The larger trucks have dynamic cruise control that will maintain a perfect distance to the vehicle ahead of you. Our 20-footer had a separate light switch on the cab to control lighting on the cargo hold. That was nice. You don't need to use the battery on cab lights while you're loading or unloading. The translucent roof lets enough light in to be very useful in the daytime. Note that a Penske 12- foot truck has roughly the same cargo space as a UHaul 15-footer, as UHaul counts the "Momma's Attic" space, even though it's only a few feet high. Keep that in mind when comparing pricing. We've used Penske three times now for three-day long-hauls (interstate/cross county) and will use for any future move, too.

We wound up needing a vehicle to move a large furniture item and I recalled they had a truck to use (with some fees depending on miles and duration). They VERY kindly met us in the AM when their office was officially closed to provide the truck. I love that you can access your space anytime and that they offer handy handcarts to take things from your vehicle to your space. It is well-lit, secure, and well maintained.
