I called Crown City Plumbing for a water pipe leak emergency. Hours after their arrival, I get a call from the plumber Carlos saying that he could not find and stop the leak. I asked him if he wanted to come back the next day to do the repair as he mentioned that he needed to let his guys go home as the time was past 6pm when he called me. However, his reply was that he doesn't really do these "types" of extensive jobs, although it is listed in the provided services section. So I said ok, and moved on to find another plumber. I needed a toilet replaced so naturally I called Carlos. When I spoke with him he acted as though he wasn't interested in performing this task. He put me off for days then finally got a couple of his guys to come over and swap out the toilets. I can't say I was thrilled with the installation as the toilet blocked the door and didn't flush well. I called Carlos and he came over to check it out. I could tell he wasn't happy and he stated that the problem was the toilet and I would need a new toilet that fit and worked better. After many issues with American Standard, I got a new toilet and called Carlos. I called and left a message, he never returned my call. This crew worked miracles getting 2 toilets replaced just hours after I contacted them. They were fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

Work was needed on hot water valve in the kitchen of a condo for an elderly relative. The condo has a common use boiler on the roof, that is problematic for the average plumber. Another plumber had been out and gave an erroneous assessment of the water leak issue involving the dishwasher and garbage disposal at the unit. That plumber recommended replacing the dishwasher and garbage disposal, and made no mention of the stuck hot water valve. Fast forward to the relative buying a new dishwasher, and the company doing the installation noting they were unable to install due to the stuck water valve. At that point, the HOA was asked which plumbing company is familiar with the complex, and they stated Crown City, and another company. When the other company was contacted, they balked about coming out. Crown City was then contacted, came out and made the repair quickly without a hitch. Last New Years Eve, at about 11:00pm, the sump pump in the garage of our condo complex suddenly stopped working, and the garage began to flood. We called Crown City's emergency number. We've used Crown City for a few jobs now so I want to share how excellent they are! First they installed 2 new tankless waters instead of one old tank at the same time they also installed a full house water filtration and non-salt water softener system. It was the worst time of Covid but everyone was super prepped with masks and the work site was very clean at all times. There was a lot of digging on the side of the house and and connections to be made under the house but it all went smooth including when our old tank decided enough was enough at 6pm the day before the new ones were hooked up somehow they managed to breath life in it to last us an extra day! Our water use has gone down almost 70% since this got installed. Our sewer line has been a disaster waiting to happen, it's loooong, it had a nasty belly issue. Carlos with his team came they dig out the old sewer line and changed what needed replaced at the right angle. For some weird reason we have two sewer lines going out to the street but they meet in the middle of the drive way. They had to hammer up the driveway which turned into a quest (!), which resulted in some change of the plans and re-routing of sewer pipes under the house. It was a big job and even with pretty unexpected challenges, the full team was solution focused and worked really really hard to ensure we had running water and toilets as much of the time as possible. At all times we knew what was going on and always felt confident they had it handled. We've also had a few minor plumbing things popping up here and there like they do and Carlos has always been great to send someone out to take care of it. He has a solid team of great skilled people that work great together, and it's assuring to know they are on it and will take care of it. Plumbing issues are my least favorite. read more
