I have an old house built in the 1950's with an old cast iron toilet flange that rusted through, and I needed help repairing and re-installing my toilet. After removing the old flange, I noticed that the sub floor was missing around the sewer pipe and there was no way I could attach the new flange to the old pipe. I reached out to what must have been 10 plumbing companies to see how to fix this thing, their first response was quoting me a price, trying to see if there's any way they could fix the subfloor, etc. etc. Jordan was the only plumber who gave me a call, told me that there's a special flange you could get specifically for this application, and walked me through the process. His transparency, honestly, and willingness to help even when it didn't benefit him economically is what made me ultimately hire his company for this job. I called Capello Plumbing when our poorly installed front yard hose bibb cracked a pvc pipe and sprung a leak. They were the only of four local plumbers I found on yelp to get back to me within 20 minutes of leaving a message. Even though they were fully booked for the week/weekend, Jordan, the business owner, came out himself to temporarily remove the cracked/leaking PVC pipe and plug the valve until they could return to finish the job a few days later. The other plumbers either got back to me later that day, the next day, or never... Jordan gave me a detailed rundown of the solutions and my options , and was patient with my questions. He installed a copper standpipe off the mainline with a new hose bibb- the right way- instead of the previously jimmy-rigged and ugly pvc setup our landscaper did. My kitchen faucet had an internal leak that was serviced and abandoned by Western Rooter last December 2022. Western Rooter left my house in December 2022, who gave up on the fix which they diagnosed the leak from the garbage disposal. After contacting Jordan via Yelp, I noticed from the short chat that I was speaking with a knowledgeable and experienced licensed plumber and received an estimate immediately. With other Yelp plumbing sites, I would chat with a scheduler / administrator peppering me with lots of pre-sales questions and evading my questions about cost estimates. Today Cappello Plumbing not only replaced my kitchen faucet, but also my hot, cold angle and dishwasher stops, air gap, basket strainer, p trap, flange and tall piece. They tested and retested their plumbing work on site and found additional leaks and modified their plumbing repair accordingly. After two years of dealing with this under sink leak and paying lots of money to Western Rooter and other plumber who did not fix the original problem, I hope that this under sink water leak is now resolved. If you are serious about getting some plumbing done you're better off calling someone that will at least call you when there not gonna show up and then stand you up when you have to contact them to find out why no one showed up or called to say hey we're not even gonna come, then they scheduled me an appointment the next day and still stood me! Cappello did some great work for me. My home had a tankless hot water heater located in an inside closet. I needed the closet cleared out to make way for an upcoming remodel. Tankless hot water heaters are great for an endless supply of hot water. But they can take a significantly longer time to deliver water to a faucet or shower than the conventional ones. The tankless heater in my closet worked OK, but the hot water was a long time coming. Jordan recommended a Navien tankless with a recirculation loop mounted on an outside wall of my home. I scheduled the job a month or so in the future. On the scheduled day, they arrived on tome and banged the total job out in 6 hours -- hitting my home with three installers! At the end, the whole system he proposed worked fantastically! When I turn on the hot water now, just a few seconds later, hot water arrives.
