This was the first time I called this company. Manny answered the phone and came the next morning on time. He found a leak under the flooring by the front door. He said he would come back the next day cause it would take couple of hours to finish the job. My husband asked him to just stay and finish the job cause we wanted him to fix the leak asap, And Manny said yes! He finished everything until 8:30pm! I was surprised that he even cleaned up the whole area before he left. I really appreciate it. read more

Manny came on the same day I called. He fixed my leaking problem under the kitchen sink. He identified the cause of problem and solved it. It's my food disposal that caused water leaking from the pipe. He is an honest guy, reliable and knowledgeable on his job. His price is also reasonable too. P I'm so glad to find a trustworthy plumber nearby my area. I'll definitely call Manny back if I have plumbing problems next time. read more

Excellent service! Manny came out and looked at our bathroom sink plumbing, and AC condensation pipe, identified the issue right away, and fixed it. Highly recommend! read more

We bought our home in 2018, and ever since then we've had recurring drainage issues with the line shared by our kitchen sink, garage sink, and washer. Every time we did laundry, the water would back up into the garage sink. Over the years, we've had several plumbing companies come out, and while they were able to temporarily clear the clog by snaking the drain, every company quoted us an arm and a leg for a "permanent fix." Then we found Magic Rooter & Plumbing, and speaking with Manny was truly a blessing. What immediately impressed me was that, during our first phone call, Manny didn't start by talking about prices like everyone else. Instead, he took the time to explain what was happening with our drain line, what he planned to do, and why. That gave me confidence that he genuinely cared about solving the problem rather than just making a sale. Other companies wanted to charge me $300 just for a camera inspection, but Manny provided a complete solution at a price that was fair, reasonable, and absolutely justified. The results speak for themselves. We no longer have any backflow into the garage sink, the foul odor is completely gone, and the water drains faster than it has in years,it honestly feels like we have a brand-new drain pipe. I was so happy with the results that I already told Manny I'll be calling him every couple of years for preventative maintenance to keep our drain line in great shape. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable plumber who takes the time to explain the problem and provides quality work at a fair price, I highly recommend Magic Rooter & Plumbing. Thank you, Manny, for giving us peace of mind after years of dealing with this frustrating issue. read more

Manny was the best! We had a toilet issue a few weeks ago, and he texted us right away to schedule an appointment for the same day. Although his previous job ran longer than expected, he took the initiative to contact us ahead of time and was completely honest about it -- which I really appreciated because most companies don't do that and just leave you waiting. He called to explain the situation and arranged for another technician to come out instead, which was totally fine with us. It turned out to be a simple fix, but there was a small miscommunication -- the technician was supposed to call me before doing any work. Manny immediately called afterward, apologized sincerely, and was so generous that he offered to cover the cost due to the misunderstanding. It's rare to find that level of honesty and customer care these days. I'd absolutely recommend Manny and his team! read more

Manny was professional, honest, and easy to work with. He quickly identified the source of the leak, explained the issue clearly, and made a simple adjustment that stopped the leak. He didn't charge us for the quick fix and never tried to recommend unnecessary repairs. We really appreciated his honesty and excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and highly recommend him! read more

I Just had a great experience with magic plumbing. I had a blockage where the washer discharge was overflowing from an ajacenet toilet. I snake it through the clean out, with a 25 footer, which seemed to work for a few weeks. But then the overflow was back. I needed a longer clean out and drain pipe exam. Magic to the rescue! Manuel came out on a Sunday, and he was easy to work with, taking his time to clean out the main, and examine the house main drain with a camera. He explained everything that he saw and gave me a current temp fix and options for future work. My galvanized pipes are probably 70 years old and are showing it's age. You can't go wrong with Magic! read more

Manny the owner is friendly and provided diagnosis to my kitchen sink leak with professionalism and honesty. The repair was done quickly at a fair price. He helped to clear my dishwater line for free. I would recommend this business to friends and family for sure. read more

My kitchen and washer drain had been slow lately. The line just couldn't keep up. Called Tuesday afternoon and they had someone out the very next morning, which honestly impressed me. Manny showed up on time with all the right equipment and got straight to work on the laundry and kitchen drain line. I'll admit I'd neglected it for a few years and it was really sludged up. He hydrojetted the whole thing, then ran a camera through afterwards so I could see for myself. Flow is completely back to normal. No more slow draining. Manny clearly knows his stuff, explained everything as he went, and left the place clean, no mess. On top of that, they back the hydrojetting with a one-year warranty, so you know they stand behind their work. Fast scheduling, honest work, great results. Ask for Manny! read more

I thought a pipe was leaking in my garage so I called Magic Rooter in a panic. Junior came to look at it the same day and noticed that a tube from the water softener had split and leaked, and it wasn't an actual pipe in the wall. He told me that he could fix it or I could go to Home Depot and buy a connector for a few bucks and do it myself. He didn't charge me anything for the visit but gained a loyal customer the next time I need any plumbing done! Great customer service always wins over dishonest companies trying to nickel and dime their customers. Highly recommend calling Magic Rooter if you need any plumbing work! read more

Manny came out on short notice Saturday to Pasadena CA home and replaced my toilet fill valve. It's a job I've done once before (easy job), but the water supply line screw was over-tightened by prior owner and I couldn't budge it. He was professional and charged a reasonable amount. I highly recommend him and his company. (I've also asked him to give me an estimate on a couple of other plumbing to-dos on my house.) read more

