I don't even know where to start…read more I feel completely taken advantage of, mislead, and bullied after working with Little Guy Movers on what was supposed to be a very simple move from a house to a storage facility nearby. At the inception of the job, I was quoted a very high amount for a local move, which I agreed to, as I had no other option and needed a move quickly. Ryan sold me on their diligence, their process, and the various roles of each worker; little of which came to fruition on our job. We had to plead and advocate for several of our items to be packed properly, after discovering very shoddy work. Some parts of furniture were only covered with very little shrink wrap, which they ran out of quickly as they did not have enough of the necessary materials to complete our job. This left us feeling very confused and very frustrated as we paid such a high premium for this very average-seeming move into empty storage units. Many of our items had to be transported to the storage facility loosely and improperly due to the lack of materials, to be properly packed later at the destination. Ultimately we had to take on the burden and risk of our items being damaged in transit to the storage units due to the companies mistake. There was little to no protocol conducive to an organized job. Many of the men were seemingly unsupervised, and much of the time, doing little to help move things along. We were concerned that most of the men working had little to no experience moving items. Our items were not labeled, which we were promised before the job. This was something very important to us as we wanted to keep track of our items. In the end, we paid over $4,000 for about 8 hours of work, that very well could have been 4-6 hours of work with a decent protocol and the necessary supervision. We highly regret trusting this company with our items, money, and time. It was a reminder to us that we really cannot let our guard down and trust anybody at face value, even when paying such a premium and being promised a great product. Since we were not provided a receipt in person, I was left to discover that the card was charged just over $4,400 through square. We are not sure how to justify this amount as we do not have a receipt. We are seriously so upset and felt compelled to share our experience.

However, this is not the company I'd recommend using to move if you're looking for experienced movers who know how to maneuver large objects without possible damage. One of the guys was so inexperienced that even after one of the others provided him full step-by-step instructions, he still managed to miss his "Set" cue and hurt himself pretty significantly. This required medical attention, which caused delays and a pick up from the owner. The remaining two guys seemed to not understand the concept of placing a sofa on end to maneuver into a hallway concept. After damaging the corners of my hallway entrance while making several attempts, I opted to have them place the sofa into a wide open room and I'll hire someone else to do what I need. They did a fine job of removing stuff from the truck into the house. If that's all you need in a pinch, LittleGuys will suffice.

The price was competitive with other companies and better than having us fill a dumpster. It was good and the three trucks were there that same afternoon! Everything that was removed from the apartment was taken. The next day, an additional truck was filled with more items that were removed from the apartment. The employees filled the truck themselves. My employees did not have to do anything as this company did all the lifting. Zuhair Tariq whom I spoke with was pleasant and polite. He was able to answer every question and he gave me an estimate that was the final price that I paid. I will use this company again and recommend them to anyone that has a huge load to dispose.

The actual people who did the pickup were fine. A bit more bumping into walls than I'd like, but otherwise ok. The problem was scheduling. I booked a month in advance and they said they would be there the morning of pickup between 8 and 10 am. They were texting me to ask for pictures of what I needed taken away as early as 8:15. At 9:45 they texted me a quote. I messaged them around 10:30 asking if/when they were coming b/c the pickup window had passed. And then I didn't hear anything until around noon. Two hours after the pickup window. That's when they told me that they weren't going to be there until around 4. In reality, it was around 4:50. The reviews here are still generally really good, so I'm hoping my experience was just a fluke, but the lateness combined with the lack of communication made for a really disappointing experience.
