So very thankful for common sense moving! I used them during my last move and they were great so I decided to reach out to them again. After I filled out their contact form, they reached out within 24 hours letting me know their availability. We were able to confirm booking in two emails. They showed up promptly at 8:30 in the morning and texted when they got close to the house. It took two trips to get everything moved, and even though we weren't going too far, it only took about four hours. The two guys hustled and were so quick, but they kept all of my items safe and nothing was damaged! I was very impressed! I haven't moved in so long, but Common Sense Moving made it so much easier! My friend who also just moved had recommended them to me, and I was very pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. Quick communication, fast and efficient, friendly service, great experience!!! Would easily recommend and use them again in the future. Pricing was $150/hr. with a minimum of 2.5 hrs. My move from a 1,100 SQFT. apt. on the third floor of a building with an elevator took about 3.25 hrs. total, plus I added a tip. They were timely, well-prepared, and made moving my furniture from the 3rd floor look super easy. I saw people recommending Common Sense Moving on Reddit, so I requested a quote and it was definitely competitive. The day before the move, I was anxious and even checked in to make sure they were still coming (lol). Sam reassured me everything was on schedule. I thought my stuff was ridiculously heavy (but I have no upper body strength), but these guys cleared out my apartment quickly. They wrapped everything in blankets to protect the furniture and my apartment walls. My storage unit wasn't huge, so I was worried it wouldn't fit everything. But sure enough, they fit everything perfectly, and we were done in around three hours. I'm so glad I chose them over the other options - would definitely use them again for my next move! read more

AMAZING company with hard workers who make sure nothing gets broken! They were so professional, efficient and kind. They constantly kept me in the loop, let me know the plan and answered all my questions. They got the job done in the time they quoted me, and were even a little faster which was awesome. Finally got my internet working properly and I couldn't get to writing this review fast enough! First, I found this company under a Reddit thread. The comments were overwhelming positive. So much so I thought it was the company ghost reviewing. But I just bought a house and my money is tight, but I still wanted my stuff moved with some care. I went to the website for a quote and couldn't believe the price! It was by far the most affordable. It made me wonder about the quality of their work but I had to get this move done. I was at my witts end trying to move on my own. The set up time was easy. Communication was great from the company. BUT BOY THE SERVICE. They showed up and I had a lot of the stuff to be moved ready for them. We got to work and these guys don't mess around. They are friendly but fast and focused which is great in a business that could get to the point where they are charging you in 15 minute increments. I've also heard horror stories of movers taking their time to milk the clock. You won't have any of that nonsense here! What really got me was, for as much emphasis as they put on being fast and efficient, they also put a huge emphasis on protecting your stuff. They handled all my belongings with such care! And that's a huge feat because I have a gym grade Precor elliptical that needed to go down 4 flights of stairs. Just 2 guys managed to get it out! They also moved some smaller boxes I hadn't planned on them moving. They said they have a huge truck so I might as well use it. Thanks to them I didn't have to make as many trips to get the remaining stuff out of my apartment! At the house, they handled my home with as much care and consideration as they'd handled my belongings. They took my elliptical apart and the door off the hinges so that nothing would get damaged when bringing it upstairs into my new house. Then they took the time to make sure everything was put together appropriately. I've been telling everyone I can about this company. I feel if you're in the market for movers you'd be a fool to go with anyone else. For me, customer service is incredibly important and they have it in spades. So much, that even though my money is tight because of the home purchase, I KNEW I had to give them a tip. I just wish it could have been more than I was able to give. They deserved so much more! I could go on and on about them so I'll just say do yourself a favor and support a local business by hiring this company. Highly recommended! We wouldn't consider calling anyone else in Texas. They are polite, they handle things with much care, and very reasonably priced. We moved from Spring, TX to a town north of Austin, and they arrived when promised and made our move very easy. No complicated processes. Simply schedule the day and time... They come.
