullshit. read more

I would not give this place even 1 star. I have rented trailers from them several times over the years. Well, never again. I went in Saturday to rent one. After listening to the lady working being rude to someone on the phone, she came over to help me. She asks if I would have it back at 1 that day or 8 am Monday. I told her I would have it back by Monday 8 am. She then said at 8 am, and advised I could not drop off between now and then as in years past. When I asked when that changed she rudely said When I'm the only employee. She then kept rudely asking me if I wanted it and if so which time. I was deciding whether I could be back at that location promptly at 8 am. Well I decide to just cancel getting the trailer and she says good take your business elsewhere. I told her she did not need to take her bad call out on her customers all day. That earned me a double bird from her! Never in my life has an employee of a business flipped me off. read more

What a great place to go for all your needs--RIGHT HERE!!! We came here to rent a camper for Labor Day weekend and upon returning it, we grabbed some fresh chili rellenos to end our wonderful weekend and kiss our awesome camper goodbye. It was served piping hot, the plate was packed with rice and beans, two HUGE chili's and salad. It was outstanding!!! In this establishment you will find, a grocery store, restaurant, liquor store, self storage as well as hauling and camper rentals, just to name a few options. Talk about one stop shopping, huh? It's all here. Merlin Friesenhaun is the man that accommodated us, he was professional, friendly and very efficient. Also reasonable in his prices. You simply cannot go wrong. Deserves negative stars. Booked a rental at this location. Arrived to pick up the truck. When i went to start it, the truck battery was COMPLETELY DEAD. I walked back into the office to tell the two ladies. One was cute, friendly and shorter. The other was tall, full on stank face and the rudest person I've ever met. She sat behind the counter just barking orders at the other one when I first got there. When I came back in she couldn't care less that her truck was dead. The nice girl went outside with me and checked the truck. When it still wouldn't star she said they would give me the next larger truck at the same rate and a $10 discount for the trouble and mileage rate difference. Wewalked back inside to get the other keys. The ride last said she would take $10 off the rental. The other girl told her what she offered me already and she seemed irritated. I used the trick for half the time I reserved and returned it. When i walked in to turn in the keys the rude as what I wanted like she had never seen me before. I told her I was returning the truck. She said just leave the key. I asked her to process my final so I could make sure all the adjustments were right and she outright refused. She said they'll do it later. If I wanted it done right now I had to return the truck thru the website ( which is only the policy if the truck is returned after hours). So i at in my car to do it online but the we site won't send me the code needed to set up an account to return it. After being on the phone with two different reps that couldn't get the code I finally got it myself. I went thru the process and took all the pictures needed which required me going back and get the trick let hey again. When i finally finished the charges were wrong. So i went back into the office and gave the key back and told the girls the adjustments weren't reflected which was why I asked them to do the book an hour ago. To which the ride girl said " Well I'm so sorry I didn't want to stop eating my lunch that I didn't get to take until 1pm so screw you you f!@%ng fagot." I replied it wasn't my fault she didn't get lunch until 1 and it would have only taken either one of the two 5 minutes to do. To which I was told "on girls, doing nothing at the time, 5 minutes in going to kick your f#$%ing ass if you don't get out. And the discount we promised you is gone now as%$#le." I had to rent a trailer to haul a scooter to the repair place. I went to UHaul's website and chose a 8 by 4 open trailer for $14.95. I placed the reservation online and was supposed to get a call within and hour. An hour went by and there was not call. I immediately called and spoke to Jennifer. She was very nice and professional. She told me she did not have the trailer UHaul told me they had. She offered one of their trailer's they normally rent for $25 for the same price. I told her that was fine and was gearing up to head over there. She called me back and told me that Merlin said he would not honor that. She told me she would give me a trailer with a roof to it, which I really did not want but decided to take her up on it. I asked if she had a trailer ball and she told me she could sell me one for $12, which was not too bad. I get there and Jennifer hooks up the trailer for me. The ball she sells me is a tad bit too big for my hitch. The whole time I was towing you could hear it banging. When I got to the repair place, the plastic washers were chewed up. I decided to return the trailer that night to save me the trouble of returning it in the morning. Jennifer told me I could just leave it there and she would send me an email in the morning. Sure enough, I got an email in the morning from Jennifer. I have to agree with Jason K. If you do the reservation through UHaul and choose this location, it is hit or miss. I gave them more stars because of Jennifer's awesome customer service. Merlin was in the office and if I would have dealt with him directly, I might have scored them much lower. This place is a pain to get to for trailer rentals. I might opt for someplace a little closer to my house. I wish they had more parts for tow hitches. I did noticed you could rent popups and campers there too, which is good. I would love to see them start renting those dog house popups which I could tow with my car. read more

I would love to write a great review but this place stole my money. My husband and I have been renting from Park Place for about 2 years because their prices were affordable. We have given this place a good amount of business. We have rented the 10x20 unit outside, the "warehouse" 10x30 unit, a U-Haul truck, and two 10x20 climate controlled units (sizing may very). We were happy with Park Place until we bought our house and had to move in July of 2018. We had the two climate controlled units at that time and we were paid in full for the entire month for both units. Our plan was to empty out one of the units, and since we were paid up for the rest of the month we were going to let a family member use the unit until the end of the month because they too were in the process of moving. Low and behold in the middle of the month, a month we had ALREADY paid for, they took that unit away from us and rented it to someone else! When we asked about it the response we got was they "assumed" we were done with it. I'm sorry but we paid for a FULL month for both units and it was taken from us halfway through the month. We brushed it off thinking this was just a one-time misunderstanding and that we could work this out somehow. Later we had the big 10x30 "warehouse" unit and we would probably need it for another day or two at the beginning of the month so that we would not have to move all that crap out of that warehouse in just such a short time. Since we got screwed for half a month for the climate controlled unit we wanted to see if they would just let us use the big warehouse unit for an extra day or two and call it even. We spoke with Merlin (the owner/manager) and got a very short and RUDE response stating everything had to be out by the 1st NEW YEAR'S DAY or they would charge us another month. It's absolutely outrageous that we were not refunded half a month (for the climate controlled unit, nor was this jerkoff Merlin even willing to extend our warehouse unit for a short time to make up for it. You know what we call that? FRAUD! We were fraudulently, unlawfully, and illegally sold the use of two units for a month and only received use of those units for half a month. PARK PLACE ARE CROOKS!! Don't do it just do not do business here, save yourself some time and aggravation and do business with people who aren't thieves. read more

This place (park place storage in Kyle tx) is the worst place my son in law got a storage unit there the lady told him he could pay the pymt on a certain day when he called Friday to confirm he was stopping by the next day Saturday she told him she auctioned it off I highly recommend you use any other storage place in Kyle read more

The young lady, Jerrie I believe, who helped me was super sweet. She had a great personality and energy about her. The prices were a bit higher than the last uhaul rental place I went to, but she was worth the extra cost! read more