Manny was super helpful and took the time over the phone to hear all about our plumbing issue which was proving challenging to figure out where the source of the issue was coming from. He sent Daniel out the same day who is very courteous. patient and solved lack of hot water problem. I needed three toilets rebuilt, a shower snaked, and my water heater descaled. Junior, the son of the owner, did outstanding work at a fair price. Friendly, professional, and reliable service. Always right on time for the appointment. They are on top of it. Texting to remind you of the appointment and the status of the driver. I highly recommend Magic Rooter and will call on them for all my plumbing needs. read more

I called them because my kitchen sink was clogged and Manny took my call. He was able to schedule me in that day. Daniel came over within the hour and was very polite and professional. He made sure everything was protected and kept clean. I didn't get any other quotes from other plumbing services for a price comparison, but I was happy with the quote that Manny gave me over the phone. It seemed like a reasonable price and after Daniel was done, I paid exactly what Manny had quoted me, so I appreciated that there weren't any extras or hidden costs added on. I would hire them again. read more

Wow. They say a good plumber is hard to find but look no further than Magic Rooter & Plumbing. Jr Melgoza came just 2.5 hours after I first sent a request for service to Yelp to repair my garbage disposer and he quickly diagnosed the problem: a small spoon had gotten chewed up down there. I asked if he could stay to do two other jobs I had procrastinated taking care of -- a leaky kitchen sink and replacement of my bathroom shower head -- and he kindly agreed. He went out to a plumbing store to get new parts for the sink, which took care of the leak, and also quickly installed the new shower head. The prices were extremely reasonable and he didn't even charge me for the disposer work. I really liked Magic Rooter's communication system of telling you the name of the plumber who would be coming to do the job, along with his photo, and texting you when the plumber is en route to your house. They also send a link to see his exact location on the way over so you can calculate the arrival to the minute. In addition, I liked that they gave me an initial estimate over Yelp in contrast to other plumbers who replied that they had to come by and look first. Jr was knowledgeable, efficient, cheerful and polite. I appreciated that he put on shoe covers as we don't wear shoes in the house. I highly recommend Magic Rooter & Plumber! read more

Great service and experience with Manny! He was very thorough and took his time to clean our drain in our bathroom sink. Much appreciated and will use again in the future! read more

Highly recommend! I called Magic Rooter because the bathtub in my new home wasn't draining and I didn't know why. Manny arrived the very same day and was incredibly generous with his time and expert advice. Turned out there was a broken plug that we couldn't see with the naked eye clogging things. Thanks to his diagnostics and help, I was able to resolve the issue without needing to cut into any pipes--and he didn't even charge me for the visit! I'll definitely be using Magic Rooter for all my plumbing needs moving forward. read more

Key Performance Indicators: 1) Excellent Communication skills - Customer service representative and Junior (plumber) were responsive, professional, knowledgeable, timely, and efficient. In addition, company sent text messages showing location of Junior en route on a live map and included his photo (BONUS - a major safety measure that all companies should implement!) 2) Respectful - Junior came prepared with his own shoe covers and cleaned up the area directly surrounding the plumbing issue with his own disinfectant and towels. He even generously offered to help clean up the flooded area. 3) Diligent - Junior assessed the situation and resolved the issue after multiple attempts given the severity of the backup in the pipes. He stayed for several hours until successful. He had a full schedule on Sunday and appointments after mine but made me feel at ease that he would fix the problem. 4) Quality of Work - This company offered a 30-day warranty for this plumbing issue and stands by their performance. It would behoove them to perform well to avoid subsequent visits, and so far, no recurring issues! 5) Cost - Exceptionally fair and reasonable, especially given the time and effort to resolve the issue on a weekend. 6) Emotional Intelligence - any reputable company can do the job with high reviews on Yelp. But not every company can employ a team like Magic Rooter & Plumbing - the two personnel I interacted with exhibited high levels of emotional intelligence which is needed in front facing customer interactions in highly stressful situations. Thank you, Magic Rooter & Plumbing and Junior! You've earned my future business and word of mouth marketing to family, friends, and neighbors. read more

We had an issue with an unsealed air gap in our kitchen. I called Magic Rooter and they were very polite and prompt in their customer service, sending someone the same day, and even giving updates as to his arrival. They sent a guy named Dan, who called ahead of time to let us know when he'd get to us, and who then arrived and worked tirelessly to find a solution to what was looking otherwise to be a very complicated solve thanks to a poorly aligned sink & counter top. Not only did Dan find a solution, he and Magic Rooter didn't even charge us for the work. We were beyond thrilled with both Dan and the company as a whole, and will absolutely be calling them again for future issues we have. Highly recommended for anyone who has a tough repair and in need of a creative and kind team who will work quickly and diligently to get it done. Thanks so much, guys! read more

Amazing work by Manny! Spent the necessary time to locate the issue in the sewer line and unclogged the pipes at a very reasonable price.

Both Mannys were genuinely wonderful and professional. You pay them exactly what is diagnosed of the plumbing issue. They are 100% transparent with the labor and parts involved which was extremely appreciated by a new homeowner. They did not rush the process at all, were patient with my questions, and were truly thorough with their plumbing work. This is the place to go to for your plumbing needs, trust me. read more

We had a weird plumbing issue. There was water available to the front and back yards, but there was no water from any of the faucets inside the house. I called Magic Rooter & Plumbing, and Manny sent Junior (Melgoza) out. Junior came to our house in less than an hour. He inspected the faucets and spigots outside. He found that we had a problem with our very dated water softener. The filter was clogged and prevented water from flowing through the pipes. Junior flipped the bypass valve on the water softener system and allowed water to come through. We now have regular water. Will likely be changing out the water filtering system. I also asked Junior to check our water pressure, which he did. And Junior didn't even charge us. He explained everything clearly. We will definitely be calling Magic Rooter & Plumbing again and will ask for Junior, if possible. read more
