Plumbing truck #37 driver was texting or watching something on his cellphone so intently that he swerved into my lane on Holt Blvd. Scraped my vehicle, and took off on a side street after I honked at him to pull over. I got a picture of the truck just before it took off and the damages to mine. Sent damage estimate to them and nothing. Ghosted me after I sent the estimate for repairs ignoring my calls, text or emails. Cost is under my deductible so it's not worth using my insurance. Genuinely great experience in a plumbing emergency. Our home suffered an unexpected main-line backup due to the faulty design of an old cast iron Pomona tee. This happened around 6am, I reached out at 8:30am, and Kyle arrived at 10:30am. Our technician, Kyle, was incredible. He drew clear diagrams to help me understand exactly why a snake couldn't clear it. He quickly provided an estimate to replace the fitting with a modern bullhorn design to eliminate future issues, and also noticed our downstairs toilet wax ring needed replacement. While I initially considered replacing the wax ring myself after researching it, I am so glad I left it to the professionals. The toilet weighed nearly 100 lbs and the floor bolts were severely rusted. Kyle gracefully applied a discount to the overall package that helped soften the blow. This is not how I wanted to start the new year. A couple of days after New Year's, I was doing laundry when the plumbing backed up. It was a Sunday, and after calling around, High Speed Plumbing was the only company that actually responded. They had someone at my house within a couple of hours and hydro-jetted the sewer line. I really appreciated working with Erin--he grew up in my neighborhood and still lives nearby. Having owned my home for a couple of decades, I've had more than a few bad experiences with contractors, but Erin took the time to explain what was going on and immediately put me at ease. Unlike other companies that charge just to run a camera down the line, High Speed Plumbing didn't. They showed me exactly what was happening and explained it clearly. Even though I had the sewer line replaced decades ago, the camera revealed breaks in the pipe and that the previous company hadn't run the line all the way to the main sewer in the street. I hired High Speed Plumbing to replace the line, and I can't recommend them enough. Erin and his business partner walked me through every step, showed me what they were seeing on the camera, and were upfront about pricing. When they gave me the quote, they clearly explained where potential additional charges might come up--no surprises, no games. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would. I called High Speed Rooter at around 10:30 this AM (its a Monday). The kitchen sink hadn't been draining since yesterday & Liquid Plumbr didn't seem to work. They said that they'd send someone over between 12pm & 2pm. At 11:30, I got a call that they were outside, so they got here 30 mins before their window, which was great. They checked the drains outside but neither was clogged. Then they had me run water in the sink, but oddly it wasn't clogged anymore. Maybe Liquid Plumbr worked on the pipe overnight after I'd flushed it with hot water. Regardless, they were very prompt, professional & friendly. They're also only 13 mins from the house & didn't charge for the visit, so we'll call them again if we need help with our plumbing in the future. read more

I contacted this company after my house flooded due to a clogged drain. During the initial contact , I was told they were running a special promotion, which influenced my decision to hire them. During the visit, I was presented with recommendations totaling approximately $14,000 in additional services, which I declined. I was ultimately charged $399. The reason for the call was a clogged drain, but when the technician left, the drain was still clogged! After contacting the company, we were told the technician would return the next day. Before that happened, my husband spent a few additional hours troubleshooting the issue and successfully cleared the clog himself. the original problem was not resolved during the service visit, and the overall cost was higher than I expected for the outcome received I cannot recommend this company. My tech Victor came out and upon inspection gave me a detailed explanation of several potential root causes and corresponding solutions. Seems like the previous homeowner just got a handyman to do a mediocre job and Victor gave me several options. Ideally we get the proper parts and do a rehaul or he can try to work with what we already had and try to make it more secure. There was a $10,000 miscommunication that I'm currently in debt for. The work that needed to get done was multilayered and explained using technical language that I kinda understood. There were things added and removed on the invoice, discounts were applied and I thought I was paying $25,000 but in actuality it was $35,000. Ouch. I'll take some of the blame, after all the negotiating was done, they handed me an iPad that required my signature and in good faith I signed what I thought was a $25,000 contract. There was no walking me through what I was signing or any further explanation. I only realized the job was $35,000 after all the work was done and I had to pay them. I didn't have $35,000. Hopefully yelpers can learn from my mistake, and hopefully these guys explain their invoices better before placing an iPad in front of someone. The majority of the work that they did was underground so I'm hoping it works out but the work that we could see above ground was pretty sloppy. They left epoxy fingerprints on our new gate. The area where they patched up the concrete on the ground looks wonky and out of alignment. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they're probably better at plumbing, their finishing work isn't clean I would recommend using someone else. read more
