I needed to move a very heavy piece of machinery (cast iron table saw). Dyer were very responsive to my inquiry and needs. Competitive pricing and willing willing to work around my schedule needs. The entire team was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The move occurred without a hitch and best part was NO surprises. Will definitely look to them for any future moving needs! read more

Very professional and high quality movers. Steven who is the owner was very polite and professional. Would 100 percent recommend this company to anyone who is in need of moving services. read more

Awesome group of guys who know how to "tetris" the truck. I had a larger than expected job, but Steve and his team figured out how to maximize every inch of space. They were also very enjoyable to have around. Great attitudes. I would highly recommend. read more

I moved into my apt in mid February. These guys had great rates, were transparent about their rates, communicated they would be 10 minutes late, very personable, and most importantly, packed, wrapped, loaded and unloaded my belongings efficiently and rather quickly. I would gladly use and recommend them to others! read more

This was an Excellent moving experience using Austin Pro Moving! Both Steve and Mike were extremely courteous, conscientious, and professional from beginning to end. They moved our third floor two bedroom apartment to our new first-floor apartment expediently and without incident (everything was carefully wrapped) and placed everything back in place... including hooking our washer and dryer back up! They are a local family owned company which is always our preference and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again if needed! Thanks guys!! read more

I worked with Steve, the owner on our move and he brought two other hard working assistants (John and Alberto) with him to help. On the contrary to other reviews, Steve was very responsible, hardworking and punctual. I will definitely hire him again for future work. I have never seen a group of guys work that hard before. Steve and his crew worked 13 hours non-stop with barley even a break. They were on time, professional and made extra measure to ensures expensive belonging were moved safely with no damage. He helped break down our beds, kitchen table and other items with out any issues. In the past working with other movers things are usually left unassembled with missing screws and components as well. I have worked with big moving companies in the past and have had terrible service and in the end regretted it. Working with Steve was a great experience I am even hiring back in a few days to help with some additional unpacking above and beyond the move. If you are looking for someone to help with your move I highly recommend Austin Pro Movers. read more

We cannot say enough good things about this company! We bought a house & things always seem to happen to throw a kink in your plans when you close. We had them scheduled for a Friday & literally at the last minute (the morning of the afternoon move), we had to call & arrange a change. The gal we dealt with was SO KIND AND ACCOMODATING! It had to have thrown off their day, but they bent over backward to figure it out with us & were incredibly understanding. Steve (owner) and Josh were the guys who did our move & were GREAT! Funny, kind, efficient. They wrapped all the items that should be wrapped & allowed this pregnant gal to just sit around & direct traffic. They did break a lightbulb going up the stairwell, but knocked a bit of money off the total without us mentioning it. For us, that's a sign of a good business man. Would highly recommend them! read more

I highly recommend Austin Pro Moving! They were quick, careful, on time, and half the price of other movers. They were very friendly and very good at communicating with me through the process. They were also able to schedule the move in short notice. I honestly couldn't be more happy with Austin Pro Moving. read more

They cancelled on me last minute!!! I had booked with Austin Pro Moving weeks in advance and was set to move on a Friday at 1PM. They showed up at 1:30PM after finishing two previous jobs. The guy came to my third floor apartment and told me my things would take too long to move and he had a big commercial job to get to. I'm not usually at a loss for words but I was this horrible day. Considering everything was packed and I had to be out of my place, I felt like I was in a bad dream. The man told me he is getting out of residential and cannot risk being late to his next commercial job. Why did you schedule me then!!!! If I had more things than they could move, why was there not an offer to move some things???? They didn't offer any type of solution, just walked out the door and left me stranded. Unfortunate for this company, I have been in commercial property management and a broker in Austin for over 5 years. I have connections and you cancelled on the wrong person. After calling over 20 movers who were all booked, Keep Moving, LLC (www.keepmovingtx.com) scheduled a special night move to accommodate me. They were extremely professional and informed the movers of my previous experience that day. The movers were extremely kind and managed to make it a fun experience. read more

It was great to work with this company. Setting my appointment was quick and easy. Steve and his co-worker (I forgot his name) arrived right on time, set a course of action and tackled the job with professionalism. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. Billing was straight forward and I was charged exactly what I was quoted with no hidden fees. read more

Excellent movers. Efficient, timely and polite. Pricing was more than competitive. My home and belongings we very well taken care of. We are very grateful to them and would highly recommend. My family has used this company twice already, once for a long distance move, and once for an across state move. If we ever move again, I have no doubt they will be my first choice. This is the team you need! read more

First of all, you should know that I move A LOT. This is my 4th move in 5 years but in the last 10 years, I've moved about 14 times. Crazy, I know, but that being said, I know a good mover when I work with one and Steve and his crew, John and Alberto were phenomenal. I hired them to pick up stuff in storage, help me pack my apartment (i had only packed about a dozen boxes) and then move me about 5 miles away to my new home (and hopefully the place I stay for several years!) The whole crew had a positive attitude the whole day. In my opinion they worked too hard and should have taken more breaks but their focus on getting the job done, and done right ,was second to none. They took care in wrapping my wall art, my breakables and ensuring that everything arrived safely. They were not only a pleasure to work with but their quality of work was amazing. Thank you Steve, John and Alberto! I'll be referring you to everyone I know! read more

Off to a good start. Lisa is fantastic. The rate VERY affordable. I was able to schedule the move when I needed it. We're only moving across town, but I'd rather do it in a day, than have it take 2.5 to 3 days like it has in the past. I'm excited. I'll update this review after my experience is over. Though so far, I'd already recommend them. read more

I purchased some furniture from Craigslist and needed to have it moved quick. I called the "big" guys and their estimates were outrageous and they could only show up in a three hour window of time. I found Austin Pro Moving on Craigslist and went to their website. Family owned - all right I like to help local small business. Steve, the owner, comes out on every move. So I called them on Tuesday afternoon. Talked to Steve's wife. Yes, they could make it at one the next day. Fantastic! The best was the care they took. Steve and Mike wrapped everything. We went from South Austin to Cedar Park. They took everything out, unwrapped it, set it where I wanted and asked if there was anything else I needed moved! Then the bill came. Steve said "you didn't even use the minimum yet". Well, I am so happy with these folks I would give them six stars if I could. I will use them for everything in the future. You should too. (and yes they take credit cards) read more

So Steve is the owner of the company. He is very irresponsible and unprofessional. He forgot to unload my trash can and my sewing machine. He admitted to this. We agreed that he would return it the next day. He never showed up nor contacted me. I contacted him asking if he would please return it as soon as possible, and he never did. Its been a month. He ignores my calls and texts. I even offer to pick them up and I had no response. He stills has it. Beware.... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Steve and crew were exceptional. Professional, efficient, fairly priced. Cant really ask for more. Moved 4 bedroom house with piano into storage in intense heat no problem. Id recommend to anyone. read more

There's a reason why they are listed under "The Best Moving Companies" in Austin. They are "hands down" the best mover I have ever had in my life. They always answer the phone. Lisa is so sweet and professional. She assured me that when the movers arrive what would happen. She didn't just give me a bunch of empty promises to earn my business. They did exactly as promised and more! Steve and Mike showed up and didn't rush me. They were very respectful, professional, efficient, smart and funny. They are also very strong! They didn't complain or waste time. They treated my belongings as if they were their own. They exceeded my expectations and delivered exceptional service. I would refer them to everyone that needs a moving service. Oh and by the way they also took the time to put things where they belong and were patient when I was trying to decide where to put items. You will not regret hiring them for sure! I will use them every time I move from now on! read more
